I think for time-pressured tests knowing the formulas can help. I agree you should investigate the origin of them though, while my videos are more about execution than origin.

quantum mechanics and statistical mechanics are pretty much all predicated on these ideas. I just took the p-chem class and we used this math to justify our definition of entropy. The concept of entropy can also be defined as the multiplicity of a system. Which is just a fancy way of saying "how many possible ways a system can arrange itself". Anyway, that's my opinion after taking 1 course in statistical mechanics.
