Some people did some code diving and Crit amp + Crit boost dont stack for some reason so enjoy your slash boost without accesory.

So fully optimized would be with Brave blade, crit amp, apt pupil, slash boost, slash amp, slash driver, single-target boost, and maybe shift amp. I wouldn't recommend an accessory with just slash boost because there are better more useful ones. Shift amp as a replacement is niche though as it only increases damage if you shift, so something like reflect dark from the level 13 sword card or arms master to 1/2 cost would be better. Maybe charge if you don't have a dignified charge and concentrate persona.

god's hand does more damage I believe though so focusing on the persona with strike driver would be better as it would increase power, and the lessened crit rate wouldn't matter because of the crit amp and apt pupil already hitting the crit cap.

The added insta-kill effect are useless too since it doesn't affect bosses and most mobs who could be affected by it would just die from the inflicted almighty damage instead. Morning Star could be passed around this time and that move are honestly a better choice in terms of damage and (slight) SP cost, but I'd personally rather use Helel or Messiah instead for that.

i feel atlus didn't want something as OP as Myriad Truths so they nerfed the dlc personas this time but i think they undercooked Satanael a bit too much.

Between Sinful Shell NOT using Satanael's gun, and Primal Force being turned into... a fucking arrow? Idk what in YHVH's name Atlus was snorting with this. BEYOND disappointing.

Yeah i only grind once per full moon cycle because of how op vanadis with slash amp and crit boosts, the only problem would be slash block or repel, other than that, sinful hell abuse

I didn’t touch on it here but when that happens (which is rare) use the Scarlet Havoc Theurgy. It pierces through resistances and does a crap ton of damage too! You can boost it further by adding Multi-Target boost as well

Yup that was already pointed out to me. However in Reload, there does not seem to be a cap (or at least not one that’s been discovered)

There is a cap, however only Magic can reach it. It is 4x. There is only two ways to reach it. One being to simply use Boost x Amp x Driver x Magic Ability (With DLC). Without DLC though, you can do Boost x Amp x Magic Ability x Magic Mastery x Single/Multi target boost. Phys, at best, can hit around 3.8x with driver, which is hilarious.

Perhaps and that would be a problem.... if barely anything in the game nullified, drained, or repelled physical. In the rare cases that they are, you should absolutely use an elemental Persona. But as it stands, barely anything is able to stand in Cendrillons way.

@@jaffinator2166 Well depends whether you count bosses or normal mobs. For normal mobs, you are always better off targeting weaknesses rather than trying to max out damage. Mid game onwards most bosses (including monad ones) don't have weaknesses and only have immunities. Plenty of these have resistance or immunity to physical. Cendrillion is weak or useless against pretty much half of the bosses if you exclude the early game ones, but is incredibly powerful against non-physical resist/immune enemies. Almighty on the other hand can't be boosted quite as much as physical, but its not that far behind. Considering that there is no almighty resistance, IMHO Helel or Satan is overall more powerful as you aren't giving up that much damage and they are equally useful against ALL enemies.

I don't think that's how multi hits work. From what I've seen in my playthrough either all hits hit or miss as well as all crit or do normal damage. I've never had a multi attack mix crits with non crits.

For crit rate boost specifically, the antique shop at the mall sells that skill card (becomes available after the beach trip) and you can trade the gems you occasionally collect in battles to get it. As for Slash Boost, you can either RNG for it in Shuffle Time or fuse it onto Siegfried. Although Jikokuten is the only Persona who has it and I have yet to find a good fusion path to get it (hence why I have that as an accessory and I forget how I got that)

Oh yeah. And I am 100% convinced Sinful Shell not being as strong as it could be is a direct response to how game breaking Myriad Truths was.

@@jaffinator2166 yeah. im thinking for a NG plus any persona with morning star with victory cry plus omnipotent orb could be the "best" persona. add in almighty boos and amp and others like spell master instaheal etc. so damn broken.

Yeah only reason I got the DLC is it came with the Collectors Edition. Else I probably would not have gotten it (the costumes are bad 😭😭😭😭)

I got it through Skill Card during Shuffle Time. Earliest you can get it through fusion is Uriel at level 60

Actually for All-Target damage, I recommend building Cendrillon like this 1. Slash Boost, Amp, and Driver 2. Multi-Target Boost 3. Crit Boost, Amp, and Apt Pupil 4. Whatever last skill you want And then pair it with the Scarlet Havoc Theurgy.

You can just know you won’t have access to Slash Driver so Cendrillon would still output more damage

Definitely and I actually found out that Johnanna would actually outdamage Cendrillon because of God’s Hand’s higher power. But I’d still say Cendrillon is worth using over her because 1. Brave Blade’s higher crit chance 2: Her impact on the Scarlet Havoc Theurgy

scarlet havoc is the main reason shes better. ive been using Johanna and she can hit upto 15k onn the right set up that ive used@@jaffinator2166

Yes. Use Siegfried for mid game then find a way to fuse him into Masakado (requires 9/10 Elizabeth fusion requests) for endgame. Similar set up to here but you won’t have Slash Driver

Yeah I definitely think it shines less spotlight on what makes the classic demons/Personas special. But at the same time, they’re optional and in this game specifically, Siegfried is a good substitute

nope they don’t stack at all lol, it’s weird cuz the game doesn’t tell u anything. But at least rebellion & revolution do stack so it’s still possible to get insane lvls of crit

Level 54 is the earliest possible but I recommend waiting until you and Siegfried hits level 61 so he learns all his skills

No actually, it’s available for purchase as external DLC (although IDK how much it costs because I got a code for it included in the Collector’s Edition). However if you don’t have it, Siegfried is an amazing substitute

Thing is not really. By not getting the DLC, you’re only missing out on an additional 75% damage increase. Look up any videos about Siegfried online and you’ll see he’s just as viable and strong.

@@jaffinator2166 yes I know. 75% damage is... quite a lot. And I love how all these videos are DLC Persona and then on the easiest difficulty so the enemies take more damage.

Thank you so much! BTW the vids of people 1-shotting Liz (at least the ones I’ve seen) have been done on Peaceful difficulty where your damage is cranked up to an absurd degree. Playing on Hard or Merciless will still do insane damage, just nothing that will 1-shot.

1. Yes I have and it looks awesome! The 27th (physical preorder date) can’t come soon enough! 2. Definitely like I said, with the odd exception, you’re conditioned in the series to prioritize magic. So having physical be a game ended (especially once you get Siegfried) is amazing! 3. My guess, they’ll tweak Sinful Shell to do more damage but tone the Driver skills down to 50%

Definitely. If you have the space, Multi-Target Boost for Scarlet Havoc is another great skill on her.

Thanatos looks so cool and when I played P3P I didn't set him up because I had other personas set up and he didn't really look like he had anything unique. Might try to get morning star on him and try for almighty amp too. He still doesn't besides great resists but IDK I might also be switching Vanadis out for a leveled up Cendrillon going into the endgame but I love masquerade.

Yup 100% right. Although at the time of writing this, I was unaware of the impact Multi-Target boost had on Scarlet Havoc. If you don’t care about Cendrillon doing damage, and do it solely through SH, I recommend the following build 1. Slash Driver 2. Slash Amp 3. Slash Boost 4. Crit Boost 5. Crit Amp 6. Apt Pupil 7. Multi-Target Boost 8. Up to you

Yeah I actually set a similar rule for this playthrough. I was only allowed to fuse the DLC. No buying from the Compendium for free. If I was going to use them, I had to earn it

@@jaffinator2166 that’s awesome. It’s really annoying how the regular calculator doesn’t work with some fusions because it’s not compatible with the DLC. For example I was trying to get a super powerful Tam Lin for Arsene via fusion but it kept giving me Carmen for every fusion I tried. Good luck if you’re gonna try any other ones

I’d definitely say use charge… on a different Persona. Because you want AS MANY boost passives on her as possible. Plus Charge and Concentrate have a surprisingly high SP cost in this game.

Oh yeah no question Atlus has been greedy with DLC. Have you SEEN SMTV Vengeance? I’m hyped for it but I think having to buy the game AND new DLC on top of that is ridiculous.

​@@jaffinator2166 I'm going to get Vengence on pc, but hopefully i don't have to spend more than $30 on dlc. I have 817 hours and 29 cycles on base SMT V, so i have no doubts i'll get my moneys worth of Vengence. Also mods and cheats are eternal. I've had lots of interesting runs i've wanted to do, but couldn't since i cant modify skills, stats, and level on switch. I'm sure there will actually be a modding community since it will be on pc. If there are observable issues, a modder will be there to fix it, smt has enough dedicated fans who liked smt v a lot. I believe SMT V is liked more than people think, it's the most new mainline SMT so new comers wont always like it. It's got issues like level scaling, some bosses being kinda tanky early to midgame, similar sandy biome. The way i see it, smt 3 vortex world is all sand. smt v just takes place in the sand, and not in the buildings and cities. As a whole smtv is extremely solid. To an experienced smt gamer, a tankier boss is alright as long as its not too tanky. Persona 4 golden had some very tanky bosses for instance, but without as many ways to deal a lot of damage like in smt. Or maybe its because each demon is min maxed, and fused, and resummoned , but you cant min max your persona team mates to the same extent. The empty story is not a issue to me, story on the first playthrough, then skip in NG+ (besides some cool parts.) The music is still top tier, the fusion is better than ever, the press turn system stays winning, the animations and demons look great. I'll stop now since i'm passionate about smt, and could go on.

My two cents take is I hope you won’t be hypocritical if you consider Atlus to be greedy, but ended up spending money on gacha games with more than or equal to 70 USD like the real cost of Persona 3 Reload Full Package btw

You’ll see later when I upload it but my final Cendrillon for Elizabeth had Brave Blade, Crit Boost and Amp, Apt Pupil, Slash Driver, Slash Amp for damage and Angelic Grace and Vidyaraja’s Blessing to take advantage of her high evasion stat. Probably could have replaced Vidyaraja with Ali Dance to really drive it home but eh.

Alright: I got some tips for you 1. USE THE FUSION CALCULATOR!!!! I cannot understate how important it is. I linked Siegfried’s page in the description but you can find the Persona/Demon you want to fuse and it will tell you it’s skills, what demons you can fuse into it, and what you can fuse that demon into. Some (like P3R) even have a recipe generator if you’re looking for a specific skill 2. Understand what your desired Persona specializes in. Orthrus for example is a fire and physical demon so you may want to put stuff like Fire Boost, Maragi, and Vacuum Wave would be perfect. 3. Make sure you hang out with SL. The more you do, the less time you have to spend grinding a Persona’s skills.

@@jaffinator2166 I've done all of that (took me too long to figure out how to use the calculator ^^;). The only thing is... the skills I want will have to overwrite his innate skills. The build I'm going for isn't 'OMG how broken is he?' but rather just to make him viable as an end game persona. Said skills are: Inferno, Megidolaon, Matarukaja-which he learns thankfully, Primal force, Fire amp, Null Ice, spell master and Unshaken will. I'm still undecided on Megi and unshaken will though. The difficult part is that the calculator shows me that four of the personas to make this are Lucifer, Alice, Helel and Futsunushi. I'm not using any dlc personas yet but that may change soon. What HAVE I set myself up for? XD

@@VintageDoggoDude yeah with endgame skills like that, you’re going to have to either fuse those Personas or go skill card farming. Fortunately you can get Megidolaon from the Antique shop and Amps are frequent Shuffle Time and Treasure drops on the last area. As for Primal Force and Inferno… IDK although I personally recommend Brave Blade if you can.

All the crit boosts would work on her and (provided there’s no cap) she would have a basically guaranteed chance to do so. It’s just she won’t be able to receive Slash Driver so she won’t have the damage output Cendrillon does

True SMTV had some OP demons.

1. The video should tell you that. 2. To answer your second comment, you’re going to have to place some skill cards on her, that’s how I did it for skills that wouldn’t fit during the fusion process. 3. I appreciate your, enthusiasm, but please bear in mind that building her optimally will take awhile (even if you have all the right skill cards).

I gave my original Thanatos Maeigaon, Megidolaon and Deathbound aided by multi-target boost and yeah, he was pretty powerful

You can achieve similar results yes. But Cendrillon’s Slash Driver skill makes it so she’ll do more damage than any other Slash-based Persona. If Slash isn’t your speed though, you can accomplish the same effect with Johanna (Strike) with God’s Hand or Milady (Pierce) with Primal Force. But Cendrillon is still the best because, if I add Multi-Target Boost into the mix, Scarlet Havoc would be doing crazy numbers

It was that way in P5R but Reload is still being datamined so we don’t yet know if that’s still the case.

There might be a cap. Looking into it, skills like Heaven's Blade and Masquerade can, in theory, hit more than 100% crit chance. But in practice, it could not crit sometimes. It's a very small chance though, a rough test I did went to doing 70 or so strikes and it only missed a crit 3 times. It's that high if there is a cap.
