@@eavyeavy2864he literally allowed her to see life from a new perspective and showed what living and love is, he 100% saved her from Strega and she saved him after he died
I love how in the beginning, Junpei hit on every girl in sight and was turned down immediately. But later after meeting Chidori, who was very quiet and wanted nearly nothing to do with him, he only talked to her naturally and never hit on her, and eventually ended up with her and stayed loyal to her, even turning down FemC. Junpei may be annoying but he had some of the best character development in the series
@@stargazersdance he wasn't annoying. Honestly, I love yosuke and Ryuji but I prefer Junpei. In general, the characters in P3 had more depth and it was less "POWER OF FRIENDSHIP" and the cliche little kids being philosophical yet ending up sounding cringe. Imo, P3 conveys messages in a much better way.
First time he calls herChidorita: "Yo, Chidorita!" "Don't call me that ." P4AU several years latter "Chidorita this, chidorita that , Chidorita Chidorita" She never could let go again of the nickname, I love them XD
To be fair of all Magician Arcanas in the series, Junpei's actually the one with the happiest ending in his love life, depending if you choose to save Chidori that is since she survives, but loses her memories of all that happened in the time she met him. Still compared to others like Yosuke or Morgana, his was able to continue
No matter what anyone says, I'm glad I made Junpei visit her more, and I'm glad I was able to help him save her. To me, the fact that the game devs put such a feature of letting her die or save her is probably intentional. The fact that I was able to reunite Junpei,;and Chidori, means that this is canon to me. Maybe not canon to thr full story but to me it is. Junpei x Chidori forever! (I mean he even rejects p3 FeMC because he loves Chidori instead. Loyal to the end)
@@curlydolltv Junpei has a necklace that was confirmed by the "Persona Stalker Club" to be a gift from Chidori. He also has a quote that says that Chidori will kill him if something happens to him.
I ship it as well. I actually have some kind of head cannon where Chidori once realizing what she really wants ditches anything regarding Strega & joins S.E.E.S. (a skill exclusive to her allowed her to revive a fallen teammate, [mainly Junpei tho] it can't be used very often either)
Actually there was a romance with the FeMC on the rooftop that they later removed. It’s still there though in the system files that someone accessed. Should be on RU-vid.
junpei is my second favorite persona character. his entire character arc and relationship with chidori is incredible. i haven't seen a single persona character past persona 3 even come close to the amount of development junpei goes through
Because this game doesn't have widescreen support, but there are patches/hacks that can be used with PCSX2 and real ISOs to play most games in a 16:9 aspect ratio without stretching the image. In other words, a bit more of the background (that would normally be hidden) is being shown constantly. Sometimes it's funny to see party members or important characters walking in place through a whole conversation before stepping in
There's some in-game files that show a drawing of Tartarus. Probably just a placeholder sketch of Tartarus used as a texture for her sketchbook, though.
Junpei has the same japanese voice actor as Mista from Jojo. And Chidori has a similar ability to Giorno. This scene where Chidori revives Junpei is similar to when Giorno healed Mista
I played Persona 3 when I was 12. The story didn't make much sense to me at first, but it was hella fun. I replayed it when I was 16 through P3P and it was just as good as I remember. But this time, death started to mean something to my developing brain. Rumors of P3 Remake surfaced around last year, and that Yukari leak got me really excited. My happiness was at its peak, especially since I just found the love of my life around that time. I played Persona 3 once again just to temper my excitement for the remake. This game really means a lot to me. Fast forward April of 2023. I received grim news that my girlfriend was killed by an over-speeding driver he was drunk. And he was able to get away from his crimes. It was the darkest hour of my life, preceded by an even darker two weeks of pain, misery, and crippling loneliness. I loved my girl so much. It just hurt losing her in such a pointless way. I'm finally able to come into terms with the pain. We now have a release date for P3R. I am excited. Rewatching the life and tragedy of Junpei and Chidori's relationship. Her death, and his misery. It hit all too damn close. It was impossible not to shed a tear, remembering the pain of losing the one I loved so much. Like Chidori, I am now afraid of death. Afraid of attachment. Of feeling joy. I know I gotta snap out of it somehow. Funny enough, I always saw myself in Akihiko while growing up. Who would've thought that it would be Junpei in the end? Though it's a shame. I'm really happy Junpei got his happy ending. Not for me though. Yet, life goes on. May P3R serve the story justice.
Damn, man. My condolences, and I hope you can find attachments again. It's... the only thing we have in this life. For the sake of your life and others, live. I'm glad you exist.
It's been 10 months, I hope you played it by now, there are so many other tiny little moments in the game that make him such a great character, and the game has an unmatched vibe that you've gotta get into.
@@Makaryv8You know a good playthrough on RU-vid that I can watch? (It has to be FES. HD Mods or not. It's fine. It can have Commentary so long as it's not annoying or anything)
I know her staying alive goes against every theme of the game, but dude, if your gf died, then came back to life, you wouldn’t be like “but death is eternal”, you’d be “hell yeah, my gf is alive!” Therefore I am very happy about this. Shinji stays dead though. Don’t get me wrong, I love him, but that’s too much.
I hate that P4 and P5 don't have a romance for my bro like this. It's like they kinda had an idea of it with yosukexchie, and ryujixanne but they were too chicken to go through with it.
I know Junpei can be a bit hot-headed and a bit perverted but I think he’s a pretty great character. I like how Junpei plays himself off as a popular and cool guy but when he’s with Chidori, he’s awkward af. Which fits the concept of persona cuz he’s wearing a “mask”.
Back when games weren't scared of shipping people, and making them have canon relationships. These days it's a taboo for some reason and I really hate it.
While I have my issues with this game and its characters, I just like to say I love how it sometimes has no music playing for the most intense scenes. I wish more games and movies did this, instead of this obsession of having music blaring all of the time. It just makes things much more potent when you have just ambient noise...
It would have been better if not every single one of them trying to suck your d after becoming friend with the mc. I'm looking at you p4(haven't played p5 yet)
She probably won't live that long tho because of the pills. Heck shinjiro was only taking it for like 2-3 years and he was already dying, much less her. At least our Da man junpei is there for her till her last days (despite the amnesia)
Junpei: Should I go see Chidori? Yūki: You should go see her, man / it’s useless Junpei give up on her nothing shall be accomplished from constantly pursuing that maiden, you are but a fool walking along the path of suffering this persistence shall only lead to grief, it’s useless

@@diamondthedragon9792 In Japanese schools the students help keep the school clean by performing cleaning tasks like sweeping. While in more western schools, custodians and janitors do the work, in Japan the students take time at the end if the day to clean classrooms, bathrooms, etc. Helps to teach them personal responsibility and gives them the opportunity to interact with other students, plus the tidier spaces help the students feel happier overall.
@@SpicyButterflyWingsI went to school in Germany and we also had to sweep and stuff. I'm glad we're doing so. And I'm totally fine with it. Even need to clean the Board and close the Windows. Again. Real glad that we're doing this here.
@@TheGingiGamer FYI I've never played any of the Persona games due to 2 facts: 1. I don't own a playstation 2. I didn't even know the Persona series existed until Joker came to Smash Bros. So plz don't attack me for the fact that I love Persona yet never played it. >:C
I would have liked Atlus to do this also with Mitsuru and Akihiko or with Chie and Yosuke, even with Ann and Ryuji it works perfect too. But no, the MC has to have all or almost all the girls behind him and you can't create these great stories outside of the MC himself.
Yeah. Shame. Maybe not revivals but still. Hmm. Unless they made a castle or something where one of the party members' hearts get fucked and you gotta change it.
I was looking for the guide for Chihiro's social link and I made a mistake when writing I only had 3 cutscenes of the 2 of them and now I find out that they are practically together XD Well now at least I know that Junpei will have a happy ending or I don't know -_-
