Took me a little bit to decipher that. It’s counterintuitive for I thought it would normally go to D#m7b5. But it’s not apparently and that was the most accurate nomenclature for an unusual chord/progression
I suppose if someone is reading this, they know it, but, just in case. (Though, that was obviously a joke originally) The /Something for a chord usually indicates that the bass note is not from the chord. In case of C#m/D#, this means that chord C#m is played, but instead of C# (or any other note of this minor chord) as the bass note, the D# is played.
Thank u! Working on a full version too, even though so far shorts are better received and full vids require much more time just to get a very little audience I’m afraid!
So I gotta Learn a lot of 9ths and 11ths uh? I'm well used to 7ths but Didn't knew the "jazzy" vibes came from these chords. Also, I love how they kept a standard A chord in the middle of all this crazyness lol
@@Aranesque I believe m7 and maj7 are the most common harmonies for that Persona feeling, m9 is just the next extension and sometimes they use m11 too. Functionally it’s still the same, they just add a different flavor and vibe to it. m7b5 and altered dominants are common too!
Do you ever plan to release a full video on the chords or at least some piano music sheet on how to play this. I would really enjoy trying to learn to play this.
