I love that you talked about water resilience and the importance of keeping water. Agriculture uses/wastes whole lot of water and we should really learn from you.

Thank you Kate, Abel and his team have done a great job of using water wisely and creating a rich soil that holds onto it for long periods, making such a difference when there is a dry spell! Do you have any questions that you would like to ask Abel? (If so I’ll add it to future videos 👍)

I had just clicked in on this video & the post Land Workers' Alliance about Abel being the new Comms Coordinator popped on my IG feed on my phone ..... may be a sign I need to come visit Glasbren in the near future 😁 Congrats on the new position & loving these videos!

It was meant to be 😂 It’s definitely worth a visit, even having been there many times now I’m still finding new things each time!!

I wish I could give you some of the unusual volume of rain we’ve been getting where I live (U.S., high desert). Ordinarily, we would go weeks (sometimes a month or more) without rain, so water resilience and management is a really helpful topic for me. Once again, super helpful video!

Wow. Whereas for us in the UK, especially Wales it’s rare to go a couple weeks without rain 😁 No worries Ben, thanks again for the questions!

A great, informative video. Thank you both. Volunteering with yourselves at Glasbren is very nurturing...and a free shower!!😅 Also, a lovely basket for collecting produce near the beginning! Where could we maybe see a tutorial for that??

Thank you!! If you’re back over the coming months you may make it in a future video, I was thinking I need call me along on a day when the volunteers are there! Haha and you made my day asking about the basket 😁 It’s going to be the next video released on the 4th July (I try to upload every 2 weeks on a Tuesday) There are other weaving tutorials in the channel including smaller random weave baskets, check out our videos or the ‘Growing & weaving with natural materials’ playlist

Awesome video! Thank you for answering my question! Appreciate it! Question for next months video for you both… can you remember the point on your journey where you realised you had found the “thing” you knew you were meant to be doing? The lightbulb moment? Do you keep getting loads of ideas for future projects to keep things moving forward?

Love that question!!! Especially as it’s not a totally gardening related question. Glad to help, how’s the growing going so far?
