Thank you sir. Since I myself had this issue and was treated conservatively, I can now try to do this procedure in any failed conservative case. But I think in a failed conservative case, there will possibly be a lot more degeneration and tears in the substance of the tendon right? So we should always do an MRI first before planning an surgical repair?

Doctor in 2021 i had the injury while playing football i had peroneal subluxation and after a year i done surgery for this but the surgery failed and 3 months after doing surgery i went to another hospital they did a surgery it's been 4 months now but i still get little amount of subluxation but there is no pain when subluxation happening is this normal or should i be worried?

Doctor, I had my surgery for peroneal tendon subluxation a year back. Now I'm experiencing some kind of movement in that area. I asked my doctor and he said " there might be some additionally grown tissues which are moving and if you experience pain then we can see it". After a month now i can feel some significant movement there but that is not painful. What should i fo sir?

Can I play cricket after this surgery? Or other sports?
