Persona 3 Reload is a role-playing video game developed and published by Atlus. Reload is a remake of Persona 3 (2006), the fourth main installment of the Persona series, itself a part of the larger Megami Tensei franchise. Interesting… I mean, I still see their relationship in a more platonic way but when Akihiko in the beginning is all “I need to get back into fighting again despite being injured”, it felt like Mitsuru’s the mom and he’s a child.

Altus did confirm that they’re not dating in the dancing game when makoto ask if those two are dating and akihiko say “why would I date a girl with some much trouble?”

Akihiko and mitsuru are like yosuke and chie, they could be something but end up as more trouble for one another. Akihiko doesn't know how to approach mitsuru and is not really good at romance. Mitsuru is kinda oblivious to a lot of things and more about business. He probably run away from her then anything because he fears her. I'll give it a couple of more years and maybe they will think differently

I am glad the developers actually put this, since many people would feel awkward dating Mitsuru if she was dating Akihiko already. But it is all just friendship so you don't need to fear anything, she is free.

Should’ve flashbacked to that one choice in Dancing in Moonlight lol Edit: I need to vent. I JUST got Daisoujou’d in SMTV. MF caught me off guard with a Mahamaon after getting Magatsuhi. And I was SO CLOSE after about 7 attempts of trial and error. Edit 2: 2 attempts later, and I finally beat him.

I shipped Akihiko and Mitsuru since I played the orignal years ago, during their very first scene at the start of the game. I think its fair enough that they're just platonic friends throughout the game, to give a chance for the MC to romance her and I'm totally fine with it. Since we know how this game will end, who knows maybe when they're both mature enough and when the time is right for both of them, maybe they'll have a chance together in the future. Just my opinion, and a little wishful thinking

I wonder how Akihiko feels about her. He's always seemed pretty oblivious to members of the opposite sex. I assume he sees her as just a friend/sister, but they were fighting shadows just the 2 of them for a while after Shinji left so maybe he thought they were closer than she does.

Well Akihiko does seem to genuinely fear Mitsuru's executions, I imagine he's probably been subjected to a couple in the past 😆. I think the guy would be far too scared to ever date her for fear of pissing her off, since she probably had the resources to wipe him off the face of the earth without a trace 🤣.
