I am considering either buying the TC Perform VG or the Voicelive Play Acoustic. I like the ease of use of the Perform-VG but the vocal FX of the VL Play.

In the demo is the guitar also plugged into this unit ? The guitar sounds so boomy with the "Club - Purple Reverb", but in the next effect the guitar doesn't sound boomy (& muddy) anymore. Do the vocal effects somehow also affect the Guitar effects as well ?

Can you confirm for me, does the TC Helicon Perform VG have a Double - Doubling voice effect? (The Perform V have it as a button, and the Perform VK can Import the Doubling effect as a Preset with the app through the Beam- Beamable, but for the Perform VG I can't find the answer on the internet

Hey mark! You definitely are able to use some of the effects on the VG with no guitar, but it will mean that you won't have the chord information for the VG to create harmonies for you as you sing. Even without your guitar though, the RoomSense mic will pick up on background chords and generate harmonies accordingly!

@@tchelicon So basically to turn on or off the harmonies or any other effect for that matter,you would need to purchase the footswitch ,example you want to bring in the harmonies just for the chorus of the song ,how would you go about switching to harmonies when the unit is mounted on the microphone stand,unless you do it by hand and get out off beat from playing your guitar,or again a foot switch is required (mandatory) or this unit is absolutely useless without the foot switch,unless I'm missing something, want to purchase, please clarify.

@@bathingatbaxters you have the direction wrong. you would go mic to looper, if it is a stereo looper, you could have the vocal effects going into one input, and the guitar into the other. one in left side, one in right side. then you would either need 2 amps, a mixer, or pa system.

oh and, they make adapters that are a microphone 3 prong to guitar 1/4 jack, so you can plug it into your looper, that is what I will do
