anitta is REALLY big in Brazil if you ask on the streets everyone knows her, she has been in the music industry for a long time, her main sound/beat was brazilian funk (which is the one that started playing when she started to singing here) it has a very catchy sound. i really like her old songs when she used to singing in portuguese but now she is focused on her international carrer so she mainly sings in spanish and english

This song is soooo good, this is what I hoped a more mature/grown up txt would be like and they're serving it's insane ! Never would I imagine that they'd be doing a feat with Anitta but I'm so glad they did because she was amazing !!

TXT and Anita was an unlikely combination that worked very well. The interaction between them was really cool. The music is good and the kpop with funk was great.

This song is made by a genius like Ryan Tedder from OneRepublic who collaborated with Beyoncé, Taylor Swift, Maroon 5 and so on. Like you said, the sound and the choreography are really TxT, but they also remind 2nd or 3rd gen in Kpop. Someone said they chose to perform at Vmas a westernized song instead of a song that represented kpop, but it's not true because they really showed how good kpop is.

I think it was a brilliant move to have a collab with THE Queen of Brazilian music. On Spotify, the "performance" version is 40 seconds longer. Apparently they are dropping additional versions next week.

Instrumentation that you mentioned when Anitta's part started is called Funk. This beat originates from Brazil, and is the rhythm that Anitta sings at the beginning of her career. She was going through other rhythms, after changing record labels (Now she is on Republic records) they gave her full approval to sing what she wanted most, the rhythm she grew up singing. Her dream is for this rhythm (FUNK) to be recognized worldwide, and not just in Brazil. And you are already reaping the fruits of it!💜

I thought this collaboration was incredible because both TXT and Anitta maintained their identities, and their rhythms (kpop and Brazilian funk) combined very well. It all sounded very natural. It's been a long time since I've seen such a well done and balanced feat.

Anitta and TXT complimented each other in this performance. It really made an impact on VMAs. I'm glad TXT and Anitta were both embraced by non-MOAS and non-Anitters. There was such a commotion on X/TWT after their performance. Everybody was going.. "Like..who are they?!" Kudos to the choreographer, producer and of course our tubatu and Anitta. Job well done. Yes all the choreo is heavily MJ inspired. They even did the iconic lean from Smooth Criminal, the leg kick w crotch grab at the beginning, the hat tilt in the chorus... the more you watch the more you'll notice. They did MJ proud for sure.

I saw someone on socials say how it was well thought out on BH's part to release this during the VMAs bc it is very MJ and directed towards the American audience with it being English. Everyone in America knows and loves Michael. That immediately makes everyone stand up and notice TXT. Being in English of course helped. They're not "just another kpop group singing some Korean song that I can't understand". That would be why they didn't release this song earlier in the year but instead went with Do It Like That for the "summer track". That was also English but let's be real... Jonas Bros aren't MJ. Also, you aren't alone in your disappointment with how little camera time Soobin got on this track. Not sure if you saw but many MOA were/are very upset about how little parts of the song Soobin got and how little he was showcased. I'm part of the MOA mindset that TXT is a group and while I agree that BFM seemed to showcase Taehyun and Kai more, that doesn't mean that other songs coming up on the album won't showcase the other members more. To me, BH doesn't have favorites with TXT. Everyone gets their fair amount of time bc they're all visuals and they're all very talented. I also believe that Soobin would say something himself if he felt he wasn't getting a fair deal. I also believe the other guys would look out for him (and each other) if any of them felt something wasn't fair. Sure "TXT only has MOA" but TXT also has TXT and Taehyun is the biggest MOA of us all! lol

Jeff lowkey loosing his mind over the amount of crotch grab moves was hilarious, and FRRRR this whole pre-release project was HEAVY with MJ references, makes me suuper curious for the title track! Anitta is truly sooo gorgeous and SEXY, i've been listening to Back For More so many times and ive become so obsessed with her part.

Love this! It's so good. TXT are great dancers and love this beat. I used to have a dance studio in the 80's and taught dance. I discovered KPop 3 years ago and so happy to see the way dance and music has evolved. Today's artist are so sophisticated and talented. I just came across a couple of videos by Jungle "Back on 74" and "Dominoes". I haven't been this excited about dance in a long time. The vocals and dance on "Back on 74" is so so good. Such a vibe, very New York. I am addicted. I love your reactions. My favorite dancers are Taemin, Kai and Ten. I am 69 and loving all the content in KPop. It makes me want to dance again. My training was in jazz (Fosse) ballet, flamenco. I love those elegant lines that Taemin and Kai have. Their dancing puts you in a trance. Ten is amazing!

She's the queen of Brazil as far as I know. Her songs mostly have brazilian funk (that tum tum tum-tum sound).I'm from Chile and she's really famous, i know her from the major lazer collab with Pablo Vittar "sua cara". She's singing in Spanish here, but i think she can sing in a thousand languages including portuguese obviously. I mean, if you have Anitta you can get the whole Brazilian audience, which is a lot by itself, Latam, Spain and Portugal plus the kpop fans.
