Peça da qual tive o prazer de tocar!!! Fez parte do repertório de uma banda marcial na qual toquei. Ganhamos 1° lugar em muitos concursos defendendo esta lindissima peça! Eu tocava glockenspiel nela.
This is the best interpretation I've heard of this song. Very well played! The balance was really good, and so were the timings and articulations, as well as the tone qualities. I'm very impressed!

uma obra prima, me lembro do meu Tio e Maestro Flavio Marvila arrancando lagrimas da plateia ao apresentar tal musica em um festival, e claro, sendo campeão por unanimidade!
Magnífico Ateneo Musical de Bembrive! O naipe de metais em especial as trompas, são sensacionais e o garoto do xylophone é um show à parte! Belíssima apresentação poucas vezes vistas! Parabéns! 🎼🎶👏👏👏
I came here looking for music by James L. Hosay, and I was stunned by the superb musicianship of this band! They outperform even the school bands of Texas!
Oboe part is pretty difficult and tiring..good job to her... But the horn section was amazing throughout the piece with only 2 players?seriously🤩👍🏻? This is the best version for persis overture during this time because we might find a lot of recording nowadays. Bravo everyone!👍🏻

the whole piece is very clearly heard.all the parts of the instruments were heard and though there were squeaks here and there, its just brilliant. i haven't heard any school band playing better than this.,
One of the best recordings I have heard of that piece - which is such an amazing piece love. Love playing it. Such a good balance within the band, even if there were a few miss-hit notes here and there. and big ups to the kid on the glocks!!
@sayuhedead I love the low voices of this song. It adds to the texture and the overall awesomness. The underlying rhythms in the low voices is what makes them truly stand out in nearly any song. See? They have their own special qualities.
OMG! tht was wonderful! not to mention magical! it was outstanding! i cnt believe they cn play such complicated music..they are gud for a band to sound like tht..i wish our band could play like this some day, i think the xylophone was great and so was the oboe solo..i love how they got each part correct and how they cn make it sound so perfect..they expressed each part perfectly, the horns and the woodwinds co-operated very well! i better shut up now..knowing tht my comment is so damn long.. XD
This is my 100th time watching. For some reasons, if persis had lyrics, it would summarize my thoughts and emotions. Not only is this band able to put together brilliant music at a minimal musician, they are able to capture the intended emotions! Ok that didn't make sense.
This is actually very good, sounds like the recording that comes with the score. However i feel that the sounds feels very technical, very perfect. Such that it sounds like the band is playing an exercise with a metronome keeping pace.
I'm so flipping excited over this piece! My band gets to play it for contest this year! And somehow I managed to get first part on trumpet, so those high notes man, woah, it's just amazing. :D
