I definitely loved perm rods whenever I had that transitioning phase, it was perfect in blending my new growth and relaxed. But I never tried it on fully natural hair🤷🏾‍♀️

great results 👍😁👍 you're right about switching up the colors. i also use smaller rods on looser sections of my hair so the curls come out more uniform overall.

I haven’t done a blown out perm rods set in a few months..my hair wasn’t that long sooo lol!! I prefer to do them on wet hair but yours came out so cute, fullllll and fluffy!! I feel like my wet perm rods hold better than my blown out perm rod sets!! You know we want to see your perm rod set on wet hair!! I love perm rod sets

Cayuuuuuuute Fren!!! I have NEVER tried ANY type of rod set on my hair since I’ve been natural. I may try it on blown out hair tho, cuz Chiiiiiile I don’t have a hooded dryer and I wouldn’t even play myself like that tryna do a rod set on these here low porosity curls while wet!!!

I’ve done one ☝️ perm rod set using the same teal green rods & it came out horrible on blown out hair... I should have never used the wet line Xtreme... smh 🤦🏽‍♀️ I will try again using The Mane Choice Pink lemonade & coconut mousse. I just pray my perm rod set look 👀 as fierce as yours fren... 😍😍

I wanted something that could moisturize but still give a soft hold. I also didn’t want anything too liquid-y bc it would take longer to dry.
