I am an actor and content creator with Hollywood credits including roles on Lucifer (Netflix), Starlight Christmas (Hallmark), JT Leroy (Universal Studios), etc. In this channel, I offer insight to Kpop performances using my 10+ years of training in dance, acting, singing and overall performance. In dance, my forte are contemporary and musicals and have done most of my performances in theatre. Although my channel is mostly known for dance analysis, I am currently inactive in the dance community.

Wonbin already caught my eye when they released the first set of photos… but here he GAGGED me😩 On top of being in the dance line, it seems like he’s also the center? Also, I agree that Shotaro is able to show his full potential because this is so his niche and the guys are able to blend in with him! Similar groove and dance style!

Where did SM find someone with the charisma of Kai/Taeyong, amazing long hair, and the name Wonbin? They even have their most beloved Jaejoong style visual in Sungchan. And the tall handsome son of a famous composer. Anton is as tall as Sungchan is. Not to mention dance king Shotaro. Seonghan and Eunseok are also famous trainees. Sohee sings well. Strong lineup!

The one and only Osaki Shotaro is my bias. He is just phenomenal, despite not being in the center at all (I'm looking at you SM), he is doing amazing things whenever you notice him at the side. He doesn't need to be in the center to get the attention. He is so detail-oriented and this will be obvious if they release the dance practice.

I think the only reason they didn't put Shotaro as center is bcs riize will then become Shotaro & friends, the man stands out even if he was a backup dancer, he'd devour as a center.

I think the main reason is that shotaro is still lacking in the performance side, he might be the best dancer by technical aspect but he dances more like a profesional dancer and not like an idol dancer, in which the stage presence is preferred, he was nct's best dancer but he was very behind compare to the performance level of many of the nct boys. Now don't get me wrong compare to his debut he seems to have improved a lot, but it is very clear that sm found in wonbin their new kai/taeyong

This old thinking is so year 2020 along with the 'Shotaro only smiles when dancing' biased opinion and has been debunked and proven again and again that it is just the preconceived notion of some NCTzens to make him less than what he is. Whenever Shotaro is in the center, for MAW, Universe, coNEXTion and SMTOWN dance performance, he elevates the whole group. You should read the comments of these videos. Now, I'm not calling for Shotaro to be THE CENTER, but please let him be in the center during the performance. C'mon, he is a main dancer.

SM introduced RIIZE as "emotional pop" group so I'm not really sure if they're going to go with this concept moving forward. There would be a shift probably on their next pre-release. Nonetheless, I'm looking forward to see their future releases. So far, I'm sooo impressed! 👏🏻💯❤

so i wasnt the only one feeling like they will be huge haha idky i just get that feeling like they're the perfect group! dont get me started on the visuals, but we really got a composer (anton), main dancers (shotaro, wonbin + possibly lead dancer seunghan), main vocalists (seunghan, sohee), and their group harmony seems great already whether thats on stage or off stage. also as an xg stan, oh my god, i would love it if they're the male ver of xg music and performance-wise (which we can see that they all can dance)!

My biases are definitely Seunghan & Sungchan. I became a big fan of Seunghan through the smrookies content last year and Welcome to NCT Universe just solidified that, and Sungchan was already in my top 3 in NCT. I’m also becoming a big fan of Anton through the tidbits of his producing that I’ve heard ^^

Oh, I like them. Love the focus on the dance. It’s a totally different vibe than NCT and I wasn’t expecting that. I think it’s a really good vibe for Shotaro. More hip hop, a little less experimental. That’s good - it sets them apart from the other SM boy groups. I hope they keep the vibe because I like it.

I loooove everything about this video except the much less screentime of Sohee, Eunseok, and especially Anton (even crumbs of him is so hard to find) They'll probably be more prominent on their next pre-release which I believe will feature more of their vocals. Just my guess! But dang, WONBIN is a beast! He will probably be the center of RIIZE, his dancing, charisma, stage presence. My bias is definitely Sungchan! Good looking, I love his flow when rap, his singing voice shocked me the most (in a good way ofc), and his dancing skills improve so much (probably thanks to Shotaro and obviously his hardwork)! I've never changed my bias, but I may add 1 more. Since we've got 3 other members that I know nothing about, I will see. But I stan them already and I'm ready for their debut!!

I believe SM really wanted to debuted a "perfect" group again after DBSK. All members are visuals, musically talented, and have great performance skill. Hope they will grow as big or even bigger than TVXQ ☺️
