Do not look at the analytics and compare yourself!! It breaks my heart that we would take those things to heart. What other people are doing is NONE of our business. Commenting, not Commenting, watching, not watching. Literally is none of our business because we dont know their reasoning. As a viewer theres nothing that stands out more to me than seeing people be inauthentic. Some of us are just never going to fit in to this cookie cutter space and that's for the best! I myself I do not relate to those people and I don't follow them. 🤷 No one is you and that is your super POWER! We come here for YOU! The you that shares and is silly! We love being entertained but also you do NOT owe us that. You don't have to perform for us. Unless you WANT to. Okay. Release your assumptions about your viewers, because they are your assumptions. They are coming from your ego and stopping you from being the best version of yourself. I am a viewer and I speak for us, we want the skits, the real you, the silliness, ALL of it. Okay love you bye.

Yay! Two of my favorites doing a collaboration. I regret not learning that blind buying is more often than not, wasteful. Once I truly accepted that, I started buying samples or just using what I had and loved.

Buying samples seems wasteful, too, but in the long run, you actually save money. Well, I have, anyway. That's why I love Oil Prefumery - it's never wasteful. Sheeesh! I talk about them way too much. I regret the time that I missed getting a bottle of Angels’ Share for $50 when I had the chance. Sigh. I hadn’t tried it at that time & didn’t realize how much I love it. I also didn’t realize how much I could sell it for if I hadn’t liked it.

I just watched Carmen's video and came straight here… you two are both amazing! I was telling Carmen that I have the topic of perfume regrets in my list of video ideas, omg why do we all have so many regrets?? We all do seem to, so I guess it must be a normal human thing, right?! 🤷🏻♀️ 😂 I am right there with you on over analyzing the analytics, views, and so many other things. If there is a person alive who doesn't care about their views at all, I want to meet them because they have ascended to a higher level of spirituality than I could ever attain! It's literally human nature to care about how something that you've created is received, and I actually don't think there's anything wrong with caring and wanting it to do well. I was definitely relating to so many things you were saying! I have done 2 skit videos lately, (the funny perfume news) where I play four different characters on the "news show". When I tell you it actually took so much courage to post those! I felt like it was weird or too silly, and no they didn't perform the best even though I think they are hilarious! But I'm still glad I posted them and I want to see all of your skits! I know where you are coming from, but try not to worry and regret too much about the ones you already deleted! Second of all, I had to laugh when you mentioned Aoud Orchid, because in one of my videos, I think it was overhyped fragrance samples I was testing, I was talking about that one and when I said Aoud I howled like a wolf to pronounce it ..Aouuuuuuud! 😂😂😂

Hey girl, hey. I love your quirky skits and unique ideas. Not everyone has the same sense of humor and that's okay, right? But, not gonna lie, it would hurt my feelings a bit, too. I guess my only real regret is buying cheapies because I just want to buy something new. It's dumb. Thankfully, I know that about myself now and when I get that feeling I just go through my samples and always find something better that I've forgotten about and that fixes my "I want something new" feeling. Samples are a GREAT fix for that. So are Oil Perfumery. I know that you know that they don't know who I am, and never will, but when I want something new I usually browse their site to see what they've got - it's inexpensive, it gives you good idea of what the actual scent might be like, and it's versatile insofar as if you don't like it on yourself, you can use it in your home. Oh, Khaltat Night. I can force myself to do lots of stupid things, but not that. Cherry in general, really. And Instant Crush, although I haven't tried it, is supposed to smell a lot like BR540, which I already have, and, to be honest, didn't like for the longest time. We have similar regrets!
This video was so timely for me. I was chatting with a much younger coworker today and told him that I made a TON of really stupid decisions when I was younger but they aren’t regrets because I learned. I wouldn’t be where I am today without the good and the bad. 😊 I love your perfume content, but ultimately you should do the content that fulfills you. It will find the right people. Best wishes! ❤

Omg I’ve been away for a couple of weeks recovering from surgery so I’m just seeing this video and I’m so happy! Please try real hard to ignore those freaking numbers and just continue to share what makes you and those of us who enjoy all of the goody, offbeat, and realness that makes me proud to be your scent sister!❤❤❤ Life has enough challenges and I love this little community that takes me away from it. The only regret I have this far has been Fragrance DuBois Santal Complet. I’ve given up blind buying and now do samples and decants. My wallet was happy too. 😂

You’re looking more and more beautiful by the day. As I write now I don’t have any regrets when it comes to fragrances. When I find myself with a failed blind buy what I do mostly is to use them as home spray which make my home always smelling like something lol. .I agree with you a regret is only a regret until you learn something 😘

Khaltat Night is one that on the surface is delicious but there's something im not sure about too. I have plenty of regrets. Angel muse is a rare wear for me. It has to be very cold and i have to be outside 😂 I agree with you about analytics. I said in that interview with Jon how it just encourages generic content and ultimately can make you feel like you are just chasing your tale for the big numbers after a hit. It's hard to ignore them though...

Hi Ann! We like what we like, and there's no reason to regret liking it. Lost Cherry is the only cherry fragrance I have ever even remotely liked. It's not like the others, and I would imagine that the dupe you have must be lovely if you overspray it. Which others do you have? Have you tried Cherry Punk? I hear a lot about that one?
I don't regret La Belle, but I do regret Givenchy Irresistible and DK Cashmere Mist (for starters). I also found JLo Live and Lolita Lempicka on the SDM $22 shelf yesterday and I am fighting with myself not to but them because they would be blind buys and thus, yes, all my GD fault. Have I learned from my mistakes? Doesn't look good. Either way, I love your videos, in whatever form they may come, and hope they keep coming.
Hi! (Morgan?) I remember when Irresistible came out; I smelled it on a card in a magazine and thought it was the bees knees, but then I never really cared for it on me. DK Cashmere mist is NOT for me, either. That SDM shelf is the bane of my existence! They have Lou Lou and Escape at mine, and I WANT THEM, but I would never wear them. I don't need fragrances that only remind me of the poor decisions I made as a young wart hog! You're so sweet. I'm so glad you took the time to hang out with me and to share your regerts!

All BBs, so my own GD fault: Mugler Innocent (wtf is happening here😵💫?); Gucci Guilty EDT (is this water?🫥); Gucci Flora EDT (not again, water🫥?); Ameer Al Oudh Intense Oud (smoke me TH out, why don’t you💨🔥?); and lastly, Mercedes Benz Club Black - which I’ve gifted to ALL the men in my direct family (and only afterward I found it to be totally gag worthy!🤢) & they apparently LOVE OVERSPRAYING IT!! I had to have the Mugler Innocent bc a little bit of me felt it could be a lighter version of Angel & I had to see… and I have a lot of Mugler (so tempted by completionistic impulse also). Not gonna sell it yet… I like the bottle. The other watery ones? Probably will be my first scents to sell, if and when I ever figure out how best to do so. The Mercedes. Well, way back when, it smelled good at first spray… it wasnt until my son oversprayed it and then I rode in the car with him for hours. It will never again be acceptable to me. Scent, the journey. The lessons. The fabulous people!! ❤❤❤

Of the bbs you mention, I've only smelled the Oudh one (smoke me the hell out, too!) and MB Club Black. I own the latter, and (as you might have already guessed) I hate it. And I wear it. Like, i wear it often considering how much I hate it. Overspraying that should be punishable by drawing and quartering!

(Sighhhh)😜 And, I blame you and your regret ‘that you wear fragrances you don’t like’ for my wearing of Innocent (yes, I did it bc I’m a dork) yesterday… Sprayed it, thought 💭”still don’t know about this one.” Then, couple hours later, caught whiff of something kinda nice under my chin - low & behold its linear, sharp, floral notes had morphed into a soft, sweet cocoa-ish scent. SO THANK YOU - I’m quite shockingly & pleasantly surprised by the experience, & I owe it to you & your regrets! Dude! i'm so glad you're liking your Innocent! Full disclosure: I wore Angel Muse yesterday (because I'm a dork), and...I'm warming up to it. One of Carmen's regrets is that she gives fragrances too many chances, and that's actually one of my...erm...non-regrets if there's such a thing (which there isn't). Although it's painful (so dramatic!) during the wears, it becomes easier and then pleasurable. Still waiting for that to happen with others I can't quit.
