Reviewing 'Eau de Cologne' From Les Exclusifs de Chanel. www.aaronteren... Instagram - AaronTerenceHughes Music: Sleepdebt - I C U #FragranceReview #AaronTerenceHughes
I love to reapply colognes to get a hit of the freshness again. Carry a small decant. Or, enjoy it during the morning, and change to something else later in the day.
Same here. I particularly favor Chanel because of their light airiness, ozonic qualities. I love to reapply throughout the day I can’t stand heavy oud fragrances that linger for days at a time and smell sweaty
I love the classic Chanel perfumes, including this one. I actually wore Chanel Pour Monsieur the other day, the original, and it was just beautiful. Fabulous review, as always, and I can't wait to dig into your new rebranded perfumes this year..
Pour monsieur is such a great one. No one really talks about it. I have both the edt and the edp I prefer the edt it really puts me in a good mood. Love to wear it on days off early in the morning when the weather is perfect. Just makes the day better
@@ManicMindTrick ; I have two bottles of the original, that being what I chose to wear that day. The only other 'originals' I currently own (of older perfumes, that is) are Guerlain Heritage - a masterpiece, for me - and Gucci Envy, the latter sadly now long since discontinued, and of which I have very little left. But you're right, I do think the original Pour Monsieur is better, although the current version I also like very much as well.
@@user-Cosmicplayhouse_ ; The original, vintage Pour Monsieur? Firstly, I'm lucky that (most) perfumes work really well on my skin, which ought to be taken into consideration. Having said that, I always moisturise post-shower and then apply immediately. I've always believed that probably helps. So, the vintage Pour Monsieur lasts easily all day on me, by which I mean is still detectable by others, even at the end of a working day. The modern version arguably less so, but not by such a detrimental amount that I wouldn't purchase again because it's a perfume that I love, and have worn for many years. The vintage is a seldom-wear, the modern version is a more frequent-wear, for obvious reasons. In each case, only in the right environment / conditions etc, as the mood takes me. Also, I think Pour Monsieur suits me better now that I'm older, if I'm honest. But that might be because, like Heritage by Guerlain, it's inevitably become a very 'me' scent. Hope that helps.
Can’t wait for a review of Pour Monsieur or Sycomore 🙂 Also, where did you get your “Ethyl Maltol whipping through the base” shirt? Would love a bit of ATH merch 😄
Another great review! I love Chanel les exclusif line and I completely agree with your take on it. I wish this one projected and lasted better. You opened my eyes to Dior Privee line which I now get. Congratulations on the new formulation and branding look. I’m looking forward to getting mine. Cheers 🦄
Aaron can you please review Kilian - Dark Lord? It’s one of my favorites. Strong, Clean, Masculine. It’s perfect for a dark and mysterious night. Thank you.
Hi Aaron, you really should review the classic Chanel Egoiste, it is quite revered and praised. You gave Platinum Egoiste a 10 and I'm so curious to hear what you would think of the original. The perfumer Jacques Polge considers it to be his favorite creation for Chanel.
2:45 Same as with a lot of things in life. If it is quality, then often less is more. But if what you have is not the best quality, then you need lots of complications and distractions to keep the audiences attention. Thats why so many youtube-videos have constant editing-tricks, hand-gestures, screaming and chaos (Essentially salesman-tricks).
Aaron, and the audience...I don't know if I'm _that_ unique, I'm kinda asking...I never need "Longevity." I love _projection_ ...but I can always respray if I want more of the scent. I've tried frags that I literally can't wash out of my clothes. That bothers me...a *lot* . Everyone talks about longevity, but I'd happily pay a fair price for something I knew would give me a break after 4 to 6 hours. Cheers!
Really love your reviews! Also congrats to the relaunch of your brand! And last but not least I really have to admit that your top hair transplant looks exceptionally good. Where was it made? Turkey?
Hello, may I ask?.. I am looking for a fragrance that has a very similar DNA to Chanel No. 5 and men could wear them too.. Do you think a man could wear this fragrance?.. Thank you
Hi. Please make a review of Signature Rose by Zaharoff. I've heard great things about that fragrance. Would like to blind buy it but still needs convincing. Haha
Aaron---or anyone else who might have some input---I have homme (great fragrance) but I would like it to project more. I tried applying ambroxan on top of it but it didn't seem to do much. Any ideas? Best.
Hi Aaron, love your fragrances. I would really like to hear your opinion on 'Eau de Cedre' from Armani's 'Pour homme' line, it's sort of a woody/green tea scent from a line of fragrances that not many people have heard about.
Aaron, I am interested in trying your fragrances but don’t like vanilla or tonka. I need something I could wear almost any time-a signature. Which of your creations would you suggest? Thank you!
the presentation video on the new website is amazing but because i know the reason u changed the packaging distributor makes me laugh at the end of the video when all the bottles are destroyed
