Lovely video. Just one thing I want to add: EDT’s are not always weaker in terms of the longevity. Two great examples are “For Her” by Narciso (the black bottle) and “Alien” by Thierry Mugler in the edt versions. They both last longer than most EdP’s I own. It often truly depends on the scent itself.
I fell in love with Jo Malone last year. I discovered Pear and Freesia at Sephora and had to have it lol its one of my favorites. Then i found English Oak and Hazelnut & Earl Grey and Cucumber and those have been my gotos for a while. Im male so these scents lean more masculine imo.
@@MariaJBlogs right?? They only have a select few at Sephora but I was lucky to find a Jo Malone boutique in Nordstrom and I went crazy smelling everything 😂😂😂
Great collection! I am just getting into perfumes and have only tried some samples so far. I really like YSL black opium, but I agree it’s better for night. Do you have one that you recommend for every day (if you could only have one in your collection)?
Thank you so much! If you like black opium you must have similar taste to me! For everyday the ones I like in my collection are the Bulgari omnia, jo Malone Peony and blush suede and the clean reserve one! X
Hi Maria, I’m trying to get my girlfriend a new perfume for Christmas however I’m currently struggling. She loves Jo Malone wild Berry and also the nectarine blossom and honey, she likes to layer these fragrances. I’ve just checked and she still has a lot left so I don’t want to buy her the same perfumes, just so it sits there. Have you got any perfume in mind that she would like, basing it off they 2 fragrances. Her work perfume is dolce and gabbana light blue however she always refers to that as just cheap perfume and she’s only started wearing that because it reminds her of her child hood. She’s 25 and can be really picky. Your help would be much obliged because I’m struggling so much. Many thanks.
Hey! Aww that's so nice! If she likes YSL Libre & light blue I think she has a slightly lighter / less sweet preference to me. I think your best bet is to go into a perfume store and ask their advice, or I think Jo Malone online could advise you on another scent that would layer well with the ones she already has, because their fragrances are meant to be layered! x
@@MariaJBlogs Perfect Maria, she’s at work the now and I’ve got at least 10 tabs opened with what perfume to get her 😂 I was going to go down the road of make-up but that’s a totally different mine field. Anyway thank you very much for your help/advice, have a good Christmas.
Ohhhhh what a shame! It is very light, one to be layered definitely! I used to work on the perfume counter and they always recommended stronger scents for older noses haha! X
