What can I say? He has a great discography, an amazing atypical voice, a lot of charisma, he's a very talented dancer, he composes his songs. I'm a huge fan .😉💯

What immediately comes to mind when I see Loïc's smile/grin at the end is that he's just glad he did a great job. This song means a lot to his idol Sia and he tried (and succeeds wonderfully) to convey those same feelings. It may also be that he is happy to be back into the real world around him so quickly after his performance. Because when he sings like that, he is in a kind of bubble. And then, of course, he saw the silly face of radio host Peter shouting "Oh my God". 😀

When you see him in concert, you smile, cry, sing, laugh, danse, vous pleurer.

My wife introduced me to Loic. This guy is an inspiration to humanity and the way we should all treat each other. Listen to all of his covers and his own music. He’s amazing. I honestly think he can pull out of a song like that with a smile because his voice is naturally higher and from my understanding the source of his pain. Pain inflicted by bullies. What a pleasant surprise: another reaction to one of my favorite artists. 👍 Loïc was born in April 1996 so he was 19 when he performed this song (I think MNM is a radio station in Belgium). He is a big Sia fan and she influenced his way of singing. About the diction: his English is better now and like Sia he sometimes tends to mumble words. He always puts lots of emotions into the melancholic songs and yes he has experienced pain. As already mentioned when you reacted to his Million Eyes song he was bullied as kid/teeanger for several reasons. I hope you'll also react to his French song Mr/Mme that he wrote when he was really down as you will be able to tell from the lyrics.

Thank you for your reaction. If I am not mistaken he said in an interview that he had "suffered" at a younger age because he has a spoken voice which is rather "feminine"; He wanted to dance instead of soccer and suffered some teasing. I'm not saying he experienced real sadness, but certainly mockery. You just have to see him in a interview shy and discreet as well as on stage where he turns into an "animal" exteriorizing his demons :) (really not the same guy, on stage he transforms) Love from Belgium (where we are very proud of Loic ;) :)

Belgian here; MnM is a well known radio station here in Belgium and if I recall correctly, this was a live performance during final times for the school going teenagers. MnM had a program during school finals called "Marathon radio" where teenagers could request songs etc for during their breaks and I believe this was a pleasant surprise when Loic was still in his uprise to fame :)

I am so proud that Loïc has been my idol since 2015, he's the best male artist / entertainer of his generation. He's so criminally underrated. He's a freaking genius and his stage presence is so insane, he's a real showman. HE'S INCREDIBLE and I am so proud to stan this man for more than 6 years now. (PS: You should react to his songs "Heartbreaker" "29" and "Doctor")

Funny you said he can't be more than 26 when he's still not 26 now lol. He was actually 19 when he did this live on the radio. He has large shoulders and is athletic (he trains and is a contemporary dancer) but when you see him act and talk back then it was clear he was still a kid. He is very shy and was severely bullied and rejected by his peers throughout school bc he danced and his voice Never going through puberty. He is also not smirking or acting like it's nothing. He was pretty young and for many of his early years, he would do that after performing alot. Nervous laughter from embarrassement. He would say alot of ''oh thanks you, sorry, really thank you'' after for awhile during the ppl's applause as he was always shook that ppl liked his performance. Bc of the bullying he had alot stage fright and needed coaching and for a long time he always thought sometimes ppl were indulging him or that he would be laughed off the stage. That's is what his song ''million eyes'' is about, that you've reacted to is about. Even though he made that song 3y after the radio live and he was successful he still felt this way. It's very sad. About the diction, well we're speaking French or dutch mostly in Belgium. English is hard to pronounce sorry 😆

He was in the pit of despair when he opened his eyes... It was the dumbfounded look on the tear-stained faces looking back when he opened his eyes that gave him the satisfaction he did his job that made him chuckle.

Hon, that wasn't the top of his range. He's a is the kind of person who pushes himself 1000% in everything he creates. He's EXHAUSTED! He's amazingly fit physically is a spectaculator choreographer, dancer, creator, director, producer and he's ridiculously emotionally available. He's never afraid to go to his yin and yang aspects within himself. He broke up with his long-term girlfriend and made a phenomenal video and song expressing the loss. He knows EXACTLY how to swim in his emotions because it is him, his superpower and he can back right off, close it like a faucet and say, "Ok, yeah so that happened and what's next?" Like Fred Astaire could dance effortlessly like it's nothing. Where have you AMERICANS been all these years?? Loic is history not NEW! Guys u gotta get out of your USA box more! 🙏🌞

Mate, thank you. Honestly, I'm no professional, I have no ability to sing at all, but when I heard this young man perform this song I felt every emotion I have ever felt. I'm grateful to you to validate my appreciation. To let me believe I heard talent. I cried when I heard Loic translate this song. It may be effortless for him, but I heard him give us every word, every note in the way we are supposed to hear it.

You have to see him dance on this song in dancing with the star France (which he won because he was the best contestant we ever seen in this show) it was the best dance he did in the show. It show how much this song means to him

There's a reason why some people call him the male Sia. 😁 Not many males are able to cover this song. Darren Espanto did a great job, too, on the Wish 107.5 bus but I like Loïc's cover best. Thanks for doing my request. I love Loic's powerful belting and he sings with so much passion. His last name is pronounced Notteh (without the final t). He also covered Sia's Elastic Heart and got very emotional. For some people that video is hard to watch because there is so much strain in his face but that's what he looks like when emotions overcome him. The only annoying thing with the Elastic Heart live cover is that the guitar was out of tune. Some of the words are hard to understand in that cover but his English wasn't that good back then.
