I am an actor and content creator with Hollywood credits including roles on Lucifer (Netflix), Starlight Christmas (Hallmark), JT Leroy (Universal Studios), etc. In this channel, I offer insight to Kpop performances using my 10+ years of training in dance, acting, singing and overall performance. In dance, my forte are contemporary and musicals and have done most of my performances in theatre. Although my channel is mostly known for dance analysis, I am currently inactive in the dance community.

I'm so glad you said that and that so many people seemed to think the same thing cause when it came out I never felt a massive massive hype from moas and, tbh, the first time I watched it I was like eh? fun, but eh, but I watched it over and over and it's probably my favourite comeback now, I'm so in love (sorry run away) and it really truly is a masterpiece. There's just some irresistible magic about it, but also somehow massive power and artistry amongst the brightness of it. As I already said, I'm deeply in love, just as y'all seem to be too 😂🥺 Even after 2 months, Blue Hour and it's era still doesn't feel real, it's like a dream, a euphoric dream.

yeonjun always goes big and strong and powerful, with clean lines and a lot of exaggeration. i think he's one of the most powerful dancers in kpop today, easily.

tbh even if beomgyu doesn't have as much center time here, i really feel like he makes the most of what he has. his bridge solo was probably my favorite solo moment of the whole song and he always manages to catch my eye even when he's not in the center. i honestly never noticed he didn't have as much bc i feel like i always can see him very clearly

They also belong to the Big Hit labels together with BTS, TXT, SVT, ENHYPEN, Nu'est! They recently had their comeback called MAGO! TxT, from the very beginning, became known for its clean and precise dance moves. The hat choreography towards the end is just amazing to me. It looks simple, but working with a prop takes so much practice to make it look that easy to do.

Yes the costume changes haha! I’ve worked on tech crew for the management of costumes and quick changes for theater productions and it just needs to be fast even for just a few layers. I think it’s nice to see this type of stuff in performances!

Again, really great insight on this choreo! In particular the part about the footwork during yeonjun's part. I never really appreciated how he gives off a sense of strong motion with his entire body... my eyes tend to follow him, almost expecting him to hop off into a certain direction but his feet stay exactly where they are. Little things like that really makes me appreciate the effort and attention to detail in each of their movements.

the intro of the choreography represents a clock. The Korean title for the song is “you and found in the sky at 5:53” and its at 5:53 pm which is blue hour in Korea 😁

It's very cool how you saw the beginning as a T turning to an X, kinda. I've always seen it like marking the hour 5:53, related to the korean title of the song, "5시 53분의 하늘에서 발견한 너와 나", that can be translated like "you and i found in the sky at 5:53" or similar.

The choreo in the beginning is meant to look like a clock. As you can see they have it count to 5:53 then yeonjun turns it back and then stops it. That I think has a lot to do with the txt universe and the possible time travel abilities they posses!!!

I think the beginning pose is a clock with Soobin pointing at 5 and Beomgyu pointing at 53 because the Korean title of Blue hour is 'You and I Found in the Sky at 5:53'

I'm wouldn't call myself a txt fan, I'm a casual listener but I totally fell in love with this song, it has a really cheerful energy. I don't remember if you've reacted to Xia before but he just made a comeback with Pit-a-pat yesterday. The mv and dance practice are out. He debuted with DBSK/TVXQ and after he left the group with two other members he's been promoting with JYJ, acting in musicals and doing solo music. He's in my opinion one of the most well rounded performers in kpop. He has an amazing voice and his dancing skills are on point. I would love to see your reaction~

they have a choreo that changes each chorus and it's insane. the song is drama and i think they have said it was their hardest at that point. so in your free time or whenever (no rush) you should check it out. oh and also the move that you said at 3:47 was from crown their debut song :)

It seems to me that, in spite of the vast pool of talent and hard work in KPop, few bands achieve the precision of BigHit choreo, which is a shame. They seem to present great choreo because camera work seldom shows the full picture, moving into close-up before certain moves so that we never really see how they are executed. Dance practice videos let us see what that camera work disguises and I am always pleased when it is as good as BigHit routinely offers. The only band I have seen with similar standards would be Stray Kidz, who exhibit similar precision and invention. That is why I watch dance practices!
