This boss has 70% resistance to Physical DMG, so use any other element to defeat it. Only reason I used physical razor is to kill the boss slower and allow more abilities to be shown.
Welp good thing I don’t use my ultimate power ups that often only on bosses and enemies with a lot of health. Good thing I use mostly all claymore characters as well
@@ayato1961 i am 35..and i am so glad I didn’t do my asention task bcs i knew this shit was there. Also, its way easier to farm for materials when bosses r lvl 41 and my characters are lvl 60.. (Despite being lvl 60 and this shit being lvl 41 it still wont die xD)
I'm at AR37 and has 1600 primos and was like "I'm on like 40 pity so I'm gonna use this to build pity for Baal when she comes out and then I got Ayaka 💀 my first 5 star character as a F2P
@@meguminvirus8909 I’m having more trouble with this boss than Oceanid it’s easy with fire and electric charters I like to pair beidou and fishl and it goes really easy
I need to fight this boss for Ayaka and I was dreading it because I found the boss so difficult. Thank you so much for posting this guide. It really helped a lot.
When I saw that portal the first day release of inazuma, I thought “oh a shortcut to the abyss I guess” so I flew the warpool but it lead me here instead and fckn panicked when it just doesn’t die. haha
I'm still wondering how you beat that thing so fast considering the insane physical resist on it. Even with Fischl/Zhongli/Bennett/Eula, I don't feel like I'm doing the same kind of damage.
the tip to fight any automaton is that don't use physical atk, iirc, they have 70% physical res one way to make do with it is to use super conduct, which lower the physical res by 40%
@@cheesypoohalo you should scroll through the archieve to see how reaction works. Also, this is why Xinyan is abandoned by the community, because she's a physic character, yet her element is pyro, make it hard for her to proc super conduct
YOW we have the same exploration party for inazuma! Eula/Zhongli/Bennett/Fischl. But it was okay for me thou after I read in the guide to kill those minibots first lol
I swear it's impossible to dodge when it rolls into you lol, once you remove the fire effect with Hydro (I just use Barbara) it's much easier, but the first part always deals damage to me.
I was so confused which add I should attack when I fought it for the first time without knowing anything. 😂 I've just been going around and attacking every single one to check which one takes damage. Sksksksk Thanks for this!
Here's the guide for unlocking the teleport waypoint: ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-gHIdrxmLmkY.html It involves 2 major world quests and a decent amount of cube-rotation puzzles.
This boss has different attack patterns when you fight it long-range, like with ganyu. It transform into a cube and roll towards you and try to smash you, and you can dodge it by dashing to opposite direction when it get close. Also, during the laser beam, if you running away from it, it will stop
Already been farming this boss but your boss guides helped in my early game so now it's tradition to watch through all your boss guide as sign of respect for the good work. Salute 👏
It's very lucky getting a 5 star until there is that one ascension material that wants you to suffer, like heck if I want to max out your ayaka you'll have to go through all of the pain
Yes first i fought to get the enhancement for my ayaka (lvl 40) it's hard & taking rlly long time. I use barbara too, so it can freeze after hitted by barbara + ayaka
This is so helpful! This dude gave me such a headache when I first fought it but after watching this it was much easier since I wasn't running all over the place!
When I first fought this boss, I had no idea what to do, my team consisted of my DPS Qiqi, ascended Lv 80 Electro traveler, an underleveled Mona to taunt ADD's and an underleveled Yanfei for vape reactions, Yanfei died most of the time since I wasn't used to her playstyle and she feels really slow, and Mona did abysmal damage even with Wine and Song, meaning my damage output came mostly from Superconducts and Qiqi's sword swings. It took 20+ minutes to beat the boss, only to find out it was a completely optional boss and had nothing to do with the sakura cleansing quest.
1:50 From experience i think it's easier to dodge fully by going to the left and let him push you out. I got it to be somewhat consistent and fairly easy.
Thanks for this guide mate. I've been stuck at Level 40 fighting level 62 bosses and this guide helped me push for the breakthrough to level up my main characters. I just didn't connect that some couldn't be damaged and thought I just wasn't strong enough to damage them. Saw the video once and smashed it with no deaths on the next run. Smashing.
The first time i fought this boss, I had no idea what to do once he summoned the minions and i just left the boss area. Thanks for this guide, i looked it up after i realized i had to face the boss in the event!
I'm a bit surprised by the comments, I actually found this boss to be one of the easiest ones to fight (I usually use Kazuha, Ayaka, Xingqui and Fischl). What was truly a pain to fight for me was Maguu Kenki, I just couldn't fully get the gist of his attacks. Great video as always, though, thanks for providing us with helpful content!
really thankful for this guide bcuz I've always wondered why the other adds are so tough even using my level 70 Diluc, didn't know that only one of them the real target.
Needed help to beat the add phase, thanks! I rocked a Klee, Fischl, Bennet and Xingqi build and the fight was pretty fun. Overall This is my favorite "Geo" Boss
That's how you know which 1 to attack, I was honestly confused when fighting it, just attacking each until 1 took damage. This boss is still relatively easy, I went into it a while back on accident, not knowing what was happening, but because it was part of that domain event, it was a simple fight. I did not know the runes tells you which part is vulnerable though, that helps a lot.
Watching this 2yrs later since never had to fight it & wanted to improve Spiral Abyss times. Knowing that the one with the circle is the one to target is great to know, was just attacking everything on sight not really knowing what was going on.
Thank you, I managed to beat him on my first try even though I stumbled on it by mistake. Damn it took a while tho, with just traveler lvl 70, Barbara Bennett and bidou all at lvl 50
Thank you so much I've been struggling since my world level hit 4 I had no idea you had to hit the one with the runes the game just kept saying hit their core to disable them so I thought you could only hurt them when they were down
Thank you so much! I defeated this boss twice before and then left it alone for 3 months, the forgot what I was doing when I went back because I’m dumb lol
I spent AGES fighting it and it had the tiniest bit of health left, was fighting the smaller ones then suddenly it bugged a little and the boss reset. Got all its health back. I was so pissed.
I just started fighting this boss in the current event for the first time and I’m a moron. I thought the runes floating around the add was a shield so I actively avoided that one and was attacking all the others! Derp! This makes things MUUUUUUCH easier.
Only now, a lv80 Ayaka and maxed out shop for Beidou event later, when I rewatched this video I saw you need to defeat only ONE ruin creature during the add phase (the one marked by runes). All the time I clowned myself and made it much harder by gathering all adds together and brute forcing with Xiao and Zhongli 🤡
I used that northern water portal myself, my team was Electro MC, Klee, Xingqui, and Qiqi. Took me a while and some food to revive characters to take the machine down, but I did. AR56 so level 93 or so boss vs three level 80's and one in the 70's (Xingqui is the 70's, I still need to get materials so he can hit 80). Weapons: Festering Desire (90, R5 MC), Sacrificial Sword (level 80, R5 just improved it to head toward 90 after this fight. Qiqi), The Flute (I think in the 70's or near that. R2 at least. Xingqui), Lost Prayer of the Sacred Wind (R1 maybe R2. Level 80. I will be pushing that to 90. Klee). Artifact Sets: MC: Gladiator Klee: Crimson Witch of Flames Xingqui: Instructor Qiqi: mixed (Blizzard Strayer and Gambler) My artifacts are not the best by far. I may switch Xingqui to a Heart of Depths set eventually. Qiqi can use a good full Blizzard Strayer as I'm aiming for a berserk healer approach as healing goes by attack (currently runs 25xx out of combat, with 400 to 800 per attack in combat while Herald of Frost is active). Klee can use a better Crimson Witch set. As for the MC, I probably will stick with Gladiator, but make some improvements where possible. If we can ever ear mark a set for a character that will be a big help. I still have a lot of artifact farming to do, but that waits until I have weapons, levels, and talents where I want them.
I actually fight this boss on accident while trying to get the underwater waypoint and it took me forever to beat it and I had trauma because of that portal.
I think the add phase actually has some kind of time duration since today while I was fighting this boss I paused the game just when he was summoning them and like 2-3 minutes later when I resumed the game they dissapeared as soon as they spawned then I continue damaging the boss and after defeating him I got a secret achievement which says smth like "defeat the mechanical array without destroying his allies"
Lucky are those who've been fighting this thing since day one of update 2.0 cuz then they'll be able to level up their Itto and Gouro once they come out in 2.3.
For both the sword attack but moreso on the razor disk, I found it better to dash to my left (or into the attack, or in the same direction as the attack) contrary to the animation suggesting to dash to my right. Maybe due to both attacks having more active frames on the right.
The first thing I have done after inazuma is 1. unlock all statues of seven 2. unlock waypoints 3. unlock domains 4. try all domains one time 5. try new boss then i went for the rest.... :)
Idk if this is a bug or not, but when this perpetual pain in the arse summons its pods you can just pause the game by opening the menu for 2 minutes or so, apparently the time still ticking. The pods will return to the main body after you continue the game. Clearing the boss without killing the pods will give you achievement also. This method is slow, took me 30 minutes to kill the boss. I'm underleveled, so I've always been using this way to farm materials, just need 30 more lol.
zhongli with 44k hp & shield food = no dodge req'd... + fischle, noelle & c5 ganyu... melts this boss I've been taking it down 75% [25% remaining] before its adds spawn... noelle burst takes down important add and remaining boss hp, whole fight takes maybe 1:20
I am lvling all my characters up for summoning orbs (first to lvl 50, then ill boost my mains to 80 and then again others to 70 for final orb). Its gorou turn to lvl up and guess what he needs... i deal no damage with my team (lvl 70 diluc and xiao with lvl 50 barbara and bennet support vs lvl 83 boss) and barely make a dent to adds be4 they merge again. My question is, after finally killing add does it respawn in future phase 2? Is it doable with current team or should i prioritize getting dps to 80?
Bruh I thought that you were suppose to attack the other ads cuz I thought that the one with the symbols was being protected, no wonder I cannot get a single star in the current floor 12 💀
thanks for this almost had no idea what I'm doing during phase 2...manage to defeat it (it takes long ngl) I'm using razor, rosaria, barbara for heal, and ning (i should have switch to benny for additional heal)
