Although I wasn't on site, it would appear that the Blower Door test was conducted improperly and the conclusion of the homes energy performance would be inaccurate using the information presented. Note at the 9:30 mark, showed the removal of the A ring from the Blower door and test conducted with no rings or in an open config. The test results at the 10:00 mark show the DG700 with the A1 in the config display - NOT OPEN as it should have been. The TEC blower door lowest flow in a open config would be 2,400CFM plus not 1,100 CFM. At the 9:00 min mark the DG700 showed 39.2 pa @50 with 3,000CFM. This would be the approximate CFM for the house tested not the stated 1,100CFM. Also No baseline was imputed into the DG700. At no time was the ADJ. displayed in the A channel window. Depending on weather conditions and other factors that could also have effected the test results as well. The duck leakage was measured at 175CFM to the outside. Depending on the size of the system, sq footage of home and whether the leakage is on supply or returns and location of duct runs this is could be significance problem to the homeowners operational costs, comfort and health and safety and would not meet code in many states.
