Never stop making these videos aaron. I love watching them more than most videos on RU-vid. I like to binge watch loads of them. Your knowledge is unlike anyone in this space. Keep the amazing work and your fragrances which are amazing
I love listening to you talk chemistry!! Even when I don't understand you this is so relaxing for me. How love how you organized the construction of it:) I hope you are well Aaron!
This is my favorite from the Invictus lineup. Reminds me of a Fruit Roll-Up or fruit leather or gummies. Only thing is that bottle format is hard to decant
Hi Aaron, I'd recommend checking out Mont Blanc's Legend Spirit which smells like Invictus with the sweetness or Mont Blanc Legend EDP which is like Abercrombie and Fitch's Fierce and a smoother and more well rounded version of their Legend EDT. Your videos are more like art pieces than reviews sometimes haha
Invictus Platinum is the one that got me into this crazy hobby of ours. My young nephew got it as an Xmas gift last year and gave me a whiff and I was instantly hooked. Now with a little more experience I can place it into perspective. It's fresh and sweet as is the entire Invictus line. People like that style of cologne and people like wearing that style. It's designed to be pleasing and easy to wear and it is. Absolutely nothing wrong with that. It may not be to everyone's liking, but then again neither are oud, woody, gourmand, spicy or fougere style colognes and those sell like crazy too. There are better colognes than it out there and there are much worse ones too. I think your comments and your score for Platinum are more than fair. I like it overall and think it's a quality product, but it's perfectly fine if it's not someone's cup of tea.
I love your videos, and appreciate what your're doing. It's unheard of. Your opinion on Electimus Gladiator Oud would be well received since your work is so thorough in that regard. I have been on the fence between it. I will buy yours first regardless. Just got in slut and supernova today. 5 total ATH so far. Proud of each one. So far Ozone is my favorite. Its sitting in the front of the shelf. Thats because it does what I want for where I am. In another lifetime and career , im sure i would change that.
These are the only reviews on fragrances I watch on RU-vid now, we definitely have a different preference for what we like for sure, but I love the honesty and descriptions on how the scent is built and works. I'd hate to be a family member thinking of buying Aaron a fragrance as a birthday or Christmas gift though. 😂
Maby im brain damage from all the drugs in my life but i have allways loved these fragrance for the younger ones;) Love your professional view in every video!
So this is one I just picked up a couple of weeks ago. To me, it smells more tart, than sweet. It's a little "sharp" or "tangy." I like it, but I don't love it. It lasts awhile though. It's a good performer!!
Dear aaron, your fragrances seem like they would be excactly my style, i would love to try and sample all of them but im still rather young and cant afford that :) would you ever consider putting together a 2ml discovery set?
I think this smells fantastic once you let it soak in, mixed with a bit of sweat. After a couple hours the smell is fantastic, fresh and crisp. Very clean and “sexy” smell.
I am 21 and my taste in perfumery is quite eloquent, in my opinion. There are really view people of my age group who love Fougeres and classic French perfumery like YSL Kouros, Chanel Egoiste..., I got really bored by these sort of modern linear and clean perfumes, but of course I also use to wear them too, because they are very functional and versatile.
Honestly, I’m a younger guy and I do not like super sweet fragrances like companies try to market to people my age. I love more mature stuff like oud and tobacco
I throw out majority of my perfume boxes, but I just went to quickly look at a picture on the website for a niche company that's extremely popular, and my jaw dropped... nothing on the box. Thank you
There is a few large houses with no external information. This is important for your insurance and to make sure the perfume or cosmetic is safe. Some compounds are toxic at high doses but safe at lower doses. If the product hasnt undergone safety testing then they cant sell legally!
As a woman, I always prefer a woody, spicy scent over anything sweet, even on myself. Everything else smells juvenile to me at my age. And I'm so glad I found you so early, because I don't have a single box without the inkey list. 🥰 Love your videos, so relaxing. I always say your intro and outro with you, and the ethyl maltol hand whipping. Hope you have a beautiful week! 🥰🥰
Sweet frags are Tacky in my opinion, sweetness in frags is fine but when the overall scent is sweet it’s not good when your in your 40s - I stay natural 💯 PS That bottle looks like Cheap Door stop
@@MoahGentleI bought ambroxan, hedione, heliotropex and timbersilk, (more concentrated version of iso e super) and mixed them all together for the superpower aromachemical blast😅
@@profound369 maybe not the current formulation (EDT), but the first batch, that stuff would make me nauseous, and it really sucked cus I loved the way that it smelled but the ambroxan was too much
I checked out as soon as I heard the word cheap whipping through the base about 3 times before your first spray. High fructose corn syrupy sweet isn’t for me 🤣🤣🤣 … no shade on the fragrance that’s just where my brain went
Cheap and smells accordingly. I got it as a gift and I’ve worn it a few times. Wife hates it. 20 yr old daughter loves it. Says it all. It’s a good first fragrance or to give a kid or young man as a gift. It’s nauseatingly sweet, but kids like that. Marketed well and cheaply made. Wise business model, average fragrance.
I'm not sure if you referenced the term 'Oriental' in this video, but the following is my understanding. Items from eastern Asian countries are referred to as "Oriental' and people are called "Asian". This has been the case for years - I believe it is perfectly fine to call perfume that falls into the Oriental style as "Oriental". I don't know of any Asian people (and I know quite a few), who are offended by this or by using the term 'Oriental' to describe furniture, rugs, artwork etc. Love your videos! Take care, Ginny 😘😘😘
Wanna try making my own fragrance. I have something specific in mind, but dont wanna buy materials that wont go well together. Do you think raspberry mixes well with pink pepper?
You should get a sample of Adonis Awakens from Argos. Pink pepper, raspberry and rose. I bought another fragrance from them and got a free sample of Adonis and when sprayed it on my wrist I literally got goosebumps from the smell.
that 25 year old mark might be true but comes partly from a lack of research on adult neurogenesis, the brain develops your whole life and adult neurogenesis research is new and uncharted 🤓
