I slowed down with fragrance buying too, I don’t think I added anything for a few months, oh yes on my summer travels to Europe I bought Chanel n19 and Armani prive blue lazuli and dyptique 34 bulv, but that’s it. Trying to use what I have and got rid off lots too. Good to see you back! 🙂

I recently bought Bodacious & Rosendo #5, Virgin Island Water, Tardes, and I’m happy with everything I have, I’m going in a low buy myself, to use up fragrances that I already have!

I would love to hear your thoughts on the Sarah Baker and Rogue sets. Rogue overwhelms me with all of their offerings, but I’m curious about them at the same time.

I went ahead and ordered a sample of sunessence, used to not care about melon, this summer I went crazy for it and banana:) I could not get even the new B. Spears one to sample. The funny thing is that I am going through covid, that took my sense of smell away, but with my consistent nose training I am so confident it will be back in no time that I just bought it. Meanwhile, I am a bit envy of your sniffing :)))

Missed you! CELINE is gorgeous...I have Black Tie, Night Clubbing and St Germain Des Pres but I love them all. So under rated, I didn't realize they had a price hike too. Dans Paris and La Peau Nu didn't show on my skin. The whole collection is divine. I'm so curious about Bois Dormant, it was announced in 2019!

I don't even consider getting a full bottle of any perfume until I've finished a travel size. They have a lot of perfume in there and often by the time I'm finished I'm kind of over the scent.

I loooove discovery sets. Admittedly they are enough to quench my thirst for new discoveries (I was looking for a specific sample yesterday and realised how many fragrances and samples I actually own … which completely overwhelmed me; it’s a blessing and a curse that my fragrances are just tucked away in different cabinets, drawers etc., so that I don’t really see them). I guess I will be just watching fragrance hauls from now on 😂, and I am definitely looking forward to watching your first impressions on the discovery sets.

Hello Tara, I would love to see videos on Rogue and Sarah Baker. I have been loving the indie perfumer's use of naturals in their fragrances and the old school styles of perfumery. I have been adding lots of Papillon into my collection lately. So those houses have me curious about their fragrances now. - Jenn

Mmmmmmm....watermelon jollyranchers 🤤 I'd love to see a livestream on that Les Bains Guerbois set Tara. 💛 Jerome Epinette's 1900 and Almairac's 2015 look promising. The bottles actually remind me of a mix of Guerlain and Rochas. 😄

I feel you about not liking watermelon or any melon in fragrances. Also pear! I would love to hear your thoughts on those discovery sets. I recently purchased travel sizes of lilac love and psychedelic love...both are stunning. Cashmere mist from Donna Karan and La vie est belle intensement...both stunning, as well.

What a nice surprise to see a new video from you! I'm so so interested in pretty much all but two fragrances from Maison de Darius, but really bummed to see samples aren't offered. I can't justify blind buying at the moment, but I'll cross my fingers that samples are offered in the future at some point lol.

I thought Alien Goddess and the new Intense version are by the same noses; hence why I didn't even consider the new one because, like you, I'm not a fan of Goddess. But if you say that the newbie retains the original DNA, then I'll give it a try.

Is it safe to say most of the line from Celine is a theme on vanilla and iris?

I haven't smelled them all, but based on the ones I have tried they all seem to have touches of iris and vanilla running through them.
