FOAMIE & BUCKETS: season 1 episode 159. We have gotten a ton of requests to do a video on the Nike Lebron 16 from a performance aspect. So that is what we did. We have been hooping in this shoe a lot since it came out and we have formulated some opinions based on experience and here they are. From the limited amount of gameplay it seems like they can't jump high enough to even touch the rim. I'm only 5'11" but can get my elbow above the rim n throw one down, I'd love to be that tall but I'd hate to be that tall and not be able to dunk.

I personally prefer heavier shoes when ballin. I like to feel the shoe on my foot. I just don’t feel secure in a lightweight shoe. Editing skills are 💯👌🏾👌🏾

I disagree you saying the 16 is more rigid. In the 15, I didn't like how you toes sit directly under a piece of fuse that is in the toe box. In the 16, I'm not sure there is a piece of fuse there. If so, it's hidden behind some neoprene. I think the 16 is an overall better shoe. the lateral stability is better with that outrigger and a slightly wider base and the fit is better. The tongue is so much better than the 15 too.

Now the better question that I need is which one has better cushion from the 15 to the 16. I’m a professional boxer. This question no one is answering for me. So I need answers foamie. I jump rope on concrete for those who don’t know. Trynna preserve my knees even thou I’m young and have no problems. I’m not trynna go to the doctor when I’m sick I’m trynna go to the doctor to stay healthy feel me?

JJ2K my gym is in a basement and the floor is concrete. The only thing that isnt concrete is the ring mat where I use my boxing boots. So you can see why the cushion is needed since I’m on concrete for a lot of my drills. Also I’m working on a brand deal with a sneaker company I can’t name yet so something like adidas is a no go, feel me? Lol. But thanks for the response. I appreciate you trying to help !

Dude I don't think that you'll develop jumpers knee simply from skipping. Your not jumping high enough to put a significant amount of force on your body. I wouldn't be too worried. (unless you are experiencing a significant amount of discomfort in your knees of course)

As a slasher combo guard I really need court feel, gone are the days of 2 pair of socks because it is too much cushioning and it's affected my game plus im a size 14. (I'm 6'2" 210 43 years old with plenty of juice in my game) that being said after 3 runs in these, I do not suggest these for guards. Bulky feel and although very comfortable I always felt like the need to shoot jumpers instead of driving because I felt slow and cuts didn't feel sturdy, its likely cause the shoe looks like a battleship on me. One hoopers opinion

These are great performance shoes but also are excellent lifestyle shoes,15s and 16s are my definite favorite LeBrons of the collection so far even though the 15s feel a bit high off the ground. Love the 1thru5 16s im definitely not ballin in those, lifestyle only lol

You should review other brands like Adidas, Puma, NB and UA Basketball. They are more on the lower end which is $150 below. Great video though! Keep it up! 🙌🏻
