oh also, there’s this small point in the first part of the choreo of MyMy!! In the beginning when Joshua is singing his line, you can see the choreography of the other members which they look like they are walking in the rain with umbrellas, while Joshua is walking in the rain without an umbrella in his hands because his hands are in his pockets. Then Jun comes to sing his line “cloud become umbrellas of sunlight, oh i’m not alone” he approaches Joshua and offers his umbrella to him!! Their choreographies have so much meaning even if they are just small tiny points they have so much meaning to them!! ❤️

5:45 - they play traditional(?) korean games called ‘i am ground/frypan’ and ‘007 bbang’ - theyre basically games that you’d do a lot camping or on a retreat, basically showing their youth, which is the whole theme of the album

The part where they are all sitting in a circle is an imagery of them at a campfire and enjoying themselves, while playing games.

I don’t think u noticed but they used a part of the choreography for Fallin Flower. It was the hand movement at DK’s first part but it was backwards bc the lyrics mention something about blossoming. They also used choreography from their song “Our Dawn is Hotter than Day”. Also during the bridge they’re playing a game. I hope u react to Very Nice next bc that song is ICONIC.

There's a whole heap of references from their previous albums and choreos, they basically wanted to show that their music is a continuity. MyMy is a message of their youth and fearless is the next step to fear where they come out of their scared state and face the world. Also Seventeen clearly showed they have the best imagery hands down, they portrayed a boat, the waves, a campfire, and had references to old choreos like Falling flower, Our night is hotter than day ( and fear in fearless )and also to their lyrics in the choreo like the intro where joshua is the only one without an umbrella but jun comes to him saying " clouds become an umbrella to sunlight oh i am not alone " and covers josh with his umbrella.

8:26 when Jeff said "Like Ocean Waves" I remembered Vernon line in Still Lonely and started singing "geunyang honjaseo gyejeol taneun geonji"~~ 🎶🎶

During the live performance of this song we could see their big and genuine smiles, they had FUN. I think the whole fandom realized that they were shining more than ever. 🤧💕 The choreography was not as complex as some others but we don't change those smiles on their faces for nothing.

I just wanted to point at 1:21, The choreo actually represents ppl holding umbrellas while walking on the street, all except for josh. Then while singing “clouds become the umbrella for the sunshine, oh im not alone” jun offers joshua his umbrella

here in 5:11 they're representing a campfire! there's seungcheol at the middle along with other members to represent the fire and there's the others circled around them playing games like what they do during camps! :))

Thanks for the reaction! For me, overtime, I don’t focus on difficulty in SVT’s choreo anymore. I think they already showed us that they can do hard choreo. What I find to be the most beautiful about SVT’s choreo are the emotions they evoked in me. I don’t just feel hyped or excited or just that “wow” feeling, but I also feel heartfluttering (pretty U), sadness (DWC), sentimental and proud (Thanks), even their side tracks evokes these emotions, Lonliness (247), darkness and fear (Falling Down), etc. Just as a viewer, I grew more appreciative of dance by watching how SVT dance. They don’t just match beats or have the same take on their songs or try to make their choreo the hardest they can, but they truly interpret their songs through their dance. And what I really appreciate about them is that they’re not afraid or ashamed to do “easy” choreo. And they do it so well. If you watched their slower “easier” choreo, you’ll see that they love to incorporate stories into their performances, just like a musical. For example, Without You and Our Dawn is Hotter Than Day. In the case of My My, SVT is once back at it with the beautiful imagery and story telling. They used their members so effectively to tell their stories. They formed umbrellas (like what the lyrics said), boats, waves, sea, and even a campfire. What I love about that campfire scene at the end is that the members surrounded Scoups and the center members (fire) while they played games (the frying pan game). It doesn’t seem out of place and it fits perfectly to SVT’s energy and message of Henggarae. There is joy and happiness in it. That lead onto another thing I appreciate about SVT’s performances-the natural love and interactions they have on stage. Each member interacts with one another and you can feel the genuine closeness and intimacy they have as a group. It doesn’t feel forced or cringey. If anyone follows SVT and watch their Going SEVENTEEN series, they can definitely feel the playfulness that SVT have off stage which transcend to their performances on stage, especially during My My. It feels so natural and very “SVT”.

Yay! I clicked on the video immediately when I got the notification! When the choreography video came out, first I had to watch it, and then second I thought of you finally making a reaction to it. I just absolutely love this song. Woozi’s vocals are always tugging at my heartstrings. Also, I didn’t hear you mention it, if you didn’t notice, at the bridge of the song when they’re all sitting down, the members in the middle represent a campfire. They’re fingers are like sparks and S.coups arms are moving like fire. When I heard the bridge for the first time listening to the song, I wanted to cry. Those harmonies and chords are beautiful. No words describe my feelings for the art of Woozi’s composition skills. He’s very talented.🥺😭 As you can probably tell, my bias is Woozi. 😂

The fact that they’re in a boat but in the sky is because they’re high in the air at this moment (like they’re popular at this time) , so now they’re moving forward to become better than before rather than to chase popularity. They use boat because boat can only move forward and not up. In one of their mini album Going Seventeen, the album photoshoot showed that they were building a boat. At that period, i think Seventeen already gained what they want which is probably recognition from the society. So now they’re moving forward to become the better version of themselves for their fans. TBH, I found this somewhere. Please don’t mad at me if you found something different. Thank you😁😁😁

It is called the helm but can look like a wheel on a boat :) there is also a rudder which can also be the helm but that looks more like a stick and you only have on of them on the boat so either you control with a wheel or a rudder :)... hope it made sense I had to translate them from my native language xD
