Periodontal Disease and Invisalign, Braces or ClearCorrect 

I was told by my general dentist that I needed braces to save a few of my teeth. He also recommended consulting a periodontist for the same teeth. I went to the periodontist first, and she told me that I should first get the braces. I got Invisalign, which is now complete, and I still have all my teeth. I have not yet had perio treatment.

Crazy I had periodontal disease then got a root n scale cleaning an after that they said I had to get braces. Even tho Ortho said because I had periodontal disease it would be better for me to get Damon braces specifically. How would Invisalign work better for a patient that had periodontal disease? Wouldn't the gums get puffy again if say they got Invisalign and didn't take care of they're teeth? Wouldn't the Invisalign be tight on they're gums?
