My wife is going on PD soon, she did it ones before and after 4 moths she got her kidney transplant. After 15 years with the kidney now she needs diálisis and one more transplant. 😊 .
I do periteneal dyalysis at home i was wondering i get cramps when im filling am i suppose to have them and. Is there a pill i can take to make it stop cramping
I am not a professional in this so please don't take my answer as the absolute truth or anything. I watched another video on PD and they stated if the temperature of your dialysate is not at body temp, it can cause cramping.

Your question is how long to go between stage 1 to 5? That depends on each patient. My wife start in 2017 with stage 1 and progress to stage 5 now Sep/ 2021.
