Rules for this challenge:
-Goal is to beat the game while minimizing EXP as much as humanly possible (without losing my sanity)
-Hard mode, True Ending, No Nyx Skip, No New Game Plus
-In order to dilute EXP as much as possible, a full party must always be used when possible
-Permanently increasing persona stats via the arcade or card incenses are banned for as long as possible (at least until after the final Tartarus guardian)
-All other mechanics are fair game!
Actual hell. Have a persona that just resists elec. Fanatic Tower won't be able to Elec Break your resistance. It can only break Null, Drain, or Repel. Only switch to your Null Elec persona when it uses Mind Charge. Poison is bad not just because it's poison, but also because it messes with the party's AI and how they prioritize healing. Try to keep your party alive for as long as possible but if it gets to a point where it's becoming too much of a chore, just let the protagonist and Akihiko carry the fight and revive the others towards the end.

It's really lucky how you got Revolution so early in the game, I'm wondering if you got that by pure chance or did you do some game exploits to give you a better odd of getting that skill.

Was wondering if there is some chance that cadenza could have been usefull here (I doubt it but maybe?). It would heal about twice as much as media and apply masukukaja (worst buff but still a party wide buff that may allow yukari/mitsuru to dodge which would mean even less time spent healing). Naturally though the drawback is having to spend a turn with Apsaras equipped which means no elec resistance and a mighty 3 endurance and therefore being quite susceptible to Zionga/Mazionga. For me this hasn´t been to much of a drawback assuming that you are carefull when going into Apsaras altough you are lower level than I tend to be so perhaps the additional level scaling and lower max hp would make this to risky for to little of a reward. I´d guess that without tarunda active you´d simply be oneshot and with it active you´d probably lose almost all hp if you are hit. Almost losing all hp might be a big enough deterrent anyway since then the dmg you take by equipping Apsaras over Naga/Oberon could outweigh the extra healing from Cadenza.

honestly it might be worth to already look into the stat inheritance shenanigans already, as that could solve this issue. I'm not sure how many gems you'd have gotten by this point (from subbosses obviously), but it's possible that you'd have quite a bit of en from cards. one of my strats (for nyx) involved using cadenza, and I managed to get my apsaras to about 80 in all stats via stat inheritance. edit: nevermind, just realized stat increases are banned for this run lol. my points still stands though, should you want to use something like apsaras for cadenza way later it is possible.

How is Masukukaja the worst buff?

@@ArshadZahid_nohandleideas For defensive purposes I find that it is lackluster compared to marakukaja because you have party wide healing and in p3 SP management is not much of an issue. For offensive purposes it simply means you don´t miss as often and in order to have the same effective dps as a matarukaja buff it would need to increase the amount of attacks that connect by approx 33%. The argument for sukukaja is that it does some combination of raku/taru-kaja and that this combination outwighs the value of any one of the other two but from my experience it never really did.

@@ArshadZahid_nohandleideas because all sukukaja does is reduce the amount of RNG needed. if the tower decides to mazionga, you're still taking 3+ turns healing(unless you dodge ofc). unless you get 3 dodges (meaning you only need to heal a single person), your turn economy is generally unchanged. the only use case for evasion really is somebody that WILL die dodging. even then, there's an argument to be made that if you can win with sukukaja, you probably can without it, so a lot of the time it's not even worth the bother trying to include it in a strategy. its effects are also often intangible so it might be more worth to just attack for 50 damage instead of sukukaja'ing. the main difference I would like to point out though is that cadenza and masukukaja albeit having the same effect in reality, are counted as different buffs and therefore stack. yes, that means you can stack both normal masukukaja and cadenza's masukukaja(plus a sukunda from aki for good measure) for some pretty nasty evasion. use that how you will. @UpItIsMe ehh, somewhat agree and somewhat disagree. it's not about the raw damage increase in the case of offensive sukukaja, more often than not it's about consistency. barring scenarios like SMT3 solo lucy (where your accuracy is in the dumps due to shitty formulas, so the damage increase is actually +33%), it's mostly just about making RNG not as bad. however impactful that is in the long run though, idk. as for defensive sukukaja, there are scenarios and scenarios. some of the time even rakukaja+tarunda isn't enough. party members will likely get one shot in a low level run, sometimes making evasion the only way to survive. on top of it, although this doesn't apply here, evasion does lead to some nasty turn economy in solo runs. in one of the 1v3 fights I know I hard relied on evade wind, and if possible used sukukaja on myself to improve the odds. (yes, they had wind break, and yes, I stacked abs wind + evade wind). this doesn't apply as often in full party runs though, since usually you're just healing back, and 3 party members being low hp is mechanically identical to 4 being low hp. it only differs if the 4th is actually dead.

I see… Just out of curiosity, does the same apply to the debuff equivalent?
