I am an actor and content creator with Hollywood credits including roles on Lucifer (Netflix), Starlight Christmas (Hallmark), JT Leroy (Universal Studios), etc. In this channel, I offer insight to Kpop performances using my 10+ years of training in dance, acting, singing and overall performance. In dance, my forte are contemporary and musicals and have done most of my performances in theatre. Although my channel is mostly known for dance analysis, I am currently inactive in the dance community.

I’m not generally into girl groups but this felt different and fresh and I liked the vibe and the more fighter and less girl group vibe. The choreography is very very tight excited to see where they go.

I find the very subtle formation changes happening during the chorus: it starts at a triangular shape, moves into an inverted triangle shape, back to the triangle shape, THEN shifts into a window formation. Like?????? The formation changes???? This angle doesn't give that justice -- only really noticed it when Inkigayo released a sky cam of theirs!

Many people said it was boring but honestly i like how they put debut songs as chill but with a fighter vibe like heeeyyy we are just starting babe. Also the choreography it may be simple but that's what it makes so good cause all was balance and they killed it

You should watch Gfriend also they are the original synchronization queen when it comes to girl group even though they are already disbanded. They are senior of Le Sserafim (HYBE x Source Music) which Gfriend came from Source Music too.

I don't follow a lot of girl groups because the more fluid style of moves doesn't really draw me in but this style does. When you said cheerleader vibes, a "ding" went off in my head 😂.

I’m so glad you brought up the opening sequence and how unnatural their synchronicity is lol it was the hair flip up with that perfect leg angle after the flawless hand and head placements on the floor…. Like I’ve seen them do this live so many times and they’ve never missed a beat. I’m not surprised bc that’s how BTS was trained back in their earlier days when it was more about sharp/ synchronized, quick and smooth… compared to later day choreo where there’s a lot more personality encouraged for them individually in same parts so it is way different now… but you can see the same pattern in hybe groups … so satisfying

Eunchae learned this entire dance in two hours and learned it *well*, she's such an underrated dancer. I'd especially like to point out parts like 11:14 because Eunchae is tall, especially compared to, like, Chaewon, so he ability to meet the shorter groupmates 90 degree angles is so impressive

as much as I love Yunjin's moves, I always laid my eyes on Chaewon since Iz*one era. Her moves are different from Chaeyeon but I like it, she danced the way I want to, her moves are all I asked for my body
