That's because this is what he does so as far as reviews go you're not going to get a better breakdown of a fragrance than what ATH gives you, str8 knowledge which is why I'm always going to forever watch his reviews regardless!! 💯

Great review! Actually the flatness of this fragrance is soimething that i particularry liked, it puts the focus more onto the main actors and makes it less overwhelming. Idk im not an expert but it should arive at my doorstep an moment now :) I dont need it to have everything and it smells perfect to my nose as is
Well, since that I've watched both of your reviews of Black Phantom, I would say that this isn't based on emotions as the deleted video.. The removed video showed much more emotions of surprise than this one, but it kind of boosted my love for the fragrance.. this reaction is much more poised and analytical than the other one.. I'd like to believe that there's a hidden message behind this which might be don't be overwhelmed with a fragrance.. just give it its time and wear, only then you can justly evaluate it.. great reviews man, all the way👏❤️
Black Phantom and Angel's Share are two of my favorite fragrances. I've never found the perfect fragrance yet, but I like these a lot. It's like food, some people love garlic, and others want to barf. LOL We all have different tastes. Great video. Thanks, Aaron.

You should try out more from Initio🥰 I suggest you should also review Psychedelic Love as it’s truly magical… Also the one that’s called Rehab, other suggestions would be Blessed Baraka and Absolute Aphrodisiac by Initio❤️

i don't know if your review is for an older version of this fragrance, but when i tried it this year, it didn't smell much like that you're describing? maybe it's been reformulated? black phantom is a beastly voodo vaporous apparition of a fragrance that has long staying power and a is reminiscent of a stage smoke machine mixed with oud and incense.. i recall walking through a crowd of people wearing black phantom and hearing WTF from pretty much everyone surrounding me!

Hey Aaron, are you going to try some of Francesca bianchi? Her fragrances are really interesting and in my opinion special. I think you‘ll really like them!! And maybe ambre tabac by daniel josier is interesting too!
If you're going to keep doing kilian reviews, I think "Light My Fire" "Royal Leather" "Musk Oud" are some of the interesting ones. "Vodka on the Rocks" has a really interesting accord going on and "Gold Knight" i think is pretty good. Goes in the YSL Opium pour homme direction but smoother. And you can't go Kilian without doing Straight to Heaven. Loved your Back to Black review. That's one of my favorites
I like Black Phantom as a more simple gourmand fragrance. I enjoy the absence of vanille, as I'm very anti vanille in perfumes. The longevity is lacking unfortunately. On my skin it lasted 5 hours max. Oh and new subscriber here :)
Yo man, try Insomnia by Faviol Sefferi. It's a Bulgarian fragrance, about 80$ for 50ml if you purchase outside of Bulgaria, and It's inspired by Killian Black Phantom, but blended smoother, lasts 12+ hours and it's better overall.
Yes, these used to come in the lacquered skull coffret. They seem to have dropped all the coffrets for a more basic presentation. The prices dropped by about $50, but I expect they'll wind up bumping the price back up again. Supposedly cyanide smells like "bitter almond," but I think I remember hearing that apple seeds contain some cyanide, so that's kind of what I looked for.
Hey peeps, I am in the market for a coffee fragrance that truly captures the warmth of a well-blended roast in a new york coffee shop, possibly with complimentary notes of vanilla, something which both projects and has longevity. I'd like it to capture a memory of a coffee shop (i.e. in the vein of the Replica line), but something which performs better than Coffee Break. Anyone have any suggestions? Thanks in advance!
The opening is really weird on me but after the 1st 30 mins it's very nice. The refills are fairly priced imo (140 euro) but the full bottles are too expensive =[.
The Kerosene you mention must be Kerosene Follow, which I've been interested in for a while, but I believe it's not easily available in Europe, or is it? I can't find it anywhere, and it seems the manufacturer doesn't ship it to the EU from the US
Correction, I just checked again and Kerosene does ship to the EU. Maybe they changed that after last time I visited their page, or maybe I was confused with some other brand. In any case just ordered their sample set, looking forward to it!
ATH nice review. This fragrances gets a ton of hype and I’m not a fan either. Question, do you wash ur arm off after testing something like this or you leave it on all day in case it changes ur mind?

I have this fragrance and have had it for a while and I am a fan of Balck phantom. It could project better though and should be more potent too. Therefore I agree with you totally but it is good!!
I thought about getting this one, but I keep seeing comments about performance issues. I wonder has it been reformulated because early on people were saying it was beastmode? I have a two clones of it but I was going to get the original.
@@jstacks444 ive had the opposite experience it projects really well off my skin. More so than a lot of ‘beastmode’ fragrances but it might just be my body chemistry.
I have both an old and a new bottle and it’s dramatic how they changed it . It went from a beastly luxurious gourmand to a cheap dirt like smelling sweet piece of crap that doesn’t project even with 6 sprays .
Wow..you may have just saved me 300$....I was going to purchase the Coffret presentation but I keep hearing about possible reformulation & Kilian watering down their fragrances. I have two clones of Alexandria Fragrances Dark Knight & Insomnia but I wanted the original but if its lacking in performance, I'll pass on it...I hope they dont water down Back to Black because I have that one & enjoy it very much
I’d like to see this too! I was surprised at his initial take on Carlisle which he didn’t like at all but appreciated he was able revisit and see his opinion evolve and ended up talking highly of it. Back to Black is also my favorite from the house of Killian. It’s so good. I didn’t know I loved honey so much. I only have a decant and will eventually get the fancy full bottle.
Yes my Back to Black decant is almost finished also and I'll be getting a full bottle soon. Trust me! I dig Black Phantom also but it turns into a skin scent too quickly for me, but it's a nice scent nonetheless
I enjoy the fragrance and yes if you want the lacquer box you're going to pay for it !!!! But in my opinion if you want a good coffee fragrance just us your Arabica ❤️🦄❤️. I like yours more for sure !!!!
You have reviewed this before and marked it 9/10 as far as I can remember! But people's test and likings can change in time, specially regarding fragrances!!
My black phantom is sadly weak af and doesn’t really project… no one can smell it. It’s a never batch. It’s a skin scent and idk how long it even lasts since it projects so sadly
Are there any similar creators that explain the notes in a way like Aaron? Just to expand on thr perfumes. And hesr about perdumes that this channel hasnt mentioned yet..anybideas would be welcome, thank you friends❤

Interestingly it’s £185 initially when you purchase the fancy bottle but then you don’t re-purchase the bottle again, you just buy the refill of the juice on their website which is £135-£140 like you suggested price-wise. 👍🏻
I was shocked to learn something about the big name frags at arguably the biggest Niche store in Canada. The 3 to 5 main(best) notes of these frags are replaced with SYNTHETICS !!! I am in a city with over 2 million people. You can get big name colognes in MANY drug stores, gas stations, etc like Dior Sauvage, Bleu De Chanel, Kilian, Tom Ford, Initio. I saw Dior bottles and Bleu De Chanel in a vending machine! Also they are all over airports. He/she said ambroxan is amped up sooo much like msg for food. The store gets asked all the time why many designer frags are not on the shelf and the response is on a website now to save time explaining. Pre Estee Lauder takeover they were all over her shelves. I, like many, smell BDC and Dior S. and find it just ok. The reason some on youtube still say it is the best ever is they get free bottles TO SELL and make $. I was floored.
@@DarlingNikki2 No. He also did a Black Phantom review which is no longer on the Channel. I bought Black Phantom after watching Aaron’s original Black Phantom review. The Back to Black review is still up but the original Black Phantom review has been taken down. Not a big deal… just wondering why he changed his opinion.
I also wondered how his opinion changed and I almost bought it after watching the review. But then I smelled Back to Black at the boutique and went for that one instead. But Black Phantom smells nice still, definitely a skin scent in my opinion
