First video in the new studio! Now I just need to get better cameras...
Recorded with a PRS SE Mark Holcomb into an Axe FX III.
The master track was recorded in Cubase 10, then filmed with multiple camera angles.

You have no where near enough guitar videos on your channel for someone this good.

Excellent cover man! I discovered you when your cover of Dream Theater "Awaken The Master" was recommended to my by the algorithm. That was an awesome cover by the way.

Really nice cover, man! The distort is maybe a little too punchy, but great nonetheless. Mind though sharing an opinion on your SE Holcomb's feeling(how does it feel in hand)? I can see you're using thin necks such as the Majesty and wanted to know your thoughts...

Hey dude, thanks for your feedback! You're right about the neck, it is substantially thicker, and a lot closer to something like a Les Paul. I personally wanted a guitar with a fixed bridge that could handle the more extreme Periphery drop tunings, and this one fit the bill really nicely. If a thicker neck is a deal breaker, then I'd probably advise against it. Otherwise, the build quality is excellent and something I would most certainly recommend.

@@CheeseburgerSoundsThanks for the opinion! I'm used to thinner necks since I have 2 Schecters but I got a Les Paul Plus Top Pro which is said to have a Slim Taper neck, but still wide and thick, and still can play it like butter (has some nice feeling to it) so if it's close to thay, may not be a deal breaker, but the opposite. Gotta try one soon!

Did you ever have fret buzz issues with the 7th string? I have the same guitar and when I play single notes on the 7th string, I get fret buzz at the 1st through 4th frets. And it's not the kind of fret buzz that is inaudible with high gain. It's the kind that causes the fundamental frequency of the note to get dampened substantially. I'm a total nerd about guitar setups, so I have the string action set at 0.070" at the 12th fret and I have 0.010" of neck relief. This is not a truss rod issue. Anyway, I appreciate any feedback you can provide. Cheers!

i'm not an experienced luthier by any means but every time I've had fret fret buzz that low on the frets it was an issue with the nut. You could try raising the string in the nut by putting something under it. If that doesn't help, try sighting your fretboard and see if it's warped at all. Other things to check is to make sure the peg is not loose in the headstock, and raise the saddle for that string slightly. Hope this helps!

It's an honorary title, as my license to practice sandwich-making was revoked due to a botched attempt at a making a pork slider.
