Aaron, I tried to review your fragrances on your website. I couldn't find a spot to place one. Your fragrances are amazing. They last forever, pretty much till you wash them off. That being said. I lost my wife to cancer. I was lost for months after that. I then fo7nd you on this channel. You are so passionate and such a wonderful and genuine person. I know it sounds weird to say but you and your fragrances helped me through the terrible time.
So sorry for your loss. Fragrance has helped me too with personal loss. It is very comforting to share this hobby with others. The fragrance community is about enjoying fragrances together and I hope your journey brings you even more happiness brother. Cheers.
Keep more Aaron content coming. We love it! Maybe his preferences have changed? How about doing another updated video on your favourite niche fragrances?? Updated versions of the already made videoes. I mean there are SO many fragrance options and different possible videoes to make. Naxos, Alexandria 2, Elysium, Hacivat, Herod, Carlisle, Layton, Grand Soir, Reflection Man, Jubilation Man. And making him smell them blind is really what does it! Keep them coming!
ATH, you've already reviewed Wanted by Night and you really liked it. Surprised you don't remember, given the unique bottle design and quality of the scent.
Surprised about Aaron's reaction to DHI, given that it was one of the few 10's for him in his own video reviews. This aspect that he does not like in it was not mentioned in his own video (as far as I can remember, will double check.) I'm guessing this might be because of smelling it on the paper strip and not on skin, as it was the case with Spicebomb.
@@AnwarEissawe Ah didn't know this, makes sense. Consistent with what I remember from other reviewers saying they liked the newer DHI better than the original.
@@raulsaavedra709 The newer batches of DHI are a bit fresher and more versatile, there's a noticeable difference between lets say a 2014 batch and a 2021 batch which Aaron might have. So I don't blame him at all for not recognizing it *Also the bottle looks different from newer batches
Hi bro, thx for inviting aron again, hope next vedio about fragrance du Bois fragrances plzzzz😊 with aron, I want to know his impression 🙏, if its possible I will be so happy
I dont know how you guys relationship are with Jeremy Fragrance, but I would love to see you two with him in a video. I love the way this guy describe these fragrances. Very powerful.
At 16:45 Aaron says he has never worn it, when in fact he has reviewed it on his channel and one of the only fragrances he gave a 10/10 saying there is nothing he would improve upon it here: ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-guBACiqOfyU.html Similarly for Oud Wood, he gave it a 7/10 in his review here: ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-RtxoNKfF8q8.html Shows just how subjective these reviews and ratings can be.
I consider the TF Private blend niche perfumery. If you look up the definition of niche, it is most certainly a niche category in the fragrance market.
I watch Aaron's channel he's bloody good at picking up every single note and araroma chemical in a fragrance, I guess it's a skill a perfumer has but it's difficult for the average guy who loves fragrances like me to comprehend how he can do that, I can pick up some basic stuff like this is fresh and blue style and that is woody and this other has leather and this is darker this is sweet this is musky this is fresh etc but no way can i identify a aroma chemical that makes a fragrance push out or makes a fragrance stable or a fixative that latches onto the skin or how a fragrance will dry down and how it will last etc, its fascinating to see him doing this and its also good in a informative way giving us an idea of what we are going to get before spending our money on a fragrance 👍 top man Aaron and great video
I am slightly confused... In June 2021, Aaron reviewed Dior Homme Intense on his own channel, marked it a 10/10, and said he loved it and would not do anything to improve it.... so why now has he given a completely different review on it????
Yeah I also noticed this because he super loved it in his own video. I've also never smelled licorice in DHI but I HAVE smelled it in Sausage Elixir (and hated it)
these paper tests must really give that much of a different reaction, ATH says in his own reviews of Dior Homme Intense and Spicebomb extreme that he absolutely loves them haha and here there are parts that he really doesn't like, its quite interesting how much of a difference a fragrance makes on skin
I reacted to the same thing. Aaron absolutely loved Homme intense when he reviewed it on skin. I have stopped taking paper testing seriously. The difference between paper and my own skin can be huge.
Chris and Aaron... Fantastic video. Aaron... You have an amazing nose... Fantastic judge on notes. Kudos to you... I wish I could try out your fragrances someday. ✌
Great video, and of course a smashing list! For whatever reason, I've never smelled Wanted by Night but have always intended to. All the others are loves for me.
Dear Sir, please oblige us with a pop-culture reference thing. I'm thinking like netflix/bbc character list. Say, what would Sir Thomas Shelby wear. It'd surely be an interesting video to watch. Love from India 🇮🇳
@@MikailStoner I became very spoiled early in life, spending a lot of time in Europe and the Middle East, I’ve owned and smelled very high end niche fragrances that you won’t find in most department stores. It’s like a person who drinks good wine and then someone tries to serve them something out of a box
Hmmmm. When Aaron made a review of Dior Homme Intense alone he gave it a 10/10! And there was nothing he didn’t liked about it and to him he really really liked it. Perfect made etc. and he really liked to wear it for him self. But okay so it is. Never listen to much to You Tube reviews
Spice Bomb Extreme...b/c Aaron couldn't get a good impression on the dry down, you should have had him turn away and spray it on his arm and rate it without seeing what it was. So it could be somewhat consistent to how he rated the others. It didn't seem fair for him to see the make and model first b4 that rating. Nevertheless, Aaron's expertise was enlightening..Since he rated these scents, I'll rate this video 8.5/10.👍
Man my friends swear I’m on something when I be breaking down fragrances. They’re like “man I just want to know what smells good and what doesn’t-wtf is a vetiver acetate?!” Haha 😂 Thanks Aaron
I loved the whole video. The one thing I really want to note is that I have the same exact feeling about Dior Homme Intense. I want to love it so bad. The base is so great, but that one piercing note is so off-putting and I can’t get past it. Sad.
I wanted to say a massive difference between strip and skin but I think at least a good amount of difference when trying to pick up notes blindly and assess it.
Are ath fragrances sold at any stores? I’d much prefer to smell them before buying. I know I could start with a decant, but smelling at a store is more convenient.
Hey Frag, what fragrances would be good for a man over 50? I want to get a nice fragrance for my dad, his birthday is in May. I want something well suited for Spring and Summer
Bleu de Chanel is beautiful but not much of a projector. The EDP is equally beautiful and THAT projects and lasts. I think a man could have Chanel: Bleu de Chanel EDP and Dolce & Gabbana: The One EDP and be set for all year and all occasions. The BDC can be worn year round and in every occasion. The One is a fantastic one to wear at night on a date or just a night out on the town. Great 1-2 combo for people who don't want to go nuts on buying fragrances, but still want to smell great at all times/occasions. IF I had to go down to just two fragrances, it would be those two.
lots of unanswered things here...I guess Aaron knows which perfumes he reviews, because its beyond me that couple of these are sooooo recognizable, you just couldn't miss it..even as a decent wearer, let alone as a fragrance designer...not judgeing just trying to understand the logic of it all...
@@FRAGMENTAL 🤣 Chris!! I was meaning more will it lead to it going off over time or anything like that, since it may not be so ‘sealed’. I’m guessing no. A great fragrance!
