Perfectone DABE 301 reel to reel tape recorder - re-capped and working 

I haven't seen much information on the internet about these machines, this one was dead when I got it, spent the best part of a day re-capping the thing. An unusual recorder, it seems to be ahead of it =s time, with bi-directional play and a rather crude reversing system, its also unusual as it seems to play from the right to the left reel in forward mode, in the conventional right to left mode the machine will not change direction, once it reaches the sending foil it simply would stop.
