I got a sample and found it too intense but then I thought, "You know who this would smell great on? My truck." So I give the seats in my truck a spritz every few months (because it lasts FOREVER) and my truck smells like the most f-ing amazing truck in the world. I'm completely serious.
I actually liked this better than Oud for Greatness. The fresh ginger note in the opening is what stood out the most for me. I found it fresher and more uplifting than Oud for Greatness. Very unique fragrance.
Really appreciate the honesty Aaron, respect! We need to know what's really good and what's not. You delivered. Dodged a blind-buy bullet. Like music, it's really hard to make a hit, even in perfumery.

I got a chance to smell OFH yesterday and actually ended up really liking it, so much so I bought a bottle on the spot. I have had OFG, side effect and blessed Baraka for several months now and to be honest Initio hasn’t disappointed my nose yet.

The opening is very polarizing. The Licorice is very dominating for a couple hrs but after 2hrs or so all that mellows and oud for happiness becomes this beautiful vanilla fragrances. It completely changes after a few hours
@@LeauPapier Different kind. Coro's is a wet dirt kind aka 'dirty patchouli' Coro's drydown ruined it for me, i don't want to smell like the soil of a potted plant. And in the dryoff that's pretty much the only note i can pick up. The frag changes as it drysdown from the opening. Other than that, it's a beautiful elegant fragrance that leans fem. I think of Beyonce when wearing it lol
Aaron, I have to agree with you on this one. When I tested it I couldn't wait to wash it off my arm! I got an ashtray too! Glad to hear it isn't just me as everyone else seemed to be loving it that I spoke too!
I freaking love u man! Initio is quite an established house, which many reviewers hesitate to speak their true opinions or even avoid reviewing at all. Not Mr. ATH! And that's why most of ur followers including myself can really trust u completely when giving ur thoughts on a particular fragrance or house. Kudos!! 👌
I had been waiting for you to post a video so I could tell you I got a bottle of Notorious from Max Aroma and out of the 40ish fragrances in my collection Notorious is now my favorite. It will also be my first back up bottle purchase. I also own Ozone and looking to try Daddy next probably long story short Thank you!
Totally agree with you Aaron. Oud for Greatness its really nice, that lovely sensual oomph it has its delicious. The animalic touch latches to the skin perfectly and turns into a skin scent with more grace. But... dunno... Oud for Happiness doesn't makes honor to the name. Initio parfums its a lovely house indeed but this creation when i first sprayed it on my skin was... gosh why didn't sprayed this on a tester strip. It feels like burning licorice and so metalic it almost feels like a toxic light mist of notes i can't get to like. I really don't like it at all. Besides that, as always lovely review and all my best energies and positive vibes. You are the best ❤
Very interested to smell your upcoming bergamot fragrance! Excellent review as always👏. I would recommend you to get your nose on Xerjoff Zefiro. I think you would love it
I am in the process of sampling different Bergamot from Italy.one is crazy expensive. But if I do an exclusive bergamot fragrance it will be with the best I can get. But it could just be sales telling me it’s amazing. There Vetiver was outstanding. So I have high expectations
I love oud for greatness And I 100% agree with you this is nothing like it. I always love your honesty and the fact that you share your knowledge with us like no other. I won a free bottle of this so I have it but it sounds like it smells different on my skin than it does yours. I don’t get as much of the licorice and that ashtray smell that you do. I get more of a cannabis smell on my skin. I do agree though if I didn’t get it for free I’m not sure that I would buy it but I don’t dislike it as much as you do. 😂

hey aaron, you should try some oud oils from the perfumist, i loved how you described the oud at your oud for greatness review, i think you would love thier work, i wouldn't like licorice dirty ashtrays, no thanks!
My experience with Oud for Happiness is that it has all-year potential the same way Layton and Ani do. I think this is the best niche release for the year actually, slightly ahead of Material from Amouage and Decas from Xerjoff. I honestly think it's getting a bad rep because it's nothing like Oud for Greatness. The scent itself is enjoyably sweet, but the oudiness (if that's a word) is not even slightly present. Worthy of addition is that I'm not a chemist or anything, I just am offering a general impression of the scent and the profile.
What’s the Mariwana Smell in this thing . I like it except that it smells like some sort of Marijwana idk maybe it’s green notes but it’s very obvious for me .

Aaron, I totally agree. I really like Oud for Greatness and had high hopes for Happiness. But I was really disappointed. Like you, I actually disliked the fragrance which isn't often that happens. I mean, most fragrances might not be stunning but at least somewhat pleasant. This really isn't.
I haven't watched the video yet but I sprayed out for greatness on one wrist and happiness on the other a few weeks ago. Got home and had to go back and bought oud for greatness it was amazing. Happiness I really like the first few seconds and It literally knocked me sick on my arm it's so sticky gingery wurrghhhh. Such a shame I do like ginger x
I don't think the marketing department either knows what they meant with "all naturals". I would bank on them having learned the phrase "plausible deniability" from Independence Day.
You only had to mention licorice and I immediately know not to try this one out. I absolutely detest that smell and that note has completely ruined any fragrance I've ever tried that it was in. You can have the most amazing composition of tobacco, oud, vanilla, rose, sandalwood, tonka bean (all the good stuff) and as soon as I see licorice, I immediately turn away. It is by far my most hated fragrance note, in case you couldn't tell lol. I hate black licorice candy as well.
I just returned my Dior Elixir....the dry down became nauseating ...similar to the dry down in Oud for Greatness..not sure what the combination or exact accord or material it is but it does not agree with me at all..always disappointing to be excited for a new fragrance and have bad reactions waiting
I have a weird question .... I've noticed in several of your videos when you talk about white florals or lily of the valley you refer to them as a specific type of raw material. It's a word that I'm not familiar with but it sounds like you are saying "may-jif" raw materials. It may be a combination of my bad hearing and your accent (which is lovely, by the way), but I can't quite make out what that word is. Would you please tell me?

Initio has become a victim of its own success. Our for greatness is a phenomenal fragrance, this fragrance isn’t in the same stratosphere. Initio should of used a different name and approach for this one.
I don't want to sound harsh but Initio is a too much playful brand. If they were to produce chess boards, all the figures would be Disney based. I cannot take them seriously.
Smelling this for the 2nd time. It's nothing like & certainly nowhere near as good as OFG. Musk Therapy is better. They need to chill with the intentional hedione overkills as it makes their lineup feel fairly redundant & boring. The price on this, though? ...lol
i must say, i really can understand why people like most perfumes, even the ones that are not my taste! But this is the first one i can say smell repulsive..! it actually smells bad.
