Over the course of a year I’ve had three incidents of the boil, it’s very painful, I’ve had an MRI and it shows I have a tear, tomorrow I’m going to see the surgeon and I’m probably gonna have to have the surgery done I don’t see any other way of it healing

I am diagnosed with a perianal abscess in my right buttock. It is painless, hard and subcutaneous. MRI indicates size as 2.7×2.8×2.3 cm. Texture of the tissue around it is also ok. Rectal inspection as well as MRI suggests no canal formation. As per advise of my anorectal surgeon, I have completed one course of antibiotic. The swelling around the abscess is reduced but the abscess still exists. Except for pinching in sitting posture esp during driving, I have no other problem. Would you favour me with your valued advise?

How many days the antibiotics should be taken ?

Sir, i'm now having this type of problem righ now. since 3 days ago. Is surgery mandatory or can be heal with antibiotic. But i dont have other related problem. Only fever and uncomfortability . I think the main reason is due to my long driving for about 8 hrs on a very bad road.
