Thank you Aaron for a honest review. This fragrance gets hyped up by all the female influencers as the ultimate aphrodisiacum that gets you every women. And I hate these female influencers for doing this. Its obvious they get paid for doing it. And its awful what they doing.

It's my most complimented fragrance by Women. High Voltage is my most overall complimented fragrance primarily by Men but this one is the winner by far. I own over 500 fragrances Designer and niche.

Love the honesty. There are some gross things about the fragrance industry. Anytime I see a crazy amount of marketing on a new fragrance/house, I am instantly skeptical. Keep up the good work Aaron.
Haha the cosmetics industry (to include fragrances) is severely institutionally corrupt. There's a chemical reality to all of it, but there's also so much subjectivity that a pile of false claims and celebrity/influencer pitchman hype can protect enormous margins on proprietary blends of relatively cheap synthetic molecules and natural products. It's almost humorous how this particular frag took these issues over the top and became a "honeypot" that tattooed "mute me" on the foreheads of a bunch of influencers.
It’s interesting to see the comments. He still gave it an 8 out of 10 and alot of women do like this type of scent where its playful and not to thick and loud. 8 out of 10 is a high score no matter how you look at it. It was done well just a bit over priced
I was looking up this fragrance to blind buy & saw Fragrantica reviews pop up & decided to just paruse around to see what people were saying & WOW the overall concensus is that people felt “duped & conned” into this fragrance from 2 popular (female) youtube fragrance reviewers. That the scent was designer basic, no peformance & overpriced. YIKES!
That female reviewers (we all know who) always put it on TOP of there lists as best of the best and immediately give "special promo code" for it 😂 I don't think anyone should believe and listen to that "honest" opinion.
Most fragrance reviewers are shills. I am only aware of one of those women reviewers, which happens to have a distinct hair type (it's curly). And is a major shill, don't trust her.

I avoid all panty dropping reviews at all cost! I could see through this specific product immediately at this price due to the very intense marketing.
I've been waiting for this. I have it and its really nice and the ladies do like it, but what's off putting for me is the price. And you're right I expected more with all the hype. If it was $80 it would be epic but it's just over priced IMO. Love your channel and fragrances, you truly are an artist!!
Aaron is my north star when I want to know what something really smells like. And If I suspect something is being over - shilled, there is a very entertaining, very charismatic female influencer I can always rely on to provide confirmation.

I use to watch michella from curly fragrance but you can tell she hypes fragrances she is getting paid for. She is really hyping this fragrance. She must be getting paid alot. I dont trust her anymore.

Man, based from aaron's previous videos, you can see that he's really working extra to make them because you can see from his face the fatigue from work but even so it doesn't stop him from reviewing existing perfumes which are widely sold on the market. I guess he's just doing what he loves. Gotta admire it

Aaron, I loved the expertise you have with which you reviewed this fragrance. It was so accurate, and you really put the scents together and explained them so well. I like this cologne and your realistic and professional review was great to hear.
SO, I own this one and in my experience, and opinion, it lives up to the hype. Opulent, sexy and lasts until you wash what you sprayed it on. Very unique and definitely appreciated by those around me. I started with a decant and quickly felt it was bottle worthy. It's interesting how vultures sit on a wire, waiting to blindly shit on something.
I completely agree with you Aaron look I appreciate that perfumers work their arses off to make a great fragrance but there is no way I would pay 200 plus pounds for that . Great review mate 👌🏻

Also agree wholeheartedly about the hype in marketing with terms like "panty dropper" which puts me, personally, off really (and also agree with you on the bloomers 😂). I commend your manners, Aaron, and the subtle quality of being "real" which you have a whole lot of. That's of course on top of appreciating how you "savour" and deconstruct scents, and your Middle Eastern taste in perfumery. Keep up the amazing work!
FInally some honesty about this fragrance. I'll admit I was sucked in to all the marketing hype and I was let down. I thought the same thing about the cheap cap with the coating on mine already flaking off straight from the box. And my initial thought was it smells like inexpensive tanning lotion, nothing very special, especially for the price. It has grown on me but I was not blown away by any means. Also appreciate your explanation of your reviewing integrity and your take on professionalism. The holier than thou attitude is always a turn off. Most of life just isn't that serious.
I’ve been on a tear buying and wearing new fragrances lately. Sboy is the first one I’ve gotten a compliment on, and it was by 2 different people at work as soon as I walked in. I get it. I probably wouldn’t spend $230 on it again, but I don’t regret buying it. It’s very nice and easy to wear.
Why do I still watch these videos when I have absolutely no interest in the fragrance? I’d have to say that thankfully Aaron makes the videos short enough and we always learn something about raw materials.
Sharing my thoughts: I only really got into fragrance last year and that was because of some self improvement (weight loss leading to changes in clothing and naturally fragrance is a next step type of thing). I got drawn in and picked up a bunch of things blind and now that I know what I like more, I stick with things I like and haven’t bought something new in a while (gotta use up what I got!). The above being said, I was pretty big on Sboy when I first got it because it was different than colognes I was used to. I’m in the Midwest of the USA where fragrance is usually body odor, pets, or cigarettes, at least how I feel. Or just for women or work purposes. While I think less of Sboy than I used to, I still feel like it’s a very safe thing to wear when I don’t know what else to put on. I don’t generally like the fresh and clean fragrances people tend to talk about, but I do like gourmands and smelling sweet. Sboy works for me when I don’t know how a fragrance matches my mood that day. For anyone’s reference, I might consider Sboy one of my top 5 fragrances that I own, but remember, I’m still relatively new and very casual. I would put some other fragrances ahead of it like Xerjoff Naxos, Initio Rehab, ATH Hard Candy/Elixir. I also have other ATH fragrances, but my other favorites from him are Guapo and Slut (new formula, waiting on Elixir!). I don’t typically go for really masculine fragrances, but I do try them on occasion. They’re just not for me typically. Anyway, I hope the above helps anyone with some background, especially since Aaron asked for thoughts in the comments. Is Sboy overrated? Totally. So are most fragrances I see on RU-vid. But we all like what we like!
Been wondering about this - Michella seems to think it's god-tier. It's often very tough to tell with these fragrance RU-vidrs how much they're shilling and how honest their opinion really is. The marketing push on this has been pretty strong.
Same with Sospiro Vibrato. Suddenly within weeks all RU-vidrs were talking about it when they had previously never reviewed anything from the brand before. Super sus
@@Qualltoxywell actually Sospiro is a sub brand of Xerjoff. Back in the day, they had multiple hyped fragrances under that brand, such as Erba Pura and Opera, but then they shut it down and rereleased these fragrances under the main brand "Xerjoff". Recently, they decided to restore Sospiro and released some new fragrances. That's why you feel like it popped out of nowhere, but Xerjoff has always been on the top of the fragrance game, and your claim makes no sense.
Another brand I've seen pop up out of nowhere and get some air time is Brioni... I figured they were doing a marketing push as well. We all know fragrance RU-vid is largely driven by paid marketing - it's just that sometimes the brands make it *really* obvious.
Love your reviews. Sboy is scam by certain youtubers, disgrace!! If we want to talk about pantydropper the most god tier pantydropper is ATH hard candy and elixir, them frags are really elite, my all time favourites
I first heard of this on a Curly Fragrance top ten. It was her number one. I went ahead and used her discount, pulled the trigger and blind bought it. No regrets. I took my daughter's cat to my ex-mother in-law's house. She insisted i stay the night. (Because she loves me.😎) She had a nurse friend staying there. No, nothing exciting happened. Next day while driving home, I was on the phone with her and could hear her friend yell in the background, "ASK HIM WHAT COLOGNE HE IS WAS WEARING!!" She said it left the house with a wonderful light scent. I have bought A LOT of other fragrances since then. This is still one of the best.
@MisterL777 If you like island type Scents, I highly recommend the only frag I have that beats SBoy. Kokonut Daquiri by Sphinx. Freaking addictive delicious gourmand.

It's kind of funny. When I was in my teens the only thing I wanted from a fragrance was it being a pAnTy DrOpPeR. Now at 26, these kind of labels are more of a warning than anything else. I do own a few fragrances that happen to be compliment getters but more than anything I wear fragrance for myself (as long as it is mostly office appropriate). I actually stopped wearing a fragrance that is great for compliments because I got so bored of the DNA.
Been watching more and more of your videos. I definitely appreciate the way you got about the world… so I purchased a sample of this fragrance and I was not impressed at all. Maybe a month or two later I tried wearing it for day. It definitely was a grower. I used up the sample and had to get a bottle. It was clearly made to be mass appealing and it worked. It got me. I do also smell the resemblance to 540 which I also enjoy. But yeah some fragrances grow on you. This was one.

To me it's too sweet but it is long lasting, well priced and smells kinda like candy. I have similar taste to you I love orientals and gourmands and I think your fragrances are masterpieces.

This was my first blind-buy because I naively trusted the reviewers - off my skin I don't get anything fruity at all, all I smell is a toasted coconut and a sort of Johnson's baby powder smell combined. I think I could have emulated that on the cheap by just toasting up some coconut and rubbing it on my skin along with a few pats of powder before heading out.
I’ve had it for 4 months and I personally love it. I will agree it’s a little basic in ways and a little pricey for what it is, but I love the opening and the way it sets down on my skin. I will say I’m gonna buy another bottle when mines out but I have 35 bottles so that won’t be anytime soon
This review made me finally hit that subscribe button. I respect your integrity, especially when most people can't afford to pay money for a bunch of fragrances and get duped by these shilled products.

I've heard some stuff about this one but I've never had my nose on it, it seems like they are trying too hard to make this thing a hype beast but from what I've heard and from what you say. It just doesn't deliver! Like you said from the marketing you'd expect something more groundbreaking!
If every influencer got a bottle and everybody is *constantly* advertising their $35 off code, there has to be a sales incentive in it. I wish somebody outed the actual contract so we could have some big RU-vidr come in and sink the ship with all these PR bottle influencers. Some of the biggest we have would get hit with bans, no doubt about it.
The honesty here is amazing! Now, considering that a 50mL bottle would likely sell for $150-170 (my guess), then the rating could fall even further? Maybe 7-7.5
your review is SPOT ON. I bought full bottle too and am just like you, disappointed!!! Also, I've tried to leave reviews on their website, but since they were poor reviews, they deleted them! I emailed the company with proof that I left the review that disappeared and I never heard from them... even more disappointing! I think this is a good product for HALF the price or so.

Hello Aron, thank you for the review. Sboy smells really good but out of my skin only protected 1.5 hr and became skin sent ,after 5 hr I had to reapply, for $250 I expected to project better, last longer and Not have the need to spray so much. I mean I like a fragrance which I can spray 3 or 4 times and that's it but with this one I have to go with 10 sprays + An example of 3 or 4 spray. Dior Sauvage elixir or mancera red tobacco or club de nuit intense. Once again this is off of my skin. Maybe for some one else 3 or 4 sprays is good enough to project a long time. In my opinion is not long lasting and I'm very disappointed I got the woman's one for my wife and she sprays 10 times and is no projection at all. PS: I seen the reviews of your fragrances from cubaknow and I will really love to try them out one day. Hopefully yours will be available in usa so a can go and tested 😉 😁
I have it and I do like it. It does get a lot of compliments and one of my female friends said it’s her favorite fragrance of mine. Definitely should be cheaper and have a metal cap though.
When I first smelt it, I thought it was like Eros with lavender, then it dried down and to be fair it does smell amazing. It's the only aftershave I've had compliments on and I have over 30
Great review, precisely because you bought it yourself. Because of its BR540-dupeness, I would not be interested in this fragrance even if it was sold at Zara prices. Imho the current price it is being sold at is just scam-level ridiculous. The overhype and informerciality some other youtubers have used to push this fragrance has been really embarrasing. As soon as I realized the blatant conflict of interest in their ways, Zero trust in their recommendations and noses, unsubscribed right away from them.
I've never tried it but once again appreciate your comments about people being pleasant even though I openly admit I have my moments but believe kindness is a worthy life pursuit. Exactly why we all follow Aaron. Every other youtube reviewer calling this the sexiest fragrance and promoting blind buys. I tried it myself based on those reviews and was sort of disappointed. Its a decent cologne but nothing crazy
Same here curly is promoting it like haven, and don't get me wrong still like how she does her reviews but bought this because she said its amazing blind true internet and i was disappointed as its not special, there are more out there who are similar.. you hit the nail. Thanks for being honest, and trust me a lot people will like it but for 250 euros 300 sometimes 😢 nah its not worth it.. plus it made me look different to curly and made me go to smell things first instead of trusting what others say hahaha
