@@marlenegold280 well, endless theories. Trying to find a solution to their misery, they asked someone. Overheard it in a conversation. Read about it in a book, or some body of writing. Heard about it in some sort of seminar or conference or speech. Heard about it in a “raising awareness” event about abuse and cruelty, where they ended it with “if you know a child who goes through this, reach to the organization” etc
Yeah and it makes complet sense A kid who has an understanding of sexuality (Like knowing body parts , knowing what acts are perceived as being sexual) will be able to spot when someone is trying to make them do sexual stuff

Ibuprofen works better than paracetamol. It slows down prostaglandin production. Prostaglandin is what makes your uterus contract, so less prostaglandin means less cramps.
@@luiseschill4877and paracetamol can damage the liver if taken excessively. In either case just take the recommended amount and don't take it too often
It’s literally a blood thinner and can cause your cycle to be heavier which in turn can cause even more pain leading to more meds any NSAID shouldn’t be taken on your cycle Ibuprofen, aspirin, alieve
@@miajones5584 not really. The girl who spoke sounded like Peppa Pig, BUT the second girl we see in this clip IS the voice of peppa pig, she doesn't speak in this clip tho.
Heaven i adore kind nuns im glad not all their representation in media is bad! i have a nun that i see all the time at the monastery i visit and shes just so sweet! She gives us cookies and treats when we visit :)
I like midol but if it gets really bad (I have pcos and endometriosis which make my cycle irregular and painful) I use neoproxin which is a really strong one that you definitely should talk to a doctor before taking if you’re young. You can also get a prescription for it if you talk to a doctor. I will say be careful with electric heating pads because if you use them too much or at to high of a temperature they can burn you. But also birth control can help with it (definitely talk to a doctor for this one)
Ibuprofen is an anti-inflammatory so it’s going to reduce cramping better than Tylenol. People say not to take it on your period because it thins your blood but this can actually be helpful if you experience a lot of blood clots on your period. I’ve never had Tylenol help on my period, only ibuprofen works.
And see I’m opposite. You might as well hand me sugar pills if you’re handing me ibuprofen, it’ll certainly be safer when I go to get something that actually works because you aren’t supposed to take both
😅 both technically reduce pain... One just helps with the symptom that causes the pain which is swelling and ibuprofen the other blocks the pain from the cramping and swelling. They both do a job but it depends on what you're looking for and what genuinely works for you some people don't respond to one or the other also people with asthma can't take Ibuprofen
@@ashleyburbank3129Lol the last bit just isn't true. My girlfriend and I both have asthma and we take ibuprofen just fine. It can interact poorly with asthma SOMETIMES, and with SOME people. The blanket statement there was false.
The period pain is so real. And as a kid born to a widowed mom, I didn't want to show weakness. So everytime I had my period, I had to act normal and bottled up my pain. It even went as far that other girls think I'm 'lucky' because I don't have period pain when its just not the case and I just don't want to disappoint anyone
These actors are phenomenal the change in the mood is so noticeable and without it wouldn’t have made this scene so good… the change from laughing and it being funny to worry and seriousness is just great
For the last one, I'd just make a general announcement: "whoever mentioned the NSPCC, I'd like you to come after class so I can go into a deeper explanation with more time"
I’d probably cry if I saw that cause I was abused and I wouldn’t even know who the poor little girl is and it’d kill me because all I ever wanted was someone to hold me tight and tell me that they understand and that I’m safe now

Depends on the person. Aspirin works wonders for my period cramps, and the bleeding was only a tiny bit heavier. Its also great if you have period induced migraines
Oh boyyyyyyy, a really nice science teacher I had did this. Such a nice man. He would do question time at the beginning of class and say we could ask anything (anonymously). He'd give us a "real grown-up answer". Well, 3rd day in and the little shi* I was, thought I'd ask a "silly" question and he'd ignore it. Little did I know, this time he'd READ THEM OUT LOUD. Oh his poor face, he really poured his heart into giving an answer too. I just sat there feeling guilty. The question a 50ish, awkward science geek had to answer (in the early 00's) infront of a group of teenagers: I used to just like boys but now I also like girls, what's wrong with me? So, SO sorry Mr Stevens. You didn't deserve that and I should have thought it through first 😭
Tylenol works for period pain for me since we're all just jotting it down here :3 it also works for the headaches i get too. And instead of a hot water bottle, you can use a hot wash cloth or a heating pad!
Obligatory disclaimer to do your own research about meds instead of listening to strangers on the internet; but you can take paracetamol/acetaminophen with aspirin OR ibuprofen OR naproxen. This is because paracetamol is in a different drug class from those painkillers. If your pain is very strong you can take both, or you can take one then the other if your pain lasts very long and you've already taken the max safe dose of the first one. If your pain is so strong that you feel the need to take this many painkillers that often though, you should see a doctor if possible. While extreme menstrual pain isn't uncommon, it is not normal and often is the result of an underlying issue. You deserve to get treatment for your pain and not be forced to tough it out because it's "normal".
That young actress, she's from Bly Manor. Incredibly talented for her age and I can definitely see her having the same success as McKenna Grace. She also voiced Peppa Pig, Amelie Bea Smith.
Wouldn't recommend aspirin for period pain. It makes the blood thinner and will lead to stronger bleeding! Use ibuprofen, paracetamol or naproxen. And maybe some Butylscopulamin (Buscopan) against the cramps
I dunno anything about the show but never never never take Aspirin while on your period unless your doctor has told you too for some reason, Aspirin is a blood thinner and can make you bleed more heavily, possibly even dangerous levels
Child protective services. Its got a different name everywhere. In the US it also changes from state to state. Top of my head theres DCFS (department of child and family services) and cps (child protective services)
