Periphery / Bulb - Juggernaut Clip 

0:50 is one of my favourite riffs from the album, just before Icarus Lives. I've never listened to this song before, loved hearing it expanded on!

@xxLebbersxx This is Bulb. Juggernaut was a concept project he started working on, intended for Periphery (Icarus Lives used to be a section of it). Their upcoming concept album (after the album they're currently producing) is going to be named Juggernaut, but it's not yet clear if it's going to contain these old sections of Juggernaut.

i like all the little clean parts that they used for their full length that they have hidden every where in songs like these

@nickDGK100 Djent's actually that really thick and metallic sounding chug that Misha says he basically picked up from Meshuggah. You're right that it's palm muted of course, but I think the key part is the fact that it's a 2 octave power chord rather than just the top 3 strings like most chugging. But hey I'm not really a guitarist so I'm not totally sure haha

@stringnerd Main reason? He is THE reason I love djent. If it weren't for Bulb I wouldn't know about this style of music AT ALL. Dude is my idol xD

@stringnerd Djent isn't a genre. It's a way you pluck the strings while they're paml muted. but yes Misha is amazing. he's flawless live too. I love misha bc everything he writes is brilliant.

@koranae I'm not quite sure about if it will be on their next album, since I noticed that some of these riffs we're used in the in between parts of songs such as the clean part at around 1:00

@ShadowCoH316 It is childish because of its origins, Djent came from some guy in an interview as a joke. It wasnt made to assist people in understanding music, as Djent is not accepted universally. "tik toc" for a clock is accept universally, not Djent.....hell, Djent doesnt even SOUND like the music we hear so whats the point?
