I used to do this for a living and I swear to god nobody understands just how tedious this job is. He’s using gator grip because he’s repairing vinyl. He has to sand the vinyl and prep it with a prep solution otherwise it will never accept the dye he sprayed on it. And that wasn’t paint. He didn’t just spray paint that seat. He had to color match that vinyl by hand. If you’re good you can get a good match pretty quickly depending on the color but if your not then good luck
For everyone saying fake fake fake.. I basically used to think this, but after watching a ton of his videos (& others) I can confidently say this boy is the real deal! He does great work am as a master of ur trade you can make really make magic happen, it’s just easier to doubt something you don’t understand online then if u saw it in the flesh.
Those repairs really suck to do when you've got leather thats been stretched and have multiple splits/rips. Kudos on your repair. The haters can just post themselves doing a repair to perfection.

I have a 2004 Monte Carlo with a red pace car interior, the perforated leather has 1 tiny little burn hole in the back seat where someone had been smoking, I’m gonna have to look more into how to do these repairs for myself.
I paused the video right at the beginning, looks like "Loctite Super Gel" which I'm pretty sure is just super glue in a gel form. I guess the gel aspect helps it hold its form while drying. Hope this helps.
😂 I give it 2 months, tops!! This is the shit second hand car traders do to tart a motor up before they flog it to ya. Something that is sat in regularly with the body weight of any human moving around on, bodged up like this *will* come unstuck ! Why do you all think he faked it in the last shot. Unfortunately the only real way you'll get rid of it is to pay the money to have it done properly!
Такой ремонт так не делают! Проще поменять кусок целиком! А если сам хочешь делать то надо разобрать шкурку подклеить с низу базу, и уж потом шпаклевать и делать перфорацию! Ну точно не горячей иглой! После высыхания пытаться отпарить парогенератором так как будет видно место склейки! Потом уж красить! Можно сделать хорошо! Но долговечность будет зависеть от эксплуатации
