After trying Duro, Pardon and Black Afgano I blind bought it and it instantly became my favourite of the house, and one of most used scents on daily basis
I love your nasomatto reviews! It's great to hear you get a lot of naturals in there since so many people complain nasomatto perfumes are synth bombs. I'd love to hear your take on Silver Musk
This is easily in my top 5. When I sampled its aroma against an actual glass of whisky, it blew my mind - I couldn't believe how realistic it was. I have not one, but two backups of this phenomenal gem of a fragrance.
Nasamatto has become one of my top 5 houses And they just keep raising the bar! Alessandro Gualtieri is a master perfumer who shows his artistry like no other. His fragrances are addictive, and quite unique! Thx Aaron
I’d love to see some reviews on Orto Parisi fragrances as these are from the same Parfumer of Nasomatto and some of these are super daring and have a massive projection. Megamare is absolute beast mode last on my skin for up to two days and on clothing for a month at least even after washing.
Just got my decant in today. Wow I’m pleasantly surprised. It’s so well done. I won’t be wearing it often but on those special occasions it’s going to be a banger.
As always, an awesome review! Bought this based on your review. If I’m after an insight to a fragrance and I’m unsure of, or a blind buy and tying to find if it’s going to be to my personal taste, and if I see you review it, then I’ll take your judgement on it, as your description and taste is phenomenal! I think we are very lucky to have someone like your good self that has the knowledge and experience and love of perfumery! Absolutely *love* your reviews! Mesmerising and captivating!
Aaron I love your new camera, it makes a big difference on your videos, now they are more awesome!!!!! We can see you a lot better and make a nicer connection!!!! Kudos man. As usual the best review of a perfume....period!!!!
OMG! this scent is AMAZING. based on watching your reviews I bought 4 from the house of nasamato - I keep telling myself i wont spend more money. but from none to 4 from this house now - notino seem to have some offers on £365 for all 4 so ive got black afghano, duro, pardon and baraonda. havent worn any of them. but just did one tiny spray of this today - it is super amazing. love the whisky note this is of the same quality as your work IMHO. i hope the other 3 are just as god as this one
Love your reviews , like me you seem to get high off the scents , only you explain the feelings as well as the technical aspects so so much better . Thank you , the work is very much appreciated
This is my favourite fragrance that I’ve tried that I wouldn’t consider a “everyday” fragrance. If I’m going somewhere at night this is my pick. I’ve said before though I prefer boozy stuff over Oud stuff (generally) this stuff for me a boozy lover is perfect. Sensational. The way Pardon impacted Aaron during his review that’s how Baraonda gets to me
Good morning Aaron from NC USA, great review on BARAONDA, I love the house of NASAMATTO, BTW just got in BLACK AFGANO by NASAMATTO and it's an awesome fragrance, keep em coming Brother, be safe and BLESSED. I must start researching your products and support your company
If you love the artistry of those houses, you should definitely review something from Xerjoff (my rec for your tastes would be Naxos). I would like to see more Roja Parfums too. Roja is arguably the greatest perfumer of all time, but some of his stuff can be prohibitively expensive because of the sheer amount of natural ingredients.
Roja has some great and unique scent, but it also has too many dare I say clones, especially clones of classic guerlain. Also the price is outrageous even though I got a small roja collection. The price is actually for the brand, packaging etc not the ingredients.
Gechu ZHAO I think that is the problem when you are taught by a french house. Your work will smell like that! It’s hard to break free of training and create!
DeepThinking I was informed his house used civet and castorium! Ethics is at the core of everything I do. Civet and castorium. Is so cruel! I can assure you, he is doing fine with out my reviews!
As you speak of how hard it is to get heavy compounds to stick to the skin AND project, I am currently wearing your Boss Bastard perfume that's accomplishing just that! You practice what you preach my friend.
Excellent and very informative review as always Aaron. I totally agree, Baraonda is an absolutely phenomenal fragrance and my favourite from Nasamatto! 👏 🦄
Loved your review. I love Baraonda, I think its very unique and fun to wear. My girlfriend also likes it a lot so that's a plus 👍😁 Keep the reviews coming
Massively unisex. I think this is an attitude fragrance. I cannot imagine someone just doing a blind buy. I think the person who choses this knows who they are through the art of perfumery. The person who choses this choses there identity. They dont follow the crowd. (I am like that). Do you are your girlfriend share the same fragrance. I think that is so lovely. I always hoped a couple would choose one of my ouds. (Onyx or Oxytocin) for this purpose. Id also love one of mine to be a wedding fragrance. That would make me very happy indeed. My passion and love being used at the greatest moment of love between two people.
I film these in real time with very little editing. Ive always tried to film these like your sitting with me watching me think. That way my viewers can start to understand perfumery and start to educate themselves to make better choices.
Aaron your reviews have really made me consider trying out Nasomatto fragrances. Btw I just ordered a ton of your fragrances from maxaroma. I’m so excited.
Ha ha I wore this out Friday night , this fragrance is absolutely stunning . No ever talks about the longevity on this one but out of the 4 I own this one last the longest . Great review m8 glad you got your hands on this one If I could only keep 5 fragrances this would be one of them
i looooooooove baraonde. first i had pardon and i thought nothing is going to beat that. than i tried black afgano and it blew me away. now i had a sample of baraonda and i can't wait to purchase a bottle
Superb review, ATH. I own this one and agree, it’s a 10. Would love to see you review Kutay by Unique’e Luxury. Similar DNA with some slight twists. Very opulent.
I was just thinking about getting one - get out of my head, Aaron :) This is regarded as the safer, more mass-appealing entry from the house, plus I love boozy scents done well.
You should read for Harry Potter books or the like. Cool voice, personality and energy. But on a serious note, good review, you helped me decide over the duro. I Appreciate you!
Really like your content especially when I'm an artist myself was looking forward to buying one of your creations but then saw how much shipping to the u.s was holy god. So maybe next time much success to you.
We have no control over the cost of shipping! I think £6 to the uk and £15 to the Eu is standard for a parcel. I think your used to large companies with millions of pounds with buying power. Please try to remember e are a tiny company doing our best! Thanks
Hi Aaron, firstly wanted to thank you for creating this channel, was very happy to know from Chris that u made it. You are an awesome source of information and very competent professional. I wanted to ask you few questions, i hope you will see this: 1)Can you recomend any literature/info sources for creating fragrances? i wanted to try it for a long time, and after finding you i decided that i have to try at least. But i dont know where to start 2)Probobly a silly question but still, i'm 30 y old male and noone tought me how to care about my skin. I watched youtube guides/internet articles but they are mostly for women. Those who talk about male skin care are very superficial and lack info. Could you tell me what is ur regular skin care? which products would you recomend? i know you make your own cosmetics, but maybe i could find something simmilar in my country and apply your knowledge. Again thank you for awesome content, i'm glad i found you! Cheers. And pardon me for my English.
Hi. There are books available. Put in perfume raw materials. Do some reasurch or watch the video I did called make a perfume with me and use that as a start. I want to do a skincare video. Il speak to video unicorn and ask if we can.
@@AaronTerenceHughes Thx mate, i'll be waiting for skincare video, and will check info you provided. Interesting tattoos tho, would be nice to see the story behind them
Love this fragrance, but why didn't you mentioned the strong ambroxan note? i get a very strong headache thats why i have to sell it now.. same with dior sauvage, just too much ambroxan for my head.
Aaron since you reviewing nasomatto what do you prefer the black Afgano or tabacco vanille I heard you love them both but if you had one option which one ?
I got a bottle of this when it first released. Literally as soon as it hot the shelf. Sprayed to tonight as it's been a while. And I am a fan of allesandros creations. They invoke mental visions and imaginations. Thought provoking. So baronda to my nose early in....I actually get quite a bit of some florals. Like a bouquet of yellow flowers like you would buy for mother's day or something.. Never really noticed that much before. It's well masked by the sweet boozy bourbon sugars and tobacco. There's almost a very urea type smell as well to me. Not like the pee upore thinking but like the pee that has sat for a whole and because crystalized. A strangely intimate visual...but.
I smelt Enigma at Chris. But I have learnt from a few of my viewers that he used Civet and Castorium. Ambergris is fine as it doesn't harm an animal. But Civet is horrid and I refuse to review a house that uses it. Art before profit always. Thats why I will never export to China or use those raw materials
@@BlokeBritish Bentley for Men Intense smells a bit thicker and more dense to me. The booziness for Bentley smells a bit more synthetic whereas Baroanda is much more well-blended and natural/realistic. I see what you're saying, they're used in similar occasions, but I just feel Baroanda is in a league above the rest.
@@mattmartin8981 yes thanks thats what i wanted to know. im done with the regular synthetics and im looking for a boozy masculine good quality scent. i think i'll go for this 1. ive tried a few other good ones earlier too but the only thing is that the proper boozy vibe lasts only for a while at the start. i hope this has reasonable booze throughout
@@BlokeBritish Exactly, we're on the same page I think! Baroanda will likely not disappoint you, it smells of booze almost throughout the entirety of the 'wear.' I get awesome performance on my skin too. I'm literally wearing it right now as I type. I thought I'd reserve it for the winter but it actually works amazingly well in the heat! In the summer, I sometimes (like right now) mix it with just the smallest spritz of Tygar and so it smells like a grapefruit cocktail on my skin!
Well I need to try this one now. I've got an off topic question for you. Since you work with perfumes all the time can you even wear them while working? How often you wear fragrances overall?
Because I work non stop in my factory. If I ware fragrance my brain starts working. So on a day off I actually ware nothing. How I develop them is on my skin and on my staff skin. So its sort of part of the job to be a test subject. Its one of the things I say most days to my unicorns. Hold your arm out. I spray them and smell them and see how the formulation works on real skin. Part of working for me.
I love the smell of just burn matches. Is there any fragrances that have, clearly, this scent? Would love if Aaron would do a fragrance based in this note.
Nasomatto is a great house and Baraonda is a sexy gem of a fragrance! I'm glad you enjoyed this one....Aaron I wanted to ask you if you are ever going to send boss bitch to MaxAroma in the future? I was really looking forward to buying it this round
I really dont like selling it Rob. Its so time consuming. Its also my favourite one. So I tend to let only my favourite Unicorns have it. So I might do by invite only or I choose who would have it. Honestly I struggle with selling it. All of my work is so personal its not profit driven so I get really attached. I nearly didn't launch the new Oud as its so beautiful. After the relaunch I might do a short run.
I forgot a testing strip with a single spray of baraonda in my wallet about 2 weeks ago and despite having used it to hold other strips for way longer is STILL is the only fragrance that i can smell when i open my wallet
Hello Aaron please could you make a video addressing how to put your fragrance on I always feel like I'm doing it wrong would love to hear a professionals view Thanks
Baraonda is my favorite Nasomatto, I'm excited. I like old Black Afgano a lot but they ruined it at some point. I have a sample that's about 4 times as strong as a new bottle that I bought (and then sold).
I remember 6 months ago I went to selfridges to treat myself to a nasomatto, either duro or black afghano....but I tried this one and had to take it.....superb scent.
It’s a very sad day for me so thank you for helping keep my mind off things with your reviews. This is a great house. I don’t have any of the fragrances yet but I’ve Black Africano and Pardon and love them them both. I love woody, dark, and orientals, like yourself they’re my favorite.
Im so sorry to hear of that. I am also very pleased that I am helping you to take your mind off whats going on. I wish you lots of love and hope this period passes quickly and you get back to a normal state of living. If I may offer you one piece of advice. Nothing is permeant. everything changes. What you are going through will change and you will raise above it and feel happy again. Its important to except all your going though and realise that its normal. Excpetance allows us to heal as we approach things with a balanced mind of kindness. What every your feeling at this moment in time is valid and you are allowed to feel it. I promise you your be fine.. Have a great Sunday my friend.
@@bryancastater2337 I always hope that my channel would be one of positively and kindness. I always hoped that people would come here to hear my passion and love for perfumery and find inspiration to do there art. But to hear that its helping you with what your going through really warms my heart. We really are all interconnected. Isn't that a wonderful thing!!
@Aaron Terence Hughes yes, it is a wonderful thing. You know 5 months ago I didn’t know that the online fragrance Community existed. I found Chris (FM), Carlos (Brooklyn Fragrance Lover, and Steven (Redolences) channels and that’s how I found out about you and your channel and fragrances. Then I start following you probably three months ago because of your knowledge, your energy and your positivity but it wasn’t till about maybe a month ago that I started to comment on videos. I started to find this connection and I’m really glad I did because it been extremely helpful. You would love my wife too, you and her have that same energy and positivity. Thank you for being you!
There are 5 skin types. 1 is fair and burns 3 is medium Olive skin always tans. (Me. Type 5 is pigmented skin never burns. Type 1-3 is Northern European and Asian type skin. Type 3-5 is eastern Europe some Latino and lighter black skin.I sit here. Type 3-5 is darker skin types. Type 1 is suitable more for citrus. Whereas type 5 would not be suitable for citrus. When I develop citrus I have to test on production unicorn skin as my skin just doesn't work with citrus. Wheras I test the Ouds and darker fragrance on my skin. Thats why I have so much Ouds, Patchouli and gourmand. When I create a fragrance I test on people to see how it works. I hardly ever test using a tasing strip. I just dont feel it works in real life. Interestingly Blood Orange and Jasmine Narcotique sells really well in Asia and my Ouds are not as huge there. The Ouds sell really well EU and USA. When I developed my initial range I tested at a Black hair and beauty event. I was interested to see that Chocolate was massively popular. So I asked why. I was informed that Musk, Patchouli, Sandlewood and Chocolate works better on darker skin types. I tested my work out in the field for years before launching I always found what people liked very interesting. Is it a genetic preference or a personal preference? If I went to study a PhD Id like study the Genetics of fragrance selection. I think there is so much we dont truly understand about Genetics and fragrance selection. Hope that answers your question
I bought the "very good clone" of this frag (BOO THIS MAN, BOO HIM! - I know), because I wanted to get an idea of what Baraonda is about. Now I bought the real thing and it is vastly more complex and exquisite. The clone is like a low bitrate MP3 in comparison, missing what makes it special.
I found the projection on this to be somewhat lack luster! :( I remember Jeremy Fragrance saying if a fragrance has too high a concentration of oils that it turns almost 'glue like' and its sits too heavy on the skin and cant lift off and project. The longevity was great but thats useless to me without any projection 👎🏻
@@AaronTerenceHughes well that shows what he knows 😂 he said to make a fragrance stronger its not as simple to just add more oil becuase it's too heavy and cant lift off the skin? No?
Hey I just bought Slut. I hope no one asks me about the name of the fragrance while I don’t have it on hand because that would put me in an awkward situation. I’d rather show them the bottle then say the name out loud.
