That's true! Suga has done that before where he stops mid performance to prove its not lip synching ... but for this one performance he actually had tech difficulties with his in-ears so he actually couldn't rap much 😂 So Joon & Hobi to initiative to cover for him ... very professional on their part!! 💜

Come Back Home was a tribute for the 25th anniversary of Seo Taiji and Boys, a nineties boy group that made major inroads in changing Korean music to the K pop we have today. And yes you are right in my estimation on Suga lowering his mike though there is ARMY that believes his ear piece went dead. He sings the first few words then acts with total stage presence as the vocals go silent. Plus he was at a Muster so the crowd would basically accept anything.

I have to say, your reaction was adorable. Everytime Jungkook or Jimin moved a certain way or they did a certain note your brain shut off...you are so cute...thank you for this reaction. I can't stop smiling.

When *BTS* were performing *"MIC DROP", Suga's* earpiece wasn't working so *RM* and *J-Hope* realised and help sing his part and *K-ARMY* as well. But this was one of the ways *Suga* would shut up the haters by stop singing and *ARMYS* sing his verse I'm exhausted just by watching *BTS* perform *"Come Back Home", "No More Dream"* and *"MIC DROP"*

I think Youngi just had some issues with in-ear peaces or mic. he didn't sing a word for the rest of the perfomance, and namjoon did youngi's part.

Suga has done that, stopped rapping, to prove that he really raps, but THIS was actually his in ears stopped working and he couldn't hear anything, that's why RM and JHope did his rap.

Would love to hear your professional take on Boy With Love dance and choreography technicalities someday. A lot of people don't actually see how it could have won Best Dance (Male) category in the recent MMAs in comparison to other dance-centric groups' MV performances that were nominated. For me though, I felt that the Boy With Love choreography and dance performance had some very iconic moves that were almost revolutionary in the way they were executed, despite their simplistic movements. Just look at the sheer number of the BWL dance cover videos from various dance groups all over the world, without BTS even having to create a specific challenge for it. It also had gotten so many sedimentary people (like me) actually leaping to our feet to try those moves out, heh heh. That's how proliferating the BWL choreography was. These are just my layman thoughts though, so I would truly appreciate it if you could someday perhaps make a commentary video, as a professional performer. _Salamat_

This is a remake of Seo Taiji and Boys’ famous song, which they were asked to do by Seo Taiji himself. Seo Taiji is the “father” of modern Korean pop/hip hop music and is beloved by generations. The dance is also borrowed from the original.original

No you're not crazy for thinking that. The parts that are in English do resonate with us more, one because we know what they're saying and two because we can confidently sing along at that point! Can't wait to learn Korean so I can sing ALL their songs like K-Army do!

Mic drop is very emotional for me because it was the very first video I seen of bts and it’s what made me love them. I’m a Jimin fan as well but when I seen taehyung (I didn’t know who tf he was at the time) my heart dropped. And I was absolutely new to kpop and when I heard namjoon start rapping I was like OMG WTF PEOPLE CAN SOUND LIKE THAT?!? It wasn’t until save me and blood sweat and tears that Jimin won my heart.

Correct ..Suga does that on purpose. Though people make up stories about his earpiece. His mic and ear piece would not mess up on the exact same part... every time..He took earpiece out to hear the audience ..and he chooses it because it is a highly participated part … Jungkook also didn't do his first rap verse in No more dream ..Your observations and comments are spot on..You are very handsome too

When I first heard this song a few months ago I knew that I had heard it before or the melody at least. I did a little research and found out that Seo Taiji and Boys sampled Insane In The Brain(Cypress Hill,1993). I really liked BTS's remake of Seo Taiji and Boys, Come Back Home it's a banger.

I didn't see anyone else mention this when I scrolled through the comments but Yoongi switches out his mic before he does the mic drop otherwise he won't actually drop the mic! It's a really smooth transition, one of the backup dancers brings his fake mic out and takes the real one.

COMEBACK HOME is not their song. It's their cover. The original singer is SeoTaeji who made the boy band "SeoTaeji & Boys" with 2 dancers and created the formula of Kpop such as the mixture of singing rapping and dancing. The original song COMEBACK HOME made a lot of kids on the streets go back to their home at that time. BTS was the only one who was chosen by him to remake this song to celebrate his anniversary of 20 years.
