I just wanted to say thank you to Trixie & Katya for all they do. They bring a lot of joy into people’s lives and I hope they know how beloved they are ❤️
dear Trixie and Katya, thank you for your wonderful humor. I’ve been in a sad place the past 12 months. My niece, dad and brother passed away this last year. I miss them terribly and one of the things that has kept me laughing and distracted are your shows. Bless you both. Much love Rachel Reilly
Please just never stop this podcast. Take breaks of course. Mental health is important. Never stop doing this show though. I dont care at all what you talk about. It can literally be the Trixie and Katya talk about movies they have and havent deen hour and ill be happy. Sorry, im too lazy to go back and correct my punctuation.
I love that I’m from the same generation as Katya, where we wouldn’t hesitate to record something straight from the tv, rather than Trixie making it complicated with downloading software. Takes me back to when we used to tape our favourite songs straight from radio and the challenge was to hit the pause button before the DJ spoke at the end. (Ok, so I’m the next generation above Katya!!) 😂
You mentioning this took me back to when I was a kid and the top 40 playlist aired on the radio Sunday afternoons in the UK...I'd be poised with my index finger over the radio pause button to edit the cassette tape
The first video I'm watching after a literal cyclone and data being restored. Love you both from South India. Never underestimate your impact and reach...🎉
Just wanted to say thank you to Trixie and Katya for all the content they give us :) I binge watched the entire podcast at least 2-3 times as a way of getting through a heart breaking lesbian breakup lol
These two are getting me through one of the hardest times in my life. ❤ if it weren’t for these uploads I’m not sure how I could cope. I love Katya’s constant random long songs/poems. So off the wall 😂
this episode had a truly wild energy today. it was like, half singing song lyrics, half doing repeating phrases they've had on the brain for months now, full actual deep psychosis. And I loved every fucking second of it
the fact that these women built an entire platform and business along with a bonus podcast where we get the luxury of being a fly on the wall listening to them converse casually as if they were at some cafe or in their lounge is iconic.
i lived in nyc when "empire state of mind" came out and the dance floor would go crazy when that song came on. also cant believe katya forgot she lived in boston when "boston" came out
These two are ignited with the fuel of spooky season! This episode must have been stewing in its time capsule for a month - I've been waiting for it! This one is the best one in a while and I'm so happy to see their joy over their creative juices pumping once again. So thrilled to see what's next.
I went and watched the Lipsynca video. That performance evoked alot of feeling in me. Her performance horrified me in the best way. She stunned me into stillness with her performance. That was art of the highest form. That was something human.
Why do they make me feel so much better? I am so high that I initially wrote 'why do they make me feel so many better' I truly am so starved for friendship and connection and they fill that HOLE in my heart. God bless them.
I think a great deal of that Lypsinka show is featured in the original Wigstock movie. I think I’ve watched that movie at least 100 times since it came out. It absolutely captured the heart & soul of NYC drag in the 90’s. So exciting to this day!
OH MY GOD! THANK YOU! WE NEED MORE PASSENGER TRAINS IN THE US! THANK YOU! Litterally trying to get more trains here in Iowa and some friends of mine helped get the 2nd train between Chicago and Minneapolis/St Paul! Everyone who wants more trains should join their local rail advocacy group(s) and the major national ones (Rail Users Network and Rail Passenger Association) RPA members get 10% off select Amtrak fares (among other things). PLEASE talk about needing more trains in the US! Love it! Thank you from an Iowa train gay!
Omggg I’m early for once, is it the best day ever? And big thanks to my puppy named Buffy for sponsoring this episode. She slays vampires for humanity AND she’s a philanthropist! 😍🥰😂😘
So interested to hear them mention railways!!! I’m an urban planning student and there’s so many discussions about productive and economically rich potential railways ( the Montreal loop for example) there’s a channel called Not Just Bikes that makes more detailed content on the subject, and he actually lives in Amsterdam too.
My hobby is to watch not just bikes and sob. At least in NYC we kinda have intra-city rail and pushes to restore its former glory, but it's a shadow of what it used to be.
THE SYNCHRONICITIES OF IT ALL! Today I found and purchased a ceramic box cutter for the very first time. I didn’t know they existed. One hour later, I’m watching Katya describe a brand new niche tool I’m about to own. Jesus!
Knowing how much they love Kill Bill, I was waiting for Pill Bill. And Katya, with her total memorization of the script from Silence of the Lambs, I was waiting for Buffalo Pill. Come on!!!!!!!
I'm currently in bed recovering from the flu and I'm here to say, I think Katya's song at the beginning has single handedly cured me. I'm feeling better already. Thanks mom.
If you search "Rupaul's Drag Race Season 7 Premiere (NYC) - Katya - Pussy" you can find Katya's original performance of the rap she repeated in this episode, and it is iconic. to remember that after 8 years is legendary
"mama she's doing the labour, I'm doing the work, what are you doing" so many good quotes from miss Katya in these last two episodes like I audibly chuckle
The scientist voice KATYA LMFAO💀💀💀💀💀 On a more serious note your note for canceling shows freaked me out hope you both and your teams are healthy and safe 🤍
