Reviewing the Tom Ford Private Blend fragrance Tubereuse Nue. www.aaronteren... Instagram - AaronTerenceHughes Music: Sleepdebt - I C U #FragranceReview #TomFord
“Lot’s of moving hands” lol. God I love you Aaron. I was watching one of your reviews the other day with headphones on. My 12 year old son asked me why I was watching a video of “some cool guy casting spells”. I had the best laugh I’ve had in a long while. Love and support for you from Cleveland Ohio USA.
This fragrance made me completely obsessed with tuberose and I have been collecting tuberose fragrances since it was released! I didn’t love it at first but when I actually sampled it properly I couldn’t get enough!! I love the dryness and spice to it. It’s so incredible 🤍🤍🤍 Great review Aaron! X
"I've never heard half of this stuff to be honest with you" That is hilarious lol. I think tuberose makes for the best women's fragrances cause it's both easy to like and also noticeable in the air.
This perfume got a lot of negative reviews, when I tried it I loved and it really stood of from all the TF I had tried that day, it made me think of a white latex wrapped in alienesque sensuality. The pricing is indeed outrageous which explains the high expectations and the scrutiny..
Been your subscriber since 5k Aaron, you have turned me from an ignorant perfume wearer to an aware and intelligent perfume wearer with purpose. I was a lost 25yr old wearing any sort of fragerence but now you have improved my overral judgement in perfumes. Thank you brother!
At first your quirkyness alienated me a bit in your videos, but your scientific backround and your insight to perfum composition lets you stand out from all the other fragrance channels on RU-vid. As a scientist myself i would be really interested if you could make a video maybe how those substances get sythesized or harvested? If they are from a natural source.
Aaron, i have just received my order of the 10ml haul and 50ml onyx extreme. I’m so excited to start wearing them. It’s going to be ATH everyday this month Appreciate the free gifts as well. You are simply magic! Happy holidays to you and your awesome staff! p.s. Raw Cherry is love!
A good tuberose type would be nasomatto narcotic v, its slightly candy flossy come dizzy blonde female smell, yet the drydown is lovely, I purchased it for the missus last year.xx
I bought a 50 ml bottle from estee lauder’s outlet store so it was 60% off - my goodness I do love it. Those first sprays make me feel like I’ve pushed my face into a huge bouquet of tuberose and took a large inhale - i smell the blooms and the green stalks in this perfume. i also get a little bit of bubble gum sweetness. I love it - I wonder if people don’t like it because it’s not what they think a Tom Ford fragrance should be? Ya know, dark and moody, with leathers and tobacco and liquors…
Yes, I'm also getting fatty Jasmine Ylang-Ylang Banana white-yellow floral notes from Tuberose oil. However, I never encountered this scent in fragrances. I think they are just making those generic white floral Benzyl blends with some additional Farnesol to give it that yellow floral feel and call them Jasmine, Tuberose or Ylang-Ylang.
Very informative review again, thank you! Dior J’Adore Infinissime is a combination of jasmin and tuberose, a briljant golden duo, I think. Correct me if I’m wrong, but I don’t see the use of Labdanum in any of your fragrances. Kinda surprises me. I got lucky to smell it and it is so beautiful. Leathery, warm, amber feel to it and even slightly sandalwood undertones. Somehow it feels like an ingredient you would love and use.
Hi Aaron, please make a review of Xerjoff Richwood, Guerlain Tonka Imperial and Tom Ford Vanille Fatale. They are so delicious and fit the current season very well, can’t wait for your review on these 3 please 🙏🏻
Excellent review Aaron! May i point you towards Xerjoff Symphonium and Zefiro? I think you will love these. Symphonium has similar notes to your Notorious. Very interesting to hear a comparison between the two!
Aaron, monsieur fantastic, I just love watching your reviews this is why I want you to download back violet delirium cause I got my bottle and love to hear you talk about it. Bisous 😘
This fragrance had a chemistry effect happen on me when heat up on my skin. The smell sooooo good.❤️ But if I'm keep staying at air-conditioning room, is bit harsh on my skin. 😆
Very Nice Aaron...I like that one Aaron....I do not have that one...But i have smelled it....I love Tom Ford....He is one of my favorite houses!!! The only thing i do not like about Tom Ford is his prices...There sky high!!!!
I think you should really try Antaeus by Chanel. It's up your alley - dark, sexual, uber-masculine, slightly gothic. It does NOT contain real castoreum, but synthetic castoreum and a leather accord it does.
Just received your parcel Aaron and I’m already in love with your brand!! I opened the parcel and knew I would love the blind buy! Why? Because the whole box smelled so good (I think it was Onyx or Onyx Extreme, I don’t which perfume your team used to spray the inner of the parcel)!
I've been a fan of your videos for a while now and it's only now that I realised that the tattoo on your right arm is the taking of the Triple Gem in Pali! Greetings to a fellow Buddhist?
@@AaronTerenceHughes That's beautiful Aaron. I've been thinking of getting a Buddhist tattoo myself (my first one) to remind myself to be the best version of me too. It's been inspiring to see yours.
Can you review oud minerale by Tom ford? It was private blend but they lowered the price and re formulated it. The private blend version is the only one I've smelled but it's my second favorite behind our wood. It's just as unique as oud wood but perfect for the spring
It sucks that my grandma loves tuberose and wears it all the time. I wish I knew that before blind buying it ☹. Looks like she just scored a free bottle of the stuff.
I love to hear your take on chemistry of raw materials and fragrances... I cant wait to try some of your own. Anyone have recommendation what to try first, if you like spicy, woody,Smokey masculine scents
@@AaronTerenceHughes Thank you SIR Aaron, my father is retiring at the first of the year and I want to get him something to remember... And of course get me something as well to support you.
@@coreystanfill9064 Thank you Corey. Supporting small companies allows me to be creative and make a living. I don't like being called Sir or Mr Hughes or a master perfumer. I find it embarising. I am just a man who loves perfumery, Unicorns and silly name. Nothing special here
A question for you, Aaron - what is it that dictates a fragrance working to it's fullest or being a total failure on your skin? I notice that some fragrances that used to be wonderful on my skin are now bland or nothing at all? Now on the quest to find my new signature fragrance.
Hi Aaron!!! Love your videos and i have a very serious question for you as i'm currently studying perfumery. I get this eggy smell kind of like a rotten egg smell in some perfumes, even if they are aquatic or not, it doesn't matter and i can't put my finger on what exactly is it. Is it ambergris or some kind of amber? That's the only raw material i'm doubtful of. Please, i would love your thoughts 🙏❤
I kinda like that you gave it a double score. Is that something you might keep around kinda like how you sometimes go into the drydown of a formulation for us?
Only if it’s specific to the formulation. This was really good technical perfumery, so I wanted to show my appreciation to the perfumer for amazing work
I personally don't like how Tom Ford has these incredibly talented people working for him but plasters his own name across every box and bottle. I know it's a marketing thing and most people just think he's a perfumer. They should follow the lead of Frederic Malle.
Honestly I am done with the fragrances of Tom Ford as their prices are out of control. Estee Lauder ruins everything. On the positive, I enjoyed the video.
I feel that you would get much more viewers if you could be more precise and more relevant with your marks. You could establish what are the important aspects of a fragrance, for example: performance, skill, originality, beauty of smell, price, quality of ingredients, etc, and point every one of those on a scale from 1-10. Oh, and very important, you could ask your video editor to display those marks permanently, since you first mention them, till the end of the video, that way the viewers would get a more objective and clear picture. At the end, each viewer could make an average of those aspects that interests him the most. One could value originality and skill, one could value performance and price, and so one. I think you could get more people interested! Anyway, i m your dear fan since your very first videos, and love your work! Hope you will follow my advice. Peace unicorns!
First two marks = legal compliance. Next two marks = technical ability of the perfumer (dry down and projection) . Next two marks = the cost. Next four marks if I like it
