@@makimera Company tea is straight broken if you use herbivore. You can just stand there holding down the VATS crit button until your mag empties. I can spam down Earl and the SBQ in about 5-10 mins solo with that and VATS crits. If you don't use VATS then YMMV
The surge of new players is a breath of fresh air for this game. All you freshies keep at it, the grind may be long, but the adventure is too. It’s a good ride and fun to experiment with builds later on.
What Grind? Im lvl 122 and cant stop playing, its fun everywhere nothing on this game feels like Grind, just do somthing 😂 that game is not good for my sleep rythm 😂😂😂
@@fishyboy3519literally got the game last week I have 39 hours and I’m level 49 and a half. I started at level 20 and I play the game whenever I have some free time. It’s so fun to run around the wasteland seeing other vault dwellers and playing with my friends. ❤
Started last week and I'm level 57 lmao, but I'm at the point I don't know what I wanna focus on lmao, rn I'm trying to get to vault 79 so I can get I think it's called secret service armor with the jetpack
@@eden20111 Perk Card packs. You still get them from leveling up and from some rewards. And you can pick more perk cards per level up, just now remembered. You have to manually sort them with C/Z or the shoulder buttons(?) though.
One thing I think a lot of people don't do (at least from the coaching I've done) is have perk cards like ammosmith or the lockpick / hack cards available to put on when needed, but only equip them when necessary. Leaving utility cards equipped during combat is hurting you.
I played the game at launch and only made it to level 15 before I gave it up and was disappointed because i loved fallout 4. I downloaded it again a couple weeks ago and now I can’t stop playing I’m only level 48 now but it feels like such a different game I hope the hype doesn’t die out too soon
@@gachpack I made a new character to start fresh, honestly worth it and you level up pretty fast if you listen to the tips in these videos , definitely download it again , in two weeks i only got to level 50 but other people I within the same time frame are higher than me
As a new player your channel has made getting into the game so much easier I was so overwhelmed at first but im having an absolute (nuclear) blast and holy man the friendliest and most generous community I’ve ever seen and with the current state of the industry fo76 has been a much needed reminder of why I love games for over 32 years now ❤
Freshy 76 player here and I love the game. Believe it or not, 76 is my first Fallout game and I'm sure to the shock of many, I'm not mad about it at all. (: Now I have all the single player games to enjoy too!

a special note about the weapon damage perks like commando and rifleman that should be mentioned is that each rank you add to the perk does not add the same percent increase as the first rank of the perk so it may be preferable to keep different versions of the perk card so that you can allocate special points to other areas more easily example: commando, commander expert and commando master together add 30% damage when each at rank one for 3 total points required whereas max ranking all 3 requires a stat investment of 9 for a bonus of just 60% meaning you require triple the special points for just double the increase from rank one of these perks. if you really only want to use one weapon type, the 9 point requirment feels less bad but for those who want to use a wider aray of the game's weapons, consider keeping a version of those perks at rank 1 so that you can adjust your build more flexibly
New to 76 here just started 3 days ago and im level 33 already,I’m having a blast everything is so fun and nothing feels Grundy yet so much to find and events to play!! Been having fun building a heavy weapon PA build fallout is a classic favorite of mine so glad to finally play another again. (P.s. you and your videos are a godsend for help!)
I only just started in the game. Having a lot of fun. Picked it up cause of a mark down. Was on the ps5 but changed to pc with the game pass and steam. Thanks for all the videos they’ve been a lot of help and the players I’ve met in game have all been great 😊
I experimented with ricochet when i came back to the game, it didnt seem too viable at all using it with max stacked "no power armor" defensive perks as the "ricochet" dosnt proc too often but now knowing Vamps weps will proc with it is kinda awesome! ALSO i recently realised if you use ghoulish and a vamps gatling plasma on Scorchqueen in the nuke zone you basically are unkillable aha its pretty fun to just roam around nuke zones like a super mutant, Loving the vids!
big fan of your videos mr. west tek, I played this game on launch and really made it to level 15 after a lot of confusion in the early days. Idk, it just wasn't making sense to me early on. I redownloaded the game after watching the series on amazon and haven't been able to put it down for the past week. I highly recommend watching the tv show as it's also just as addictive as the game. Gonna try fallout 1st for a month or so and see if it's worth it. Rock on vaulters and surface dwellers!
Keep on mind there is also 'big' version of that, it looks same and all, but has even higher capacity (vould not bother crafzimg any of less than 50th level) And ye, I also found out only later trough game that there is more into backpacks
You'll want to level up damage perks pertaining to your weapon of choice. Don't use any perk that alters your hunger and thirst. At 25, you can go to the perk card machine and respecc.
An odd perk I was using while levelling up is Good Doggy. The amount of Dog Food you find. Pair that with Carnivore mutation, albeit you gain no buffs but you gain a lot of progress to the food bar when consumed.
Just a tip about Friendly Fire, any fire type damage heals allies, meaning a hellstorm with napalm, or the Perfect Storm will allow you to heal people from a distance!
@@MrWestTekalso I had a question too I'm relatively new to the game I'm level 50 do you know how I could get a vampire weapon or might you have a video on it..?
Something I've noticed with Super Duper is that it activates a lot more often if you exit the cooking station every time it activates and then go back in.
With the Vampire legendary effect, you simply need six options: 1. Ricochet 2. Good resistance for all types of damage 3. Fast fire rate 4. Solar armor set 5. Healing factor mutation 6. Ghoulish
I have an annoying glitch where I can get new perk cards after leveling up, but it wont increase the number of perks so I can’t equip it. Example: I have 8 perception, I level up and get a new perception perk card, but perception is still 8 so I have to swap it out. (I’m lvl 60 right now)
I just started playing and I honestly just been throwing random cards on but now that i actually understand how they work I’m definitely gonna change some things
I have a buyer, a gun maker/ammo and armor/repair load outs as well as a heavy, melee, etc. 8 load outs and growing. Less perk card changing that way. Be nice if they would accommodate load outs by allowing at least one different Legendary perk per load out. Also be nice to have different kits for each load out (armor, weapons).
13:41 If you are a newish bloodied build, you might be better off with 1 point Better Crit and 3 point Serendipity instead of the other way around like West here. 1 point BC gives 50% bonus to Crit while 3 point gives 100%, so diminishing returns are a factor here. Not so with Serendipity. Obvi giving up damage for defense but maybe that's what you need if you feel you're dying too much
Used to play on Xbox in fact I have 96 days on Xbox , recently got back on the game on pc about 2 weeks ago and am loving the game now it’s so much better
Earned a sub. Love the name. Love the speed of speaking, the annunciation. Im new here. Not new to fallout but new to 76. Level 40 because i decided to do the start at 20 since i can reassign perk points later. Events alone and being carried through got me to where im at. My fellow wastelanders were nothing short of generous. One guy said follow me and led me to power armor. Another gave me a 3 star legendary bow i use religiously.
I've been grinding the heck out of 76 to get the Cremator. Two sessions of 32 and 35 hours. Not just in 76, watching Disney+ too, but mostly 76. I want the Washer/Dryer. I've been jump-scared so many times. I made myself a L20 Shotgunner, switched to Heavy when I looted a .50 cal. Now I want to be an ammo manufacturer. I have Ammosmith maxed. What would you recommend? I want a crapload of ammo to sell.
A little something to add to the weapon class perk cards. It's better to have 3 level 1 cards than it is to have 1 level 3 card. A level1 card gives you 10%, so 3 of those is 30%. A level 3 gives you 20%. So if you're leveling up to get the perk cards, go with one regular, one master and one expert (order does not matter). THAN go for level 2 and 3 of the cards.
On the chemist perk you forgot to mention pair it with the dupe perk in luck. Can't think of the name of it, but it has chance to double everything crafted. Edit: Super duper is the perk card I was thinking about.
Im a newer player and was really looking forward to perk coins at the end of the season pass this season since this is my first season ill be here at the start of right. So those arent available anymore... being able to just use more or higher tier perks in my very first build more quickly would've been great. I played about 3 weeks this past season and i got to rank 83. Unfortunate i didnt start playing earlier 😢
Starched Genes isn't a must for me. I have all the mutations and i just make sure to avoid decon arches or using radaway, just using Nuka Grape to keep my rads down if i need to, or just making sure that at least one armour piece had rad healing 😋
I've recently started playing the game I'm loving it! I just wish I could find a more powerful silenced rifle to use. right now I'm using legendary gatling gun it's grown on me but need silent gun to go with my chinese armor
At some point, I wish perk cards became permanent. Like crafting cards for example. Having to completely swap a loadout to craft ammo or craft weapons gets kinda old. “Going to sell to a vendor, time to swap on the good bargain card, okay I’m done time to swap back to inspiration”
Not sure I’ll ever fully understand the perk cards. I’m not one of the (fallout is my whole life) players but I do enjoy it and am trying to get to where I can more easily kill higher level enemies, this whole 1200-2000 rounds of .50 to kill a Sheepsquatch is ridiculous. I always go out in my trusty excavator armor as well.
"Perk Cards You Should Be Using" >lists every gd perk in the game some feedback if you want your videos to be more useful instead of overwhelming to a new player like me. Narrow it down to one or two NON-bloodied builds (because no new player is going to be able to put together a bloodied build yet) a level 50 character could equip with their available perk points. Separate them thematically, as in don't alternate between combat and crafting perks or you're gonna have a listener running around with Scrapper equipped all the time like I did for a day Thank you for the Tadpole backpack video btw. I completed mine today and you were a big help
I just hit 50 but still haven’t decided what build I should be. lol I don’t even have that great of weapons so it’s hard to know what I’m gonna like. I know it’s awful but I have commando, rifleman, and shotgun perks all on because I switch weapons so much xD I need to learn about crafting legendaries or whatever so I can start to try to get a good weapon
SMH 🤦 man’s demonstrated ricochet against a glowing behemoth, who doesn’t have ranged attacks, it wasn’t ricochet and vampires that kept you alive, it was serendipity
I dont know if you have one already, but can you do a video on things to do after finishing the main quests and a good chunk of the sidequests? Im almost out of obvious things to do and am kinda lost!
My account is definitely bugged because all power stations are broken and I need to do a lot of stuff to get them to work BUT that perk that gives you double of what you craft props EVERY time, and I'm not kidding, it goes off every single time I have it equipped. An annoying tradeoff because I'm a heavy weapon power armor build but whatever I guess, it's really op when crafting ammo
You can grab an extra load out or 2 (store/my account has perk loadouts & extra CAMPS)… have a build for battle & another for crafting/shopping/farming, etc. so you don’t have to trade off
It sucks that all new players coming are going to leave as soon as they see how limited they are without paying for p2w stuff like everything that's included with fallout first
No need to pay to play this game you don't need to carry one thousand weapon on you stash or on your character , most of scrap are useless after you have build your camp , and after you reach a certain le bel even repair your stuff cost nothing because you'll get bunch of repair kit. If you can't play the game without paying you need to rethink how you manage your stuff. For me the problem is the lack of content when you reach the end game and the stupid weapon balancing.
I'm a new player. I just hit level 53 a few days ago. I'd like to know how often we earn perk card packs? I also need to know if it's possible to unscap perk cards? I actually got rid of some key cards on this list, not knowing what I was doing 🤦. You have a great channel
Returning 76 player. Made a fresh account, chose commando as the level 2o skip but uhhh.. I lost my combat rifle and stuck using a lever action, how can i change?
Can someone help me with the conclusion on serendipity/ricochet? Is ricochet just better because it works all the time? Is there a difference if you use a low health build?
Serendipity is better than ricochet on low life build , i tried several times and always serendipity was better for survability , of course you can play both of them but depend your build , for melee build it's very strong to have both.
Hello! I’m trying to make a sneaky, pistol build with no power armor. What would you guys recommend? I’ve noticed that sneak here is…ummm…dubious lol. I can get several sneak attacks in with a loud .44 pistol before I’m in DANGER. Even if they already started shooting, as long as I’m in CAUTION, sneak attack baby!
i have looked all over my perk card inventory , and I just have this one (science) perk card 'but no (science expert) card ..maybe I need to level the Science Card up again but it's already a maxed out 2 star card. (level 104)
As a low health build I like how Serendipity constantly saves me from fall damage. Some Charisma perks are missing here, like Hard Bargain and either Inspirational for XP farming or Lone Wanderer for heavy gunner builds.
bird bones mutation reduces fall damage by a ton. it also makes you fall slower. combined with marsupial it's like the entire world is low gravity. its actually pretty immersion breaking for me though so i will probably remove it as soon as i find someone selling cheap serums again so i can pray to rngesus and hope radaway doesn't strip away too many of my other ones.
Does any1 have the zenith alien blaster plan to sell ? Or someone that could put it on for me on my ab ? I'm on ps4 and the game crash 9/10 when I try to do the invader from beyond events
I got some high level items just laying on the floor why is that 😂 marine armour 50 calibrous gun ultrasite armor i was like damn and no one was around
