A short video filmed while Narsanna Koppula was demonstrating how to make a clay pot pitcher for use in dryland irrigation. @Permaculture Design Course 2015. Aranya Agricultural Alternatives. permacultureind...
I have a question. The rope is used to plant a row? You mentioned 10 meters in the video and am I correct in saying a clay pitcher pot may be used to water a 10 meter row as the water will flow / seep down through the rope and water the row? Thank you for the information, our summers here in Louisiana USA can be very hot and using clay pots under the soil could help. Also, I wanted to ask, the water added into the lid is to attract birds so they can shit and help fertilize the plants? Is this correct or am I misunderstanding? We have mosquitoes bad here so I would have to use a lid. Thank you for the videos.
Hey. I'll share a video on how to use pots on raised beds. - Water is added to the lid to prevent evaporation loss and also attract birds. See this Pot for fruit tree planting video. ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-xVEdQsQNzk8.html.
