Step 1 : Set Diff to Peaceful (This allows you to revive infinitely)
Step 2 : Go to any floor and wait for the Reaper for 10-15 Minutes
Step 3 : Attack the Reaper and Revive until he dies
Step 4 : Level up lots of times and break the early game

I'd rather spend 40 mins on one grind than hours. This is the best way to get EXP and money at this point. At least till more DLC drops

@@Gbyrd99 no they don't. Sit down, set up your team and give yourself 20 Mims with the reaper. After killing him once, the next run is even shorter.

That is true, although there is an addition to Tartarus where you can make some party members close to your level. like from lvl 11 to lvl 31 assuming you're around lvl 35 or something.

FYI the great clock mechanic that you are talking only manages to level up your party members at most 13 levels so if your lvl 50 and your party member is lvl 30 they will level up to 43

@@Kumire_921 FYI if you try merciless on ng+ you lose your social stats, compendium and items. Only cosmetics and items that give you fusions get carried over, so it's essentially ng with extra steps

This will not get patched. This is a very common strategy used in every persona game since P4G. Its just sorta looked down upon in the community, but those guys look down on everyone for everything

Just finished the game yesterday and now I'm doing NG+ for Max Social Links, so I'm doing this for leveling my party. At the end of the day, it's your choice of how you want to play the game. I raised EXP gained in P4G too

You could just let your party die except for the MC when the reaper is about to die. Let the MC get all the exp and then use the new clock system that allows you to level up party members to the MCs level

Too unreliable. Each clock can increase levels for two characters. You have 7-8 characters at max who need to keep up with MC and Fuuka. That's up to 4 rounds or even 4 days wasted trying to run around getting the clock to spawn. Even for the sake of "grinding", it's too inefficient compared to sharing the EXP gained from multiple Reapers, since the Reaper can respawn on different floors even on the same day you beat it. Remember that this trick is for "the early game". Your evenings are better spent on enhancing your stats, ranking up social links, and unlocking party members' personality traits than looking for some clocks in the dungeon.

Having access to Monad on the 83rd floor is not "the early game". The easiest prompt about the Reaper was back in the Arqa Block.

You can also get the devil arcana and one other card I can’t remember the name of that gives you double items to both be able to choose 2 rewards from the fight, and get 2 bloody buttons each time

Or you could just grind Armageddon… probably longer if you only fight him one time but if you fight him multiple times to get everyone leveled up it is insanely faster to just have Makoto commit sudoku on himself until everyone is leveled up.

Legit got too tired from lvl gold farming so i just said fck it, slapped the game into peaceful and am now enjoying my easy farm. Only turn the difficulty back to hard when im fighting bosses

I was at around lvl 35 or 40 when I did this, took me about 30-50 minutes. Its hazy now since its been a while. I reloaded my save and proceeded in playing normally after this one

Decided to try again at a higher level instead of doing it at lvl 30 with better personas so that I'll get lucky with counters (so the reaper takes dmg lol) and deal decent dmg including using gems from grinding strong enemies in tartarus

heya man, this is a dumb question, but does the cards you receive in shuffle time after defeating the reaper affect shuffle time afterwards early on in the game?

No, Since I defeated the Reaper at this level, it is guaranteed I would get Jack+ Level Cards. but after this fight, the cards I got were low leveled. Jack+ Cards are in 5th block i think.

@@xRyvenn On rainy days, enemy shadows had a chance to start the battle with despair, an ailment that killed the victim after 3 turns unless cured, which shadows evidently couldn't do. Now, the thing is in the og this even affected enemies that were supposed to be immune to the status, including the Reaper. Long story short, the strat was finding a despaired Reaper, then waiting 3 turns for it to literally die of sadness. Oh, I almost forgot to mention despair also prevented those affected from acting on their turn 😁.

Nope, any time you switch away from Merciless - you will not be able to switch it again.

I’ve been playing Merciless, and I…kinda broke my game? Basically, I came up with a grinding method after the 2nd full moon fight due to Tukari being 1 level less than the rest after, where I took only her, and so she’d get more exp, making things go faster. So, near the end of Arqa, since I saw the player Lv was like 25 when I was at 23-21, and I decided to bring all my members to at LEAST 24. And hey, will say, not only did they level up faster, it also made battles more interesting, since not only do you have less turns and AAs dealing less damage, but you also have to account for your partner’s skills and weaknesses and all that for each battle. It was a fun time! …Until the drawback came in. See, because Makoto has to always be in the party, he’d gain experience EVERY fight. Ik that’s obvious, but it made so that once I was done grinding, Makoto was like 4 levels above everyone else. And then, when I got to Yabbashah…It made the battles way too easy. Even the first mini-boss wasn’t too tough. And it wasn’t fun. I had to actively avoid battles as much as possible just because I wanted to actually be on equal footing so that battles, or at least mini-bosses, COULD be fun again. That did work, but still. Overall, not my favourite method longterm, but if you wanna make battles more interesting during the actual grinding, (Or you just like P5R’s difficulty standards, which…I like P5R, but damn it’s too easy), then this method is for you

I don't think there's any Trophy related to Merciless or the secret boss so its still okay. I don't care about achievements but I most of them. Most of them because the other 3 are optional trophies I can choose to not finish.

I guess that works. I bet after this It’s like using the DLC level 90 personas early game in persona 5 royal. I thought about doing it, but part of the fun is not using cheap tricks to make the game easy. I try to keep it at least slightly difficult. Persona games are not really the paragon of difficulty though. 😂 even without tricks the newer games are not that hard.

You can do it as early as lvl 20-30 - if you like doing it for more than 100 minutes. xD

Yeah, technically January is in the End game now. as long as you change the Diff to Peaceful you should have infinite revives - Keep in mind tho you wont be able to play Merciless.

Still works, but not recommended if you are playing on Merciless, you wont be able to change back to merciless after doing this.

No. It took me like 20 mins just having him blasting Sinful Shell and it barely did anything to him. I just ended up pressing Start to fast foward till I die then revive myself rinse and repeat.

You get it as you progress through the game, quite early too. Its either an Elizabeth quest reward or some type of reward in each Gatekeeper boss.

Nice video, but for a smaller audience I don't see a problem with this but if you plan to grow for a bigger audience its best to make sure that is in instead.. the flash warning or something ahead of time as you suggested in your description. If you thought it maybe do so. I'm used to flashing, and it kind of killed my eyes, unless the person is far away. Which you won't get at a computer screen. Keep up the work my guy.

You can encounter him as early as floor 1. You just need to wait for 10 minutes.

The Funny part is, When I reloaded and played normally. I got to January and proceeded in Farming Reaper. The first One to get to lvl 99 was Aigis because she was the underleveled one and I got the an Arcana who increased the EXP received of whoever was the Most UnderLeveled. when I killed reaper at lvl 92 and Aigis was at lvl 90, Fuuka and I got to lvl 95 while Aigis level to 99.

@vinmatu didn't need to grind at all. Felt natural as all hell, just fight everything you come across. By end of game had reached level 99 for everyone and was short of beating Elizabeth except didn't have Orpheus Telos since I did not get all social links maxed in time. No DLC persona, on merciless first and only playthrough

In merciless just play like normal until you be able to fuse Helel and Lucifer. And then just use Armegeddon on Reaper. For new game plus , select hard mode, and then you can carry over previous persona and theology and then you can beat the reaper very early in the game and let your teammates ranked up

This isn't "breaking the early game", there is no challenge in this. Even a child could theorize this strategy. If there really is a way to break early game, find it and show it off in merciless
