This song is so underrated and barely gets any mention. It's very beautifully written and the grooves kick in so perfectly when they do. And well played sir!
5:47 always gets me when I listen to this song, impressive to see someone actually play it because lord knows Periphery isn't gonna play this one live any time soon. If they play any 15 minute song it's gonna be reptile because it's a crowd pleaser. It's all good tho, Racecar is a gem regardless
@@doozythedoctor It may not be super polished like their latest stuff but I think it's my favorite. I just can't seem to get it out of my head the past couple days
@@nickolasthompson431 mine too. It's been years but I still can't stop listening to this. This whole album is the best work of periphery in my opinion. Totally unique.
Ryan Sadauskis jake was here nearly from the start hes the only one with misha in PI think he came a bit later in it we see him in the clip of jetpack was yes
This is by far the best cover I've seen. Nice job dude. I attempted just a section of it years ago and you even did that part far better than me. The notes seemed correct for 99% of the video - did you have tabs for this that you'd be able to share?
I need to figure out what your right hand is doing on the solo. I play kinda legato because my picking hand isn't great. Looks like you're doing some good hybrid picking and hammers/pulls. That would be better for me. I need to try to learn this solo but I don't have a 7 string.
Dude, you're cover is awesome. I've learned a lot of how to play this song over the past few weeks from watching...however I need some help. Could you shed some light on the tabs or how to play the tappy part at 11:52? The tabs just don't seem to make sense to me and I really want to play it haha.
You should either turn your guitar volume up, or change your tone cuz it's hard to tell which part is you and which part is the recording, especially during the solo. Great playing tho
