Well, considering the 2nd amendment allows people to own weapons that designed to kill, I would hope that is the case. This law is a step backwards. We will see many issues arise due to this. What a failure.
Of course the instructors are going to say most people aren’t properly trained the ccw instructors will be losing money because of this law! 99% of people that did come in we’re just their for the permit. 😂
When passed in FL they only saw a dip of about 10-15 percent in people signing up for classes to get CCW permits; the vast majority of people who want to carry will still get trained. If this instructor guy really believes what he's saying b/c of that implication then he's being unrealistic and paranoid. Especially considering FL is way more wild west than SC.
@@LGPanthers1 I’m from Florida originally and don’t get it twisted. There is alot of crime in Florida but just like South Carolina it all happens in the big cities only difference is that Florida has more big cities compared to South Carolina. Thats why crime is higher.
@@LGPanthers1Not paranoid. Just in touch with the actual skill-set of most people. Not all people, most people. Heck, those that are skilled, shoot much better than most law enforcement. It's just that most folks that carry, lack the skills to be effective at placing shots or decision making to stay out of jail. Those are simply the facts.
Re-ratifying the 2nd Amendment isn’t something to celebrate, rather it’s something to lament as fundamentally unnecessary. Indeed, the so-called “sensitive areas” limitation is a partial surrender to unconstitutional suppression efforts, and makes vulnerable individuals in places where we KNOW tragedies have already occurred. Americans have the right to carry, however they choose, everywhere and anywhere, ALREADY. If we understand the point AND meaning of the Bill of Rights (NOT Bill of “Permissions”)…we will see this readily. Undeterred exercise is what’s missing. That remains up to US…
Lucky them as for me In 6 days on May 10th 2024 I will be doing training. We need a f.o.i.d card and CCL permit witch Allright with me. Remember if you get dined the police have prove beyond reasonable doubt that you are a risk. Make sure you do proper training before and you you're gun state by state laws.
@@Dcm193 Anything that was created with the purpose to kill should require proper training. It’s literally common sense. I’m a HUGE gun rights advocate and love firearms but this bill is absolutely extreme.

@@AlecWyld Shove off with that. An incident happend years ago in texas. A woman went out to eat with her parents and left her pew pew inbthe car becauseof potential felonies. A gunman came in that. Day that didn't care about lives or her parents and killed them both and killed other people as well. So I don't want to hear it.

Let me ask you this; do you think an individual with a firearm and no training stands a chance against a malicious gunman with training? Stop interjecting emotion into your argument. It gets you literally nowhere.
Criminals (even criminal 18yr olds), don't obey the law to begin with. It wouldn't matter which laws were made or how many of them were created with the intention of restricting these individuals bc they already break existing laws that have been in place for years. Other ppl need to be secure with their right to safely exist. No one should be afraid to insure the safety of their own life. Self preservation by any means necessary shouldn't be criminalized when an individuals life is in jeopardy. With Constitutional Carry, the rest of us (who DO obey the law), will be more likely to carry and protect ourselves/ loved ones, without fear of being punished for attempting to do so. It is a natural human birth right for any person to protect and defend themselves against anyone who attempts to deliberately cause them harm.
