Reviewing 'PACIFIC CHILL' from Louis Vuitton. www.aaronteren... aaronterencehu... Instagram - AaronTerenceHughes #AaronTerenceHughes Music: Sleepdebt - I C U
I love Pacific Chill. It’s a 10 for me as well. Kind of surprised by the mixed reviews in the comments. I don’t love many fragrances, but this one is so easy for me. Jacques Cavalier is one of my favorite perfumers, and I think he did a brilliant job with this one. Thanks for the review!
This and Imagination are my two favorites from LV. Works so beautiful during the warmer months. Also can't wait for my ATH order to arrive soon! Keep up the great work Aaron. You and ur teams hardwork is appreciated by the community 🙏. If you could bring forbidden back in some way in the future would be wonderful 😅😅😅
Every time I see Aaron he always looks smooth. Moves smooth . Acts and reacts smooth. Just a smooth smoothness. Did I mention smooth….. lol. Keep up the good work bro. Love the review. Killer videos 😎. No one does this better then yo bro
Love it, one of my favorites. And the longevity of it is surprisingly enormous, on clothes I can still smell it days and days later (more than a week really).
I can’t stand the LV boutique. Went in once and it was a totally uncomfortable experience and won’t go back again. Rude sales associate ruined everything and they knew absolutely nothing about their perfumes. They had them on a display with hot lights beneath every single bottle and you could see the sweating inside each bottle. They also wouldn’t let my lady try what she wanted from a tester bottle and they absolutely refused to look for one sample when I asked. Revolting.
Totally different experience when I went to one of their boutique in Paris, the guy spent an hour with me talking about perfumes and letting me smell all of them, and even showed me around the boutique and explained a lot of things to me. Very nice!
Definitely had a much different experience in the Salt Lake City location. Mind you, I'm covered in tattoos and typically get poor treatment at high end stores but they were extremely polite to me. They gave me samples, even brought be a cold water while I shopped, and ended up making a sale because of the top notch service. I would recommend them to anyone. Frags are overpriced though hahaha.
Haha. My scent of the day is Pacific Chill! I love it after first not being impressed. Super crowd pleasing fragrance. After I wore for the 2nd time, I thought to myself, I get it. This is one of those fragrances that everyone loves and I am slow to appreciate. Like Aaron said, this is a 10 for me. I have 4 LV fragrances and the only thing that tops this is Afternoon Swim. Well, Imagination is probably as good as Pacific Chill too, if I am being honest.
Aaron-greetings from Detroit Michigan. As a former pro hockey player I always loved and collected colognes from all around the world, I was lucky .. now my teenage son and I share the same passion.I love it. We love your channel and go by your reviews, We bought colognes suggested by you , Please know that you have an audience around the globe.. Every weekend I come from Macy's (in US) and enter the house see my wife with intro : Hello Im Aaron how are you Im doing fantastic- and hand her a $ 200 receipt :)
I visited my local Louis Vuitton store a couple weeks ago, and it was an awesome experience! I was nervous at first, because it was almost empty when I got there, the giant bouncer guy followed me around the store, but I was just looking for someone to ask about fragrances. After someone started showing me the fragrances, and she saw that I was really interested in them, it felt way more relaxed. The prices aren't too awful, either. I didn't buy anything, but I might go back and get this or Imagination one day.
Great review Aaron happy valentines 💌 day to you and you’re love ones and to all your viewers… best wishes from Cheshire ps when you doing a review of amounge jubilation 40 😊
Love, love, love this (as well as Afternoon Swim & Imagination) All are perfecto for chilling in warm weather, although I spritz Afternoon Swim on, upon awakening. It never lasts, but that's okay, it's my 'anti-depressant' to put me in a great mood, until I can brew my coffee. Then all is better in this world! LOL
I bought imagination because of the story behind it it’s giving soapy citrus, and asked for a sample of pacific chill. Instant favorite! Need to try out the others soon!
Hi Aaron, the weather is slowly starting to warm up, and since we are on a freshy sort of vibe with Pacific Chill, I would love to hear your thoughts on Acqua di Parma's Fico di Amalfi, personally I absolutely adore it, I'm a big fan of the usage of fig in perfumery and this one just screams eating a fig by the pool on a hot day of summer. Thank you for your reviews, take care.
Because you graded this a 10, I will likely purchase it. I cannot recall a previous 10 grading in the past (sorry if I missed it). However, precisely because you are a perfumer with VERY high standards, which I find to be a great attribute/quality is why I can confidently purchase - even though fragrance note preferences vary, I trust your judgment and will purchase this one.
Hey, Aaron! At 2:46, you mention calone and that sometimes it can smell sulfurous if it's not used/implemented well, but that if it is, it gives an aquatic/marine character. If I remember correctly, some aquatic fragrances, one in particular being D&G Light Blue Eau Intense, are sometimes known for being divisive because some people smell the salty/marine character that was intended, but some people say they smell "eggs", which would really mean they are getting a sulfurous character. Is this what you are referring to? Thanks for being awesome, as always!
@@historianofmanythings4294 Hello, I wanted to know whether the durability is okay and whether the people around you can also smell this scent. I would be very happy to receive your answer
Just got a sample card of this last night from the LV store here. Out of the 5 I sampled this is the one I keep coming back to. Amazing!!! I might bite the bullet and pony up for it!
@@historianofmanythings4294 the sample cards are easy to get. You just grab a card and spray it to take home. If you want a sample just ask them and they will give it to you. They gave me 2 Meteore and 1 Imagination. I need to go back to get Pacific Chill and L'Immensite.
The hell with the Pacific Chill Aaron, what's up with the Hard Candy and Daddy? I been trying to purchase for a year now. Nice to know you got a side job but, you need to be taking care of your day job and get that product flowing. I've never been this frustrated trying to get a frag from an esteemed perfumer. May I suggest a get in line and pay in advance model. I'll give you a couple hundred and wait six months for you to fill the orders. Sure, beats waiting for an email that never comes saying the product is back in stock.
I also feel frustrated, kind of disappointed in him that we in the usa are left in the cold now . He also should have put a limit per household so scalpers don’t screw everyone up
5:55 wow I have to get this especially if you have it a 10, because I know you aren’t one to give 10’s out or even 9’s that much at all. Great breakdown and imagery of how the smells, I feel safe blind buying.
I just visited their boutique in europe and this one is by far the best Ive tried. Just bought a bottle but for a discounted price. Probably not worth 280 euros
Hi Aaron, quick question. How come some summertime fragrances smell weird on me? Like they don’t smell the way they smell on the test strip. Dolce and Gabbana Light Blue, Chanel Allure Eau Extreme, Versace Dylan Blue to name a few, all smell rotten or “off”. What is the ingredient they all have in common that causes this? I believe some people refer to this smell as a “rotten egg” smell. Hope you can help me out. Thank you
Hey Aaron, beautiful review! I was wondering what batch number your Pacific Chill is? I had the first Batch 3K01 which was much more apricot and passionfruity.. i just bought my second bottle which is batch 3K02 and i get a totally different note, much more citrussy and orange throughout.. i miss the apricot :(
hi Aaron I wanted to know if you could review myriad by lv. to me its barnyardi but for some reason absolutely magical so yah that is my two cents on that.
Could you comment on LV Nouveau Monde? It's got this opening that I've never smelt before. It's my favorite cologne but I can't find anything similar to that opening.
i was at LV boutique in Prague and was testing all of them.. and pacific chill was the only one which was interesting via sample.. thank you for your opinion too.
I cant justify the price. Its too one dimensional. Compare it to your Supernova, Supernova is way better blended, longer lasting, change a lot on a skin and better priced. To me this is a joke for 270€.
@@AaronTerenceHughes just being honest with you. I like your reviews, they are on another level, but somethimes you are too humble. I cant wait to try oud noir. Take care :)
