It is always good to have a convert speak in his field of expertise. God can use everything from our pre-penitant lives for the good of others. This is the case with Ronald Blue. He is a master teacher in finance. I thank him very much for his work.

I would like to answer the first question about the rich young ruler in the Gospel of Matthew 19:16-30, and the Gospel of Mark10:17-31 and the Gospel of Luke 18:18-30. The problem Jesus was addressing was the condition of the rich man's heart. The rich man's wealth had taken the place of God in his heart. The Bible says, in 1 john 2:15-17 “ Do not love the world or the things in the world. If anyone loves the world, the love of the Father is not in him. For all that is in the world-the lust of the flesh, the lust of the eyes, and the pride of life-is not of the Father but is of the world. And the world is passing away, and the lust of it; but he who does the will of God abides forever" The spiritual principal that Jesus is teaching us is that we must give Him first place in our hearts. We must believe and receive Him for salvation (John 1:11-13), we must also trust Him for everything, “Be anxious for nothing, but in everything by prayer and supplication, with thanksgiving, let your requests be made known to God; and the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, will guard your hearts and minds through Christ Jesus”(Philippians 4:6-7). The rich man went back to his wealth. He lost the chance to get eternal life that Christ offers to those who believe and receive Him. Notice the folly of man: At death, you don't carry with you anything from this world, including your academic papers. And there is only two places the soul of mankind goes after death; heaven or hell (Luke 16:19-30). The Bible says in Hebrew 9:27, "And as it is appointed for men to die once, but after this the judgment" The dead in Christ will hear the trumpet call of God when Christ returns to take away His Church and shall resurrect with new glorified bodies. The living in Christ will have their bodies changed into glorified bodies. The dead and the living in Christ will meet Christ in the clouds. “For the Lord himself shall descend from heaven with a shout, with the voice of the archangel, and with the trump of God: and the dead in Christ shall rise first: Then we which are alive and remain shall be caught up together with them in the clouds, to meet the Lord in the air: and so shall we ever be with the Lord”(1 Thessalonians 4:16-17) The rest living and dead without christ will wait for judgement unto damnation to the pit of hell. That is very sad. If you can read this and you are not in Christ, this is your moment to believe and receive Him. Kindly make this prayer; “Lord Jesus, I need You. Thank You for dying on the cross for my sins. I open the door of my life and receive You as my Savior and Lord. Thank You for forgiving my sins and giving me eternal life. Take control of the throne of my life. Make me the kind of person You want me to be.” If this prayer expresses the desire of your heart, then you can pray this prayer right now and mean it in your heart and Christ will come into your life, as He promised. You have just received Jesus as the Lord of your life and Savior. Now join a Bible-believing church, and set a private quiet time to read your Bible and pray every day, and you will grow in Christ. Begin from the gospel of John and read systematically chapter by chapter, book by book without skipping. Random reading is not a good way to engage with God’s word. After reading the whole book of John, go to the next book of Acts. As you read the book of acts, desire and pray to be filled in the Holy Spirit. He will fill you with His anointing power.
