I haven't been so stoked for a record this much in a while. The way you guys approach music is so healthy and interesting, All of you guys are so alert of what you're doing and capture an array of beauty whether it be the tone, the dynamics, witty "easter egg" like moments, the astonishing attention to detail and ghost notes, and the little things that makes all of us replay over and over evolving a whole growing crowd of musicians that honor your work and shape a whole other level of music.you all should take a long look at you selves and see the legends you all are, and the legacy you'll leave for us all to thrive. Not only that but so many diverse crowds support and take in the brilliance the band delivers. The execution of smarts, aggressiveness, funniness, heaviness, puns, slice n dice grooves and ebb and flow riffs, are so on point they deserve a grammy. A band way ahead of its time with no boundaries and no half ass attitude ever considered. just music at its finest.
Funny how people are complaining about 'product placement' when somebody is using Beats headphones, but don't hear anything from them when they see Mayones/PRS etc in the video, keep it classy guys
They are such a good band this entire album idea is so fucking good and every single one of them is talented as hell. I cannot wrap my head around why people are being such little bitches about it. Its so fucking good. And so what if they're getting sponsored? That's great for them, they get to make more money. Sure it's all about the music, but in order to give the best product to listeners they have to get some really expensive stuff. I think it's fucking great they got sponsored and have expanded themselves. If it pisses you off that bad go listen to something else there are plenty of other rad bands that deserve attention, but don't beat down on these guys just because they aren't what they began as.
The webisodes are sick, but I feel the product placement's kinda crappy. tbh though, even if beats sponsored this or whatever, it won't effect the sound of the album, or the quality of the musicianship involved
It's nothing to do with product placement, they've said multiple times that Beats are decent for tracking because they're comfy and loud, but they wouldn't mix on them.
Ppl complain about the new periphery, I doubt you can do better, so if you gonna make shit commentaries about Spencer, just look at yourself and your "vocal range". PS.: Amazing job, can't wait for release!
I understand it is frustrating that everyone gets at spencer when he is in fact and incredible vocalist but to imply that you have to be able to 'do better' to have an opinion or criticise something is ridiculous!
What I gather from this webisode is that the band makes an album then Sponce comes and puts something on top of it. No real connection between the singer and the rest of the band?
Nah, they were tracking vocals at the same time as guitars in separate (but nearby) studios. I'm sure there was a lot of collaboration on fitting the music and lyrics together!
@Benjamin Harang: Totally agree with you man. This is "Periphery" take it or leave it but don't try to diss it. The synergy within the band is so strong and seems like these two records (Juggernaut: Alpha / Omega) shall turn out to be a catastrophic disappointment for their wretched critics!
Benjamin Harang RFT!!! It's so obvious they can still produce music like P1 and 2 but they are heading a direction which is based more on cooperation which I love just as much as their other pieces
