As you walked down the road towards the car park in Perranporth ( which get's busy. There's a loo there ) there is a nice pub on the left with nice food and there are plenty of quirky shops around it's streets. As you walk onto the beach there is a fabulous pub / bar on the right hand side as well as a hotel. It's a surfers paradise with it's rip currents, shops and VW camper vans everywhere during summer. Nearby Fistral Beach in Newquay is a surfers heaven too, along with it's massive hotel on the headland. The movie 'The Witches' based on a Roald Dahl story starring Anjelica Huston was made there. Up along the North Coast is Holywell Bay ( Holy Wells are / were there, hence the name ) with it's glorious beach and sand dunes. I have driven my car onto it's beach but it's not recommended. There is a small car park there right near a pub. And Boscastle, which nearly got washed away during a flood disaster. You should also visit Tintagel on it's North Coast. home of King Arthur, with it's quaint town and castle ruins. Over on the East Coast is Polperro, another quirky fishing village. No cars allowed so you either park up the hill, and then walk, or get horse drawn or motorised transport down into the village. I have been going to Cornwall for over 60 years, and it's all Cornish ice cream, pasty, and cream tea heaven! Though don't bother with Lands End. That is awful and was turned into a commercial amusement area where you now get ripped off by it's famous world town and city signposts, which is now owned by one family. The Lizard and Lizard Point is worth a visit, as is St Ives and it's interesting streets and shops and pubs ( the 13th century Sloop Inn, with it's alcoves and history, and the famous art in town. Park on Seamans pier wall opposite the Sloop Inn for several hours ) Drive alongside the harbour through tiny streets to get to it. Also on the way down to Cornwall ALWAYS stop off at the famous Jamaica Inn pub on the edge of Bodmin Moor. Made famous by Daphne du Maurier and then Alfred Hitchcock. I was last in there 3 hours before Boris Dumbson announced our first lockdown at the start of the Covid pandemic. It would take a lifetime to explore everywhere in Cornwall. Just up the hill out of Perranporth is another fab pub with fab food down a country lane in the middle of nowhere. The Smugglers Den Inn at Cubert. www.thesmugglersden.co.uk/

Looks a lovely place, it’s lovely to see all these Cornwall videos as Ive never been yet. I must say thank you for all the lovely sea and beach shots at the end of each video , it lovely to see the sea espessially when it’s a bit lively in the winter and as I live in a landlocked . I can almost smell the sea air.

WoW! What a vast and beautiful beach! The cliffs and the different colours of layers are amazing. I bet on a sunny day even more! They too look like they would be fun to climb and then sit and look out to the horizon and watch the waves or passing boats! Also, I thought it was unusual to see the bright teal blue paint on several of the buildings. Not your usual fare you see at seaside. Thanks again Neil hope your trainers dried quickly! Cheers! :)

Great video mate, my family and I stay in Perranporth every year when we go on holiday. We absolutely love it there. My fiancée is from Derbyshire, she’s rather hardy when it comes to inclement weather too. Her grandmother was from just outside Perranporth which is one of the reasons we go there and it makes her quarter Cornish too.
